DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP We purchased an Infiniti QX60 about a month ago, and the experience since then has been extremely frustrating. Within just a few days, we noticed a strange noise when turning. We brought the vehicle back and were told it was simply tools rolling around in the back. That explanation didn't sit right, so we took it to an Infiniti dealership for a second opinion. They informed us the vehicle has a transmission issue that could cost around $7,000 to repair, in addition to needing a tune-up--something you would expect to be addressed, especially on a vehicle sold with a warranty. The financing process was also very difficult. Communication was poor--we had to repeatedly follow up for updates, and our original salesperson was either unavailable or did not return our calls. At one point, we had enough time to consider purchasing an entirely different vehicle due to the lack of responsiveness. We were then instructed to bring the vehicle to the Burnsville location for diagnostics, even though we were initially told the Crystal location had already inspected it. This inconsistency added to the confusion and frustration. Update: Since then, we've had to bring the vehicle in multiple times and even pay out of pocket for diagnostic testing at an Infiniti dealership. The vehicle has spent more time in shops than in our possession--we didn't even have it for a full two weeks before it was taken back for repairs. At one point, it appears a code was simply cleared, and the vehicle was returned to us without the issue being properly resolved. Eventually, the dealership sent the vehicle to a transmission shop under warranty, where it has now been for nearly two weeks. We are still being asked to cover certain parts out of pocket, despite barely having had the chance to use the car. Meanwhile, we are making payments on a vehicle we cannot drive. I also want to address something that made this experience even more uncomfortable. I am a lesbian woman, and throughout this process, it has felt like our concerns were not taken seriously. Communication noticeably improved only when a male was involved in the conversation. I cannot say definitively what the intent was, but the difference in treatment was hard to ignore and left us feeling disrespected. Most recently, a manager at the Crystal location was dismissive of our concerns, stating that the repairs shouldn't be a "big deal" because they were covered. That response completely overlooked the inconvenience, lack of access to the vehicle, and overall poor experience we've had. At this point, we feel misled, unsupported, and unheard. I would not recommend this dealership based on our experience. read more

The sales staff are no pressure. They will let you take the car for a drive and even to your mechanic if you want. The Honda Odyssey we bought had significant damage to the front right side but it was repaired back to an almost new condition. We have put on over 3,000 miles and have had no issues. read more

EDIT!!: After talking to our wonderful mechanic more today, he said he forgot to mention that whoever did the brakes last (RavMotors claims they did them...) put grease on the threads of the calipers instead of loctite. He fixed that free of charge for us because that is extremely dangerous and negligent. Any normal person would want to ensure another humans safety. We'll be considering all options at this point but please, think twice before purchasing from these people. If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay as far away as possible from this crooked dealership. My son turned 16 in August and worked so hard to save up money to buy a (what he thought) was a nice car, and he got some help for the remainder from his grandpa. We had it inspected the day after it was purchased and our mechanic noticed a cracked oil pan (although RAV told them they just did an oil change...). My father in law brought it back and said it needed to be replaced the correct way, which it seemed to be. The car was purchased mid-September and by the middle of January (4 months later) the rear differential blew up. Tonight we had it replaced and not one, not two but THREE mechanics looked at the "old" differential to find that it was never programmed. They could also tell the differential had recently been replaced (again, by RavMotors). Did you know that some electronic differentials need to be programmed to match the VIN? I didn't but all 3 mechanics plus a couple of salvage yards we called (when looking for a used part) mentioned it to us. You'd think mechanics at a dealership who are responsible for selling FUNCTIONING vehicles would know that little tidbit but apparently that's above their pay grade. Luckily my son heard a sound that didn't seem right and stopped driving immediately or he (or another innocent person on the road) could have been seriously hurt or killed. I'm not one to leave bad reviews or complain. I won't send food back to a kitchen if it's wrong and I don't speak with a manager if I get attitude from a cashier; I HATE confrontation. But my son's safety is most important and this "dealership" and/or their incompetent mechanics put my son at risk and I'm not going to be quiet about it. read more

Fine experience. I knew what I was getting into with another salvaged car dealership. Make them pull up all the car history and ask what was repaired by them or other shops. If they don't give you straight answers probably not a good car to buy. read more

I would give zero stars but it isn't an option. This dealership does not list their vehicles as salvage titles, and they are. I even called to inquire about coming down and viewing the vehicle. I drove through traffic and construction to get to the dealership, and only after waiting to take it on a test drive was I informed that it was a salvage title. What a waste of time and bad business. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! All of the cars have a salvage title and are rebuilt. This wouldn't be an issue if they didn't use cheap after market parts and skimp out on any parts they can. It took 3 extra weeks to get my car back from a body shop after I hit a deer because RavMotors used the wrong parts and many parts were missing entirely. read more

They claim to "fix all issues" within the first 30 days after purchase... we had the vehicle back in their shop TWICE within that time and both times they claimed to have fixed all issues and I am STILL paying other mechanics to fix these issues almost a year later. They are SCAMMERS. They know how to talk and make promises and have zero integrity to back it up. Extremely disappointed. If I could select zero stars I would. I was told used car dealerships had to pass certain inspections to sell used cars. Apparently not. The Ravmotors in Crystal sold my husband, who is retired and dealing with memory issues, a complete lemon. He has had the car only a short time and had to put over $3k into it. They haven't been great about getting back to him regarding when he will get his vehicle back. I do not recommend this company in the least read more

Place seems to specialize is salvaged titles. When I asked who did the repair work they refused to tell me. The car I looked at was in rough shape and you could see just from looking under the hood that the front frame was still bent and didn't bolt up properly. Looked at another SUV that looked like the bumper had been spray painted and the bumper hood and driver's side fender were all misaligned! I wouldn't buy a car from this place! read more

SCAM RIP OFF TOTAL LIARS! I traded in a 2017 Rogue Sport and I wanted to do an even trade for their 2015 GMC Acadia. I had cash in my pocket if there was a difference. They told me the banks were closed so then they pushed this other vehicle on me. It was another GMC but a Terrain. I knew nothing about it but I took it on a quick test drive and I liked it. Not as much as the Acadia but I was really tired and it was the end of the evening. I work 2 jobs and go to school, I don't have time or the money to be messing with this. I looked right in the sales man's eyes and face and asked him if it was a good car and would get me through the winter and he looked me in the eye and said yes. Within 1 day it was burning oil. And within 1 week it is just dying randomly while I'm driving no matter how fast or slow I'm going. Plus, it's supposed to be brown according to the paperwork but the vehicle is gray. Hmm... When I went to talk to them about this they offered me these 2 options- recommendations to a shop to get the car fixed or $900 for a trade in. $900 for a trade in on a car that 2 weeks earlier they charged me $7000 for. Numi or Nuri whatever his name is had the audacity to offer me $900 F#@%ing dollars after he just screwed me into this junker. This is a bad bad man and a bad bad place to buy your car. Do not trust them. If they can screw over a little old lady they will screw anyone over. read more

Do not trust this place. I'm not exaggerating. This regards Artur at the Crystal location of RAVMOTORS. Artur sold a car out from under us after handing us a bill of sale last night, then confirming by phone at 6:00 that he would hold the car till we got there. Got financing and insurance lined up at 2:00 today, then called, and Artur said he sold it "last night." Artur said he "misunderstood." Baloney. They don't make eye contact, they sit behind their propped up computer monitor blocking you in the customer chair, leave you hanging while they leave and drink their Monster drinks, and then sell your car out from under you. This place is sketchy and here's why. I drop off packages to that location and I see how the people within the office interact with each other and they are not friendly. They act like they are being held hostage, just look miserable. Every time I walk in there it just feels sketchy. Take that for what it's worth but I don't think I would buy a car there Based on what I see behind the scenes. Worked with Paul to buy 2017 RAM 1500 at their Cyrstal MN location. Price was good and they handled all the paperwork. They arranged transport - the communication by the transport company was poor and so I ended up receiving it at a time not good for me [not RavMotors fault]. Went in looking for a Honda Civic, searched and found three online at this dealership at prices that are fair-to-high according to KBB fair price for preowned (KBB rating for an unsalvaged vehicle) and only until I went into the dealership was I notified that all 3 were Salvaged vehicles. Not a single mention on the online advertisements that they were Salvaged/deemed 'total losses'. This dealership is dishonest withholding this information from MN Consumers on their online advertisements of their vehicles. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a vehicle from here. I was told that it was inspected by a mechanic, I was told that it did not have any leaks, and I was advised against buying the extended warranty due to make and "condition" of the vehicle. 3 days after purchase, 2 significant leaks were found (PTU and power steering pump). These are costly repairs, not covered by the in-house "warranty." The dealership is not willing to take responsibility for their dishonesty, and the salesman avoided my calls for 2 business days, even when I was told by one of his associates, multiple times, that he would call me back in 1 hour. When I finally got a hold of him, he advised that the only thing they could do for me is to have their mechanic look at the vehicle and fix it and my expense. They were unwilling to give the name, number, or location of the "mechanic" that they were going to give my vehicle to to be worked on... SKETCHY!!! Don't let them talk you into buying a vehicle until you have had it inspected by a mechanic you trust, don't let them talk you out of the extended warranty, don't buy into the idea that anything is covered under their very limited, in-house powertrain warranty (It probably isn't), and to be on the safe side, don't buy from here. The salesman I worked with apparently didn't know much about the cars he was selling, as he relied on notes from the "mechanic," who also apparently knew nothing about vehicles, because one of the leaks was painfully obvious once underneath the vehicle (But not dripping ont he ground). read more

Terrible dealership. Went in originally to look at a car that was listed on their website, called ahead to ask about it, went in and it just wasn't there. Ended up buying a 2005 VW Golf that was in much worse condition than they claimed it was. The blinkers died HOURS after buying it and the rear lights went soon after. After calling in to have it fixed and even driving back up to do so (they kept claiming they would fix it whenever I called) they just never did. Waste of time and money. read more

BUYER BEWARE.. Bought 2012 Nissan Rouge Red. Did not even drive it 50 miles and the check engine light came on. Returned to dealership with the 30 dealer warranty they claimed to fix it. Picked it up did not even drive it 20 miles check engine light back on. Returned to dealer with the 30 days. I had put $517 into it lost that, dealership charged me $399 restock fee, lost $1000 on tax, title and license, and lost $518 on the CARS Protection Plus warranty that I bought at Rav for the Rouge. Now car is back on their lot for $1500 more than what I paid, I guess they are trying to get back some of the money they spend on TRYING to fix the car. Car was Bad....
