They are a very trustworthy shop. Will not take my cars to any other shop.

On the phone, our mechanic is honestly explaining to a customer that investing money into the repair is not a good mechanical choice. Better that he seek out another vehicle to purchase. Isn't this the type of mechanic one needs to have, instead of not saying anything? Other mechanics would just take the money, do the repair, and the customer would end up paying in the future for additional costly repairs. We're sticking with these mechanics. Thank you for having honesty and integrity. (5 months ago) They have been great in the past 2 years. They have been honest with us on what is necessary for repairs, personable, and have gone out of their way to help us. I would recommend this establishment.

I was able to take my car in, in the morning, and have it done in a few hours. My daughter recently needed brakes on her VW Rabbit, and I took her car to Doc Brown's and had her brakes replaced. Again, the brakes were done quickly, and at a very reasonable price. If you're looking for an honest, dependable, and knowledgeable auto tech, this is the place to go. Just be aware that this isn't like a regular garage or dealer's waiting room. There's nowhere to sit and wait for your car, so you'll have to have someone pick you up and then take you back for your car when it's finished. But I'll take a little inconvenience for good, competent work and price anytime.

Doc has saved us a couple of times: from a safely hazard scam and one that would have been a money pit. My brother was able to find a reliable used car for a good deal thanks to Doc's thoroughness and expertise. He saved my daughter from pouring her savings into a masked safety hazard lemon (w/many electrical and computer issues) that would've likely had its rear wheel(s) come off down the freeway ....and I'll let you fill in the horrible possibilities... He delivers an in-depth inspection and diagnostic report. He goes over his findings with you so you know what's good, great, bad, and/or terrible about the vehicle so you can make an informed decision. He has always been quick to respond and willing to spend time answering questions.

Quality, Professionalism, Patience, Education, and Value…read more John at Auto Team took CARE of my daughter who is local, after I "interviewed" him from a long distance. She got a great job done at a great price. She was nervous, and he was patient and kind, and explained everything, and showed her the "what and why". I'm convinced we've found her a great mechanic, and we're staying.

Wow. What a mistake to bring my car here for repair…read more Warning lights came on suddenly in my 2016 Subaru Outback at 144,900 miles; the brake and the "eyesight" warning light. After doing some research I found the Auto Team. They took the car for the day for "diagnostics". They called and informed me that i needed an oil change and a new battery. The quote was for $608.62, which did include a $160.00 charge for the "diagnosis". When asked, John told me that he was about 90% certain that the work would fix the car. I took the car to Capitol Subaru. The problem was in the braking system, and was repaired at the Subaru garage under an extended warrantee replacement. I can only imagine the hundreds of dollars I might have spent at the auto team as they hunted and pecked at different possible repair solutions. I'm not a mechanic, but even I knew that an oil change and a new battery would solve the problems. So I guess I'm reasonably grateful that the Auto Team only took $167.00 of my money, for no apparent reason other that to look the car over. A strong consideration. The Auto Team seems poised to take $160.00 from you to even look at your car and give you an opinion of a solution. And in my experience, their opinion, means squat. Shabby experience. These guys were not friendly, knowledgeable, professional, or helpful IN ANY WAY.
