The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and I appreciate the welcoming environment the gym provides. However, my experience with the personal training service fell short of what I expected especially considering I paid $420 for a training and meal plan package. From the beginning, I clearly communicated to my trainer that I am a pescatarian and do not eat red meat. Despite this, the meal plan I received included ground beef and other meat options that did not align with my dietary restrictions. This made me feel like my needs were not fully considered or taken seriously. During our training sessions, I often felt that the trainer was distracted. There were several moments when she appeared to be on her phone instead of actively coaching me, correcting my form, or ensuring I was completing my sets properly something especially important for someone like me who is new to structured fitness training. I did not know the trainer personally and came in as a new client hoping for guidance, support, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I did not feel like I received the value I expected based on the price I paid. Haven Fit is a beautiful gym with great potential, but I wish my personal training experience had reflected the same level of care and attention that the facility itself displays.

She started with stretching, warm-up, weight training and ended with stretching. It was a different workout each day. She also paid attention to my form. She was very easy to talk to. Over the year or…read moreso that I was there, I saw amazing improvements to my physique, posture, strength, and overall health. It was the best shape I'd been in since high school. For starters, the gym itself is small but well-equipped. It doesn't have the bloated feeling of big gyms, yet you can get the same quality of exercise in it that you might there. But what really makes EWB are the trainers. My earlier experience there was with a friend and trainer of mine named Diana, who was super cool and knowledgeable and really helps you enjoy working out. When I went there a couple of years later, I connected with a guy named Jonathan. Super knowledgeable both as a trainer and in anatomy and physiology. He was able to keep my technique safe and appropriate and give explanations for why we did things at all times. I was enjoying my experience so much that I started going up to 4 or 5x a week. That's when I had the pleasure of working with Sara and Jenn. Sara was able to keep working out simple and effective, and she always offered great nutritional advice to make sure that I got the biggest return on my investments. Jenn, meanwhile, gave me much needed help with mobility and provided bodywork to ensure that my body was a well-oiled machine while it endured weekly rigor from both training and work (which was also physical for me). When someone didn't have time to see me, the owner, Nicole, would work with me. She challenges you in a way that makes you feel capable, and I owed a lot of growth in confidence to her during my time there. I would highly recommend this establishment and its personnel to anyone serious about making healthy improvements in their life. I still recommend them to friends and colleagues of mine regularly.

Being a mom for the first time and having a physical job was taking a toll on me. I cried at our first meeting because I'd never had a structured workout plan and hated admitting that I didn't really know where to begin. I started with her 2x per week and worked my way up to 4x per week. I was in the best shape of my life when I stayed consistent with my traning. My weight since having a child has been a struggle. I'm 40, it's just harder. Being a busy mom and business owner is stressful but I've stuck with it. What I have gained the most is strength and flexibility that I never had before, even at my lowest weight. Sessions with Jen are one of only thing that I do for myself and I appreciate how supportive and loving she is. Aside from being an excellent trainer she's is just a good person. Kind, compassionate without a judgemental bone in her body. I enjoy my time with her and my workouts. My daughter is now 6 and I continue to see her 2 to 3 hours per week.
