I called as soon as they opened needing 1 tire. He said come in so I got a tow. Get there and he says tire tech quit on him, but he's still gonna take care of me. Recently put in an order for some tires that I really needed for my truck while talking with a manager and agreeing to what he showed me at that time and place. Come to find out the day I walk in that the prices he didn't show me were up to hell and so I kindly said I would go explore more options. Hispanic worker was really kind on canceling the order and helping with everything I asked about, he also let me know that I would be charged a re stock fee on top of my refund which I was fine with. I go in today and the manager tell me that I should've called ahead for a refund? Over the phone he told me that all I needed was a card and so I reply with "no you didn't" and he continues to walk into his office like a child. A grown man I remind you. Won't be coming back, keep my refund. read more

I went to get wheels from them last Wednesday, hoping it would be a good experience similar to what my brothers and I had years ago, but this time I got the entire opposite. They are quick to get you approved. They'll treat you good. They'll answer you questions, show your options, and even "try" to find you the right set, even if it's online. In my experience all was going well, until I got home and took a closer look at the wheels and tires. Rather than admiring the new set, I was hating each and every angle due to the amount of damage the wheels AND tires had. I tried calling the store and corporate, but got no answer. I emailed Jessica, the person who did my paperwork, with pictures of the damage and got no response. The following day, I called corporate multiple times and was able to get through. They told me it was up to the store on what would be the solution to my problem. I went up to the store and sure enough Keith walks out as I was pulling up to tell me the warranty was available for a reason. He agreed to replace the damaged tire, sand down and repaint the damage area on the wheels on Monday. Once Monday comes around, I had multiple things come up that required my full on financial attention, so I'd return the wheels to have the extra money. I called the store early that morning and Keith answered the phone. I told him what I was having to do. Instead of being understanding, he went on about how I hadn't met my minimum term and had to continue paying on the wheels (keep in mind Rent-A-Tire clearly states wheels can be returned at any time). I went to the shop later that afternoon to return the wheels. I went in and Keith was at the counter. I told him i was there to return their wheels, but he wasn't buying it. After that, he tried to give me a hard time the entire time I was in the store. I stood there waiting for him to get to my car (no other customer was there but me), but instead sat there talking on the phone about nothing work related. He kept me waiting for 10 minutes straight. I told him I'd need to be out of there in 30mins and he responded with "oh I ain't going to have you out of here in 30.. it's going to be over an hour for sure" and went back to talking on the phone. I put my keys on the counter and told him I'd be back in an hour to pick up my car and left. When I got back, he was pulling my car out of the shop and left it there, walking away without saying anything. I asked him if it was ready and briefly turned to say "yeah..." and threw the deuces. Not only is the product bad, their customer service is even worse. No respect from in-store reps or corporate personnel. Please, save your money and buy your wheels somewhere else. I needed a new tire so I stopped into this shop. The sales people were extremely pushy telling me I needed to replace all four immediately. (as if I was going to veer of the road at any minute due to an exploded tire" I decided to go else where and upon inspection they only suggested to replace my two front tires and told me the the other two were in pretty good condition. I don't think I would go back here unless I absolutely needed to for financial reasons as they offer payment plans for tires. read more

The only reason to go to this place is if you absolutely need the payment plan for your tires, which unfortunately at the time, I did. The people selling the tires do not explain the conditions of the rental to you until after the tires are on your car and it is too late. They do not describe your options for taking the tire insurance or not. Also, during the rental, you must pay $20 for each two weeks to cover damage to the tires. This was not mentioned until after the tires had been placed on the car. Summary: Rent-a-Tire does not tell you the entire purchase story until after the work is complete. So, I filled the online app, was "approved" (which i do know means absolutely nothing lmao), got a text & email to come in to the 12825 Josey lane location. Showed up same day 11/27, Got helped eventually from a mexican dude with hat backwards, goatee. I asked for a card, got Michael Banda 's card, as the "manager" there. Spent a good half hour advising him what i wanted. Right off, they had no stock or inventory that he spoke of. I specifically told him two types of wheels. He looked quickly, couldnt help me. So long story short, gave him my name, number and specs of what i wanted. He wrote it down on some pad, he promised he would get back to me with more info, details, a list of wheels etc. That day if not on Saturday, which was the next day. Never heard from him or anyone else. You would think to these fools that every sale would count? Apparently not. Really bad to waste my time if he was never was going to put in the work, call me back or anything? I even paid off an account as a former customer. They are not upfront about what they have and don't have. They don't respect your time. Disorganized and misrepresented the sale. Had me pay a deposit on something that was not even in the store. Didn't communicate I would need to come back the next until after swiping my card. Told me he couldn't refund my money until 3-5 business days. Left empty handed with money floating around. I have to update my review.... While washing my car, I took a good look at my new rims and discovered that they WERE NOT new. There were several minor scratches on three of the rims and I know for sure that I have not rubbed against anything. To top that off, the fourth rim had a HUGE gouge and had been RE-DIPPED I called and asked why I was sold used rims, but signed a contract stating that they were new. I was told that there must have been a glitch in the system. They did replace them at no charge and transferred my original contract to the new contract. I was there for four hours this time. I received no apologies for the inconveniences. I do not recommend this location and I regret doing business with them. read more

Worst place to go for rims or tires. I received a text for a "special discount" went in and they acted like they knew nothing about it. Then proceeded to try to charge me $2500 for rims and a set of used tires. I was able to get them to come down to $1800 but that's just where more problems begin. They install the wheels and tires and I take off and one day later my tpms system shows an error. So I went back and got that taken care of. A couple weeks later they double charge me taking $500 instead of the normal $250 every two weeks that I should be paying. Then turn around and tell me that the payment plan we set up for me to be paid off in 120 days so it would be "same as cash" is off by $40 a week so I won't be paid off by then. I got them to rectify that and adjust to where I should be paid off by the 120 days and after the 120 days here we are and guess what? They charged me for $500 AGAIN! do not use this rim shop. I regret I ever even came in. They are scam artists and their customer service is terrible. read more

Andrea did an excellent job at assisting me in finding some wheels for my 07 Nissan Altima. The store did not have the specific rims I wanted in stock in a 20 inch, but she was able to call the warehouse and have them delivered to the store within less than an hour. I was out the door with new rims and tires very quickly. She is very helpful and cares about the happiness of her customers. The service here at the JOSEY LN location in Farmers Branch sucks they recently changed management and my experience was horrible. I was there on time for my 11am appointment, keep in mind I was waiting an hour before even getting serviced. With my management skills if we don't cover something I would simply show empathy and sympathy and then break the bad news with offering the best assistance possible. Instead manager Sannica yelled and screamed and literally said "WHAT YOUR WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT GIVE YOU A $100?..NOPE THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN." Keep in mind I just made a payment of $91.
