I reached out to Wheel Repair Solutions because my front tire hit a huge pothole on the freeway causing my Lexus rim to be bent. Christian was the senior technician that spoke to me about my factory rim and the damage from the pothole. He fixed the rim and it was better than new. It looked beautiful and perfect. When I took the rim to get the tire mounted I discovered small pin hole air bubbles coming from the rim during the water test. I took the Lexus rim back and Christian worked on it again. After the welding we discovered that the entire wheel was completely compromised from the high speed impact from the road hazard. Christian wanted to continue to work on the rim, but at this point I said safety would be to just give up on the rims integrity. The team at Wheel Repair Solutions kindly refunded my money. After all the worked they did I was happy with their efforts. This gesture was above and beyond. I was so grateful. Thank you so very much. I initially brought my 2013 Dodge Avenger R/T in for a four-wheel alignment, tire balancing, and rotation. During my first visit, I was told they could not properly perform the alignment because there was an issue with the left-front steering knuckle and that it needed to be replaced. I took care of the steering knuckle issue and returned to have the alignment completed. On my second visit, I was told that my inner and outer tie rods needed to be replaced before the vehicle could be properly aligned. This immediately concerned me because both the inner and outer tie rods had recently been replaced and were new. When I questioned the recommendation, the explanation changed. I was then told there were bolts that were loose and needed to be tightened. I asked why they couldn't simply tighten the bolts and complete the alignment, and I was quoted an additional $150. I also experienced inconsistent pricing regarding their shop fee. I was initially told the shop fee would be $10. Later, I was told it would be $20. I did not receive a satisfactory explanation for why the amount changed. After two visits, I had been told about a steering knuckle issue, then that recently replaced inner and outer tie rods needed replacement, and then that the issue involved loose bolts requiring another $150. Combined with the shop fee changing from $10 to $20, I became uncomfortable authorizing any additional work. I purchased the alignment and four-wheel tire balancing service through Groupon. After I explained my experience to Groupon, Groupon issued me a full refund in Groupon Bucks rather than requiring me to return to the shop. This review reflects my personal experience with this location. Based on that experience, I will not return. I recommend that customers get a second opinion before authorizing additional repairs and ask for all additional charges and shop fees in writing before agreeing to the work. **UPDATE:** Since posting my original review, the owner of 3 Way Tires & Wheels has attempted to contact me regarding my concerns. I appreciate the effort to reach out, but at this point I had already decided to take my vehicle to another alignment shop. The other shop was able to successfully complete the alignment **without any additional repairs being necessary**. They also did **not** need to perform the $150 bolt-tightening work that I had been told was necessary at 3 Way Tires & Wheels. This experience with the second shop further reinforced my decision not to return to 3 Way Tires & Wheels. My vehicle has now been aligned successfully, with no additional repairs required.
