Horrible experience from start to finish. I called two different locations asking about an alignment, and not once did anyone ask whether my vehicle has lane departure assistance. I arrived at the store, they looked at my car, took it into the shop, and still no one mentioned it. After wasting about 10 minutes, they finally came out and told me they couldn't complete the alignment because of the lane departure system. If that's a dealbreaker, why wouldn't they ask that over the phone or at least before taking my payment and bringing the car back? Then came the refund process, which was another nightmare. They couldn't find me or my vehicle in the system, and after repeating my address and information multiple times over the course of 20+ minutes, I was finally able to leave. Complete waste of time. There were so many opportunities to handle this better, but the entire experience was disorganized and frustrating. Save yourself the headache and just go somewhere else. read more

I'm very frustrated with how this was handled. I was never clearly given a new total before additional work was done, and I did not understand that I had agreed to an extra tire because the employee was mumbling and not clearly explaining the charges. I was told they "couldn't get them to balance" and that the work was already done, so I couldn't leave, but after I paid they said it would still be another 30-40 minutes. That was confusing and felt dishonest. If extra work or charges are being added, customers need to be clearly told what is being done and given the updated total before the work is completed. I was given tires that are far worse quality than what I would have liked to have received and I didn't even pick the new rims (why they had to be some fancy looking thing and not the stock with hubcaps I don't understand) I looked up the Sentry tires they put on and it's a huge downgrade from what I had and reportedly wears out in less than a year...I would have preferred to have gone home and come back when I had enough money to pay for the quality tires that will last me more than a year... read more

I came in just to get air in my tire (for the second time) and asked the gentleman Steven if they could see if maybe there's a leak or something in it and without skipping a beat he asked if I had a few mins now and they can have my tire checked to see (because the psi was HALF what it should and only on 1 tire) and no joke- had me pull in immediately and had my car propped up and tire check / issue (a mf nail -__-) and gave me cost to fix what to expect etc in one swoop. Do not come to this discount tire the people working here are incompetent brought my car in. They said I had some broken parts and they sent me over to a mechanic to get it repaired after I got the repairs done went back to discount tire where they inform me that they had broken another part of my wheel and I had to go back to the mechanic to get it fixed. Do not come here for any reason they will break stuff on your car and lie and say they didn't do it. I ended up spending way more money and time here than I should have. read more

They explained what my issue was over the phone. When I took my vehicle in, they discovered which sensor had a problem and placed into queue to have it fixed. The price was very reasonable. Okay, so this was my last straw with this specific Discount Tire location. About 2 months ago, after a HUGE amount of runaround, double talk and misinformation, I got two tires replaced here. This morning my Tire sensor in one of these tires is completely dead. Made a 12pm appt and showed up 10 mins early. Waited in the lobby for 25 mins with apparently one person assisting customers. Multiple red shirts coming and going, disappearing into the back office, smoking off on the side of the building and walking around in the shop but 1, only 1, working the front. I certainly hope my warranty for the clearly substandard work applies to other Discount Tore locations. Avoid this particular location unless you have a LOT of time to wait and then deal with the BS and runaround. read more

Their service and sales team is a fucking joke. Left my car overnight I had a flat and the other tire probably had a hole too, called them around 8-8:30 , they said they would order my tires and they should be there within 2-3 hours and it would be around $760 for two tires. I'm thinking they've been working on my car the entire time and I get a call at 3pm saying they couldn't pick up my tires from the warehouse. I asked them why am I getting notified after the 2-3 hours and they should have let me know as soon as they found out they couldn't pick them up. I call another discount. It's about 4:30 at this point they said they can get me tires ordered for $580 and I would have to be there by 5:15. I call Discount in the colony that I will be picking up my car to move it over night since it's too much of a risk to drive at night. They tell me it's policy to pull my car in after they close. I told them I have a small child to pick up by 6:30 I need to have my car fixed immediately. They already said they couldn't not get my tires and I had found another store that would. I'm about to leave my job and I get a call from discount the colony again. maybe 5 minutes later and the "senior assistant" says he has some "GREAT NEWS" THEY ACTUALLY HAVE MY TIRES IN STORE. They've had my car since 8am had my car keys since 12pm and at 5:20 they are just now finding out that they actually never needed to order tires and now I can pay $480 for the inconvenience all day . I call my boyfriend. The colony discount calls me back AGAIN. To tell me at 5:30 that my left rear is an "safety issue" So I'm obviously going off on them because they made me wait all day for no reason since they failed to look for my tires and at the last minute they're telling me I have another safety issue with a different wheel. I'm panicking because every shop closes at 6pm and I have a child to get to. I get my boyfriend on the phone with them and come to find out THE TIRES THEY ORDER AND ALSO THE ONES THEY HAD IN STOCK WERE THE WRONG TIRES. THE ONE THING THEYRE SUPPOSED TO TO DO, MATCHING TIRES, YEA THEY COULDNT EVEN DO THAT. WASTED MY TIME ALL DAY BECAUSE A WHOLE TEAM FAILED TO IDENTIFY TIRES AND WAITED 3-6 HOURS TO TELL ME THEY DONT HAVE MY TIRES. I was going to the location because of an engine light in my mom's car due to tire pressure with weather changes. On my way there, something got lodged in one of my tires making a loud noise like the tire was busted. I drove slowly and waited for my turn. It was past their closing time but the staff was very patient and professional. Told me the my tire seemed like it's unrepairable but they'll know more once they take out the foreign object. They took out the blade and explained the next steps. Filled all the tires with air and observed the tire with blade. It did not need fixing and they didn't try to sell me a new tire. I went here to get my tpms fixed. Instead, they sold me on new tires and didnt fix my tpms at all. When my car pulled up, the technician said: I put it in auto relearn but if the light is still on come back for a refund. All I asked was to fix the tpms lights with new sensors, but instead they sold me 4 new tires that I had to get before doing the tpms sensors. I only needed 1 tire but figured I'd do all 4. The tpms was stilll not fixed so i called them and they said "oh our sensors are working fine must be a ecu issue. You should take it to a bmw dealership because we cant help you". They basically told me tough luck oh and they didnt have my old tires anymore so they couldnt refund me. Do not go here. If something goes wrong, management blames you or your car. I called the regional office, and the regional manager SIDED WITH THE STORE. Wtf.. read more

Before he hung up he said "Enjoy your tire when it f*cking blows" because I told him I don't want to buy a new tire. He told me it was a liability to put my tire back on and I had to buy a new tire. I've gone to Discount Tire off and on over the years and don't recall ever having an issue with them, so when it came time to replace my tires, I found that they had the best deal, and made my appointment online. Making the appointment online was seamless and I appreciated the email/text reminders that I received close to my appointment date. Axle helped me the day of my appointment and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and he even provided me with information about my vehicle outside the scope of tires, which I appreciated. I was quoted a time before leaving and they actually finished before. The whole experience went smooth. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because from my experience, including this time, there are never enough frontline associates. I made an online appointment to avoid spending alot of time in there location, but got stuck behind someone making life decisions about tires. Not sure if they push online appointments, but that would really help, and if not, they should have 1 associate for online appointments and one for walk ins to make things go smoother. Other than that, I'll continue to get my tires done here. read more

Update: Now changing my 5 stars to 1 (I'd give 0 if it were an option) after I took my Buick to my hometown and our local tire dealer said not only that there was nothing wrong with my tires, but also that the damaged tire could be easily repaired! This after I was told that "because of the angle the nail entered my tire" it could not be repaired. He then followed it up by saying that because it was an all wheel drive, I would have to replace all four tires to keep from putting stress on my drivetrain. I guess he thought I was too stupid to double check what he told me! Axl lied, and so did his manager. Don't trust these people! Take your business elsewhere! I was in the store today, and it was determined that my damaged tire could not be repaired. I did not have the money to replace the tire, and the workers (Axl was great!) here very graciously put my spare on for me at no charge. I was on my way to work when the "Low Tire Pressures" light came on. I made it to work and was able to add air but of course wanted to confirm there was not a leak or nail in it. I went to Discount Tire, a trusted brand, and the associate immediately tells me that I need new tires. I obviously was not expecting any of this and could not simply have my tires replaced that morning (I have to work!). I let him know that I could come back for the new tires but please let me know if there is an immediate issue, such as a leak or nail. He outright said no. He was going to make me buy all new tires without even taking the car to the back to see if I needed them immediately. Why would I give my business to a company that knowingly sent me on the road with possibly unsafe tires? I went to the NTB next door who confirmed that I don't have any current leaks or nails but I do need new tires. I have an appointment to get new tires tomorrow when I can schedule it with work. I know that you have a business to run but please remind your associates of the human aspect of the job. In that vulnerable moment, I needed professional tire service and the associate wanted money. This Colony discount tire location was once a place I could trust to focus on my tires only but it now appears the manager and staff are actively pushing extras. Lug nuts now? All of a sudden mine were "swollen" and had to be replaced. All 32 of them. None of them were good enough to reuse. When they inspect your car they also try to push windshield wipers. So be prepared to hear about your car needing wipers and new lug nuts. They even display their lug options right at the check in desk. Taking my two car business to NTB, Costco or Firestone for tires now. read more

I have yet to ever get them to fix a flat. every single time I go in they say tire needs to be replaced. I reluctantly went in because I knew there was no way they couldn't fix this nail in my tire. nail was in middle of tire and tires were less than 10k miles. I'm couldn't believe my ears when he said I have some bad news, you need a new tire. wow. I told him you guys never fix tires here. I took it to Walmart and got it fixed for $15 bucks. on my other BMW the dealer said I needed new tires and I told him I always get my tires at Discount Tire as their prices are lowest in town and he said he would match it so I had them replace tires at Discount Tire price so I never have to do business with Discount ever again. Manager "Joe" was so gracious to extend his closing time today. The tire check line was all the way to the neighboring store (Wells Fargo) if you know the area. It's cold outside 41°F to be exact. I'm pretty sure everyone got the warning message CHECK ALL TIRE PRESSURES. He also opened additional bays to make sure his clients were taken care of. I'll be coming back here for sure. read more

I initially ordered tires and created an appointment online. I was called a day or two after indicating that the tires I ordered were winter tires and their life would not last long in the state I live in. Understanding this, I asked the sales associate to assist me in finding a comparable priced tire to arrive prior to my appointment time at the end of the week. He indicated that my only choice were the tires that were in stock at the location, prices $20.00 more per tire than what I originally ordered. Frustrated, I told him to cancel the order and appointment while I researched other options. After searching Discount Tire's website and found tires, in the price range and "non-winter" that fit my needs. The website also indicated that the tires could be delivered prior to the appointment. With this information, I called the store again and was told that any tires that I order off the website will be more than the quoted price because the customer also needs to pay for shipping, which can vary. I was again told that my only option was to purchase the tires in stock at $20.00 more per tire. Seemingly being out of options I chose the tires that were $20.00 more per tire and in stock at the store. Given the lengthy relationship that I've had with Discount Tire as a customer, it wasn't very flexible in terms of options to purchase. read more

Another quandary on what rating to give. I went in because a year old tire on the front with only a few thousand miles on it had started to separate the sidewall from the tread. They insisted it was an alignment problem and wouldnt be covered under warranty. I insisted they were wrong. I finally asked to speak with a manager. The manager never came to speak with me. He went and looked at the tire then told the clerk to replace it for free even though the damage was caused by an alignment issue. I appreciate that they didn't charge me but don't appreciate I had to fight for what was right. I had an alignment three days later and found that both front tires were within specifications. Obviously not an alignment problem. I suspect they just don't expect people to push back on what they are told. read more

So I went to Firestone for some air and explained that I was shot down at discount tire and he agreed the tire was a little bad so they installed a new one for $20 . So Mr Discount Tire , if you are going to bring up a problem then be prepared to introduce a solution instead of just pushing the customer away to look for help with his/her tire elsewhere .
