I just want to share my experience here at this rent a tire. I just recently was looking for 1 tire to replace my flat on my Cadillac size 16" I google the local tire place and I came across rent a tire. I was not to sure for a minute due to the name. Rent a tire. I don't want to rent I want to buy. But I talk to this gentleman name Scott he is the assistant manager. And he explained how this rent to own company works. I said ok I'll come over he said that he will hook me up and With the money I was going to use for the one tire he could give me a new set of wheels and tires. It all sounded to good to be truth. But I like this men tone so I said let me give it a chance. I showed up to rent a tire and sure enough this well endowed gentleman greeted me and I felt really comfortable then and I ask for Scott and he said that me. So long story short he sold me a beautiful set of wheels and tires size 20 chrome! I love them. My car looks absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't be more happy and this was so easy and hassle free. Great customer service and great staff! Scott the assistant manager took really good care of me and got me a brand new set of rims for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 26" I was very happy and satisfying experience. I had gone to others rent a tires starting with the Baytown locations and they just bs me around and didn't even notice I was there. Then I went to the Pasadena store, oh what a waste of time..... So I was about to give up and then as I was driving to my moms house I saw a rent a tire of Uvalde and I said naw why even bother. But I said whatever I'm going to stop just to see how they do business over here. Oh boy was I in for a surprise! I came to this location to get some air a while back and the staff was really friendly and really helpful, they told me anything I need I can just come and get service for free not being a customer! I was helped by Scotty he was very informative,polite and reasonable. He helped me make a decision on what type of rim and tire I will need for my type of vehicle. Manny ,Eduardo the technician and Scott even went to the extent to create an visual for me by putting the rim next to my vehicle so I could make a decision. Last Friday, January 24th, when the road condition were absolutely horrible, I tried for almost two hours to make it to my place of employment. My employer finally called to advise me to turn around and go home. Just then, my tire pressure started dropping rapidly, due to a nail in my tire. I pulled into to Rent A Tire and was assisted by a very nice salesman, Johnny. He had my flat repaired in 20 minutes and then would not accept any payment from me. The employees there were are very nice. I hate to think what would have happened if I would have ended up on the side of the road with a flat tire and in the cold, icy weather. When I first rented my rims and tires it was on Dec. 31st 2011 for my 2000 Nissan Maxima. I rented some 18 inch tires and rims. On 1-6-2012 I had a wreak and it messed up my car so when the insurance check came on 2-1-2012 I wrote the check over to my dealer and purchased a 2004 Ford Escape. So that was yesterday I had to get new rims because 18 inch rims would not look good on the new vehicle so I upgraded them to 20 inch rims and tires. They took the 18 inch tires back with no problem I just had to do a new contract. Hey everyone my experience with Uvalde rent a tire location was great from the start A plus services, very professional all the staff was great with being patient with me because I'm a Lil pickie lol! But the manager scott was awesome we put rims and tires on my bmw 750li I wasn't satisfied so it was no problem with changing them and making my issue completely right with different rims and new better brand of tires. Five stars!!! when i arrived at this location i had no clue what to get. From the minute i walked in the staff was professional and helpful. Scott was very imformative and knew exactly what would look good on my vehicle.
