So when I needed tires I really had no choice but to bring my business here. Richard Villa. I believe is the store manager and assisted me with my $3,000 purchase. He was very snake like, mumbled alot and couldn't look at you in the eyes as you signed your contract. He was not very friendly and rushed us in and out of the building. Now comes the bi weekly payments. I had told them I would come in person to pay every other saturday when I got paid. Did they listen? Nope! Every friday they would try and withdraw funds from my bank account.I would get a phone call saying my payment didn't go through. I had to repeat myself til I was blue in the face that of course it didn't go through because I did not get paid until Sat! I finally gave in to automatic payments because they would take the payment anyways and I would pay in person and I would have to wait 5 days until I got my money back from the bank. Fast forward to yesterday. I met a rent a wheel employee. I go on to tell him how horrible my experience has been with his company. He tells me that the store manager talks crap about his customers. Trains the employee's to overwhelm the customers, talk fast and get them in and out of the building. Please do not be foolish as I have and give this place your business! read more

The service here is good but they don't honor the things you signed and pay for. I purchased a set of rims from and was very polite and helpful. The rims were for my 2004 GMC Yukon, and around the end of February 2018 the car was in an accident and eventually totaled out. I paid for insurance on my wheels and I called both the Las Cruces and Albuquerque stores to submit my Claim. It took approximately over 3 months before they finally figured out what needed to be done, and I was told repeatedly that the district manager was trying to reach me which was a lie. The whole scenerio continued until the end of May and while I was planning my mother's funeral( she died April18th and we buried her in Phila in May) the staff at the Las Cruces store were constantly rude and I continually told them the insurance should have covered it and they still couldn't properly handle the situation for me. The DM never called me and finally a gentleman at the Las Cruces store said the the DM Shane Martel said he needed my insurance card and the police report or documentation stating that the car was totaled and I sent it in via email to the Las Cruces store. Again I still never received any further guidance on the progress of the situation until I found out that the DM Shane Martel charged off my account and stated that I stole the rims and I provided the documentation that they asked for. I will never deal with this company again and I'm going to take this straight to corporate, because they don't honor anything and now I have some negative stuff against me due to this. read more

Based on prior reviews was hesitant about calling for pricing. Spoke to Fransisco whom is their new Store Mgr. As I was looking for pricing for some rims and tires for my son's 2004 Mustang. Fransisco was polite and prompt with pricing, details and payment options, and has followed up 2 times since. I am honestly about 30 days from a descision, but after calling other places for 1 wk. And not getting a response/follow up will definetly be giving rent a wheel my business. It was refreshing to speak to someone who cares about the inquiring customers. read more

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE... and here's why. I called a day in advance to pick up tires from out of state, as I was trying to pick up a truck that I had purchased down here in New Mexico. I was told that we were all set and that I could come pick up my 4 shiny new wheels. Not only would they not let me take the tires because I was an out of stater, I drove 5 FUCKING HOURS to this rat shit hole just to be told "sorry. I didn't know about the out of state policy" even though I told this mother fucker the day before that I was driving from Arizona. LEARN YOUR POLICIES SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN AGAIN. Today was the second time we've visited this store- and never again.. The first time it didn't seem as if the staff cared if they sold us anything or not.. We'll everyone can have a bad day so we thought we would try again... I'm not positive if it was a total discrimination or what- I'm not one to throw the race card but it was obvious; we non Hispanic customers; weren't their priority today!! My husband wants new tires and rims.. he asked for 17's and the dude behind the counter said he didn't have much of anything other than 20;s.. Not I can locate them- nothing- my husband asked what would a set cost- even though we aren't INTERESTED IN 20'S.. he said about $3200 or $136.00 a week- ARE YOU SERIOUS FOR RIM AND TIRES IN A SIZE WE DO NOT WANT.. My husband- being nice as usual- stated ok let me think about it.. ok whatever the dude said.. He acted as if he was high- no real concern if he sold us a set of anything... yet the non English speaking customers- OF WHICH IM NOT DISCRIMINATING HAD HIS ENTIRE ATTENTION... HMMM.. CUSTOMER SERVICE - METHINKS NOT... Maybe more training is needed or a different staff!! read more

Manager experience was bad. We got messed up rims and asked for them to knock down the price 200 due to we had to take time off of work to go get it resolved 4 times as well as the car was very unstable. Manager customer service is horrible. He didn't care that his store gave us messed up rims and it took them 4 times to finally get us ordered new rims (still not in) Now waiting on the district manager to call. Also asked for money back to go get rims elsewhere since not pleased with business manager refused. There is no ownership with this business. read more

never go to rent a wheel! they make it seem like you're getting a great deal. i bought a set of 22'z , its only been 6 months since i purchased them and my tires keep going low. i purchased the warranty and still with that they charge for every little thing, i got nitro instead of air cause they told me it works better, yeah it seems to but now rent a wheel charges $21.00 everytime my tires go low.! and my tires go low like every two weeks ! come on now rent a wheel its not the customers fault, you should've let us know in the beginning if the size of the tires and rims we choose is ok for our vehicles! but no they dont tell you if there could be possible problems, they just want to make that $!!! so now they tell me the reason my tires keep going low is cause my car is to heavy and that i would need to down grade to 20'z! what! shouldn't that information have been given to me before i purchased the 22'z? ! so yeah , dont trust rent a wheel in las cruces! i rather go to el paso or some other place that is credible! read more
