Visited for a Jeep charity event. I already owned a Wrangler and wanted to see if I could trade in my Ford Edge for a Gladiator. The sales kid was eager to please but the managers could care less. I am glad it didn't work out because I went back to my dealership & got a way better deal on another Wrangler instead and way better treatment. From this experience, they don't care about you. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere before purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. My experience with the finance department was extremely disappointing.Lindsay and Ozzie are frauds and very unprofessional. I was given information about my monthly payment that did not match the final terms of my loan. When I contacted the finance company directly, I was told there was nothing they could do. I feel that the process was misleading and handled very poorly. Specifically, I would caution buyers to be very careful when dealing with the finance department. My experience was not transparent, and I felt misled during the signing process. On a positive note, the sales team was professional and pleasant to work with. Frank in sales was straightforward and easy to deal with, and I appreciate that. However, due to the finance experience, I would not recommend this dealership. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the Consumer Fraud Division because of how this was handled. Update: It has been one week and still no refund of my $1000. Bad experience all around. 1. Car salesperson, Ashley, said that I would get 23,500K for my car but then on the document it was listed as 22K in two different places. Ashley said it was a typo which is highly unlikely considering it was listed that way in two places. If it is a typo then the finance manager is extremely careless and I wouldn't want to do business with a finance person who doesn't check their numbers. 2. I was required to pay 1K to have a car transferred to the lot, just to see it. No other lot has ever required me to do this but I was willing to put down a deposit knowing that it would be refunded if we didn't like the car. It should be noted that receipt says "Sale" when it should have said "Deposit," which is misleading. 3. The reason we didn't buy the one on the lot is because the passenger door wouldn't open. Very strange that they would not realize that the door was broken before advertising it for sale. 4. We left the dealership at 7:15 p.m. At 10:55 a.m. The next day I asked Ashley, via text which is how we were communicating, to cancel the car delivery and to refund our money. This is because another dealership I was working with called me that morning to let me know they had a Jeep with my specifications. There were more "bells and whistles" on their car than the one Ashley was going to show me, and the bottom line price was less so of course we bought that one. 5. Ashley never responded to my text to refund the deposit which is very poor customer service but, more concerning, our deposit was not cancelled. I waited 48 hours and disputed the charge with my bank. 6. I texted Ashley to let her know and realized she blocked me. If she had responded to my first text in a professional manner I would have let go of the broken car door, the two "typos," and even the delayed refund, and would not be leaving a review. How businesses handle losing business says a lot about their integrity and Ray Jeep failed on this one. AWFUL customer service. Will never recommend this dealership. Purchased a Used Jeep. Bought extended warrant. Asked for one specific up to 100k miles and later found out they switched to a lower warranty plan. Jump ahead 5 years all my manufacturer warranties had expired and after some less than suspicious recommendations each time I brought the Jeep in for service amongst other issues, I switched to another Jeep dealer, and advised that "in case" although the manufacturer warranty was expired, I had an extended. Well, no one could find it, I pulled paperwork and did indeed purchase the crappy warranty they switched me to for 2K. I get a call from Bob the finance "manager" and he said woops you are not covered, yes, we took your money but never sent in to Mopar. I will refund you. I don't want a refund, I need my warranty, The 2k is not going to replace my engine if it blows tomorrow. I have filed several formal complaints. All I need is my warranty. After speaking with representatives for more than a week and a half, when I actually came in to speak with individuals about obtaining a car loan it was nothing like the representative suggested. They did not have a Fresh start program they did not put in any effort to work with an individual. Even though on the phone they told me they would accept the $1,000 down payment when it came down to it they wanted $7,000 down payment for a $4,000 vehicle financing. Called just to see if they could give me a diagnosis on my vehicle that's only 2 1/2 years brand new making a weird noise on my exhaust valve I believe the guy was extremely rude and was already saying how much it would be and I asked "wouldn't be under the warranty?" Full disclosure, this is my wife's vehicle which I admittedly do not drive much, but I purchased the van elsewhere over in Kenosha and have been consistently taking it here for service since we moved to the area. I keep coming back because they are always honest, efficient and the workmanship from the techs is on point. I generally prefer the quality of the techs at OEM shops over independents for this reason. They are just flat out better most of the time. Every time they hand me the keys back the interior is flawless, they send it through the wash, all work completed is throughly explained and a hyperlink with the associated PDF is emailed to me. Where to even start... This company, from their customer service and beyond has been nothing short of incredibly amazing! I literally cannot say enough great things about all the employees I've worked with. The paint on my Jeep was starting to bubble. Ray was able to repaint the affected areas, and went above and beyond in the 'repairs' when they encountered additional issues and the overall aesthetics of my vehicle. They really took their time in making sure I was satisfied with the results. I had a few concerns that they addressed IMMEDIATELY. I just needed an oil change, tire rotation and filters change, along with a dummy light that was on, so I decided to take my car here as my parents live in spring grove. I made a 9am appointment so that my parents can pick me up and we can go out to breakfast. I was about to call the the service department to see what was going on and how much longer then I got a text at 1245 asking if I wanted additional services done to my car. The answer is no because I don't have time I want my car shouldn't take 4 hours for an oil change and rotation. Once I decline those services, online, it gave me a 5pm readiness for me car. I messaged my advisor Roberto, when is the soonest I can have my car and he is saying since they have the part in stock 5pm. I was confused and said I would need a loaner car and would be brought back tomorrow. He called and told me they went ahead and are FIXING my dummy light problem without telling me anything about it!!! He's telling me this is a 6 hour job. I am telling him this is something you call and ask permission to do on a persons car. Roberto then told me well you got picked up so I thought it was ok. Absolutely not. Where was the communication?!?! When I picked up my car I spoke with Ron, and he was nice and apologized for what happened. Ron said the key word and that's communication. All the advisor had to do was call me and I would of scheduled it another time. Seemed like he was more focus on getting the commission on a warranty covered awd replacement. I have never serviced at Fox Lake before and will never again. Schaumburg is my normal dealer location as I live closes to. I've learned I rather spend the extra money at the Schaumburg dealer as no matter how busy they are, which they are all the time, they always have time to call or text you and never had them do work without authorizing it from me. My husband and I have been looking to purchase a Ram 1500. Now we have been deciding between a brand new express, or maybe a big horn with lower miles. Part 1: Grant brought a new (2018) Ram 1500 Quad Cab to my house to test drive which was awesome. It was the day before it turned really cold (-23C). I was not sure on the vehicle, so I continued to think about it. Part 2: A few days later my husband wanted to take a look at the new red Ram, and look at a Blacked out Express (2018) while we were there. In total we looked at 3 Rams the night we went to Ray's. We decided on one, and tried to negotiate, but neither the salesman or finance manager would budge much. They were so offended that I tried to negotiate the price and just expected me to take the price they said. It was listed at $30,200 and we agreed on $30,000. He was visibly pissed off at giving me the $200, and made me well aware of that. The finance manager came back with the numbers and rattled off $33,000 plus tax title license and APR. What?!?! We agreed on 30K...now its 33K? I showed him a new Big Horn at Gurnee Dodge for $31,800. For 1) why did the price jump up 3K while we were doing paperwork and 2) why would I pay more for an Express than a new Big Horn? He told me they just changed the prices on the Internet within the 5 minutes we had agreed on the 30K price. I showed him the screen shot of the previous price and he insisted he could NOT give me the vehicle price that it was listed at 5 minutes ago because he didn't have the authority. He would not sell for the agreed upon $30,00 or even $30,200. They were RUDE! They wanted us out: The sales girl Ashley had to get one of the trucks from a muddy lot, so she tried to use that as a selling point...saying you made me walk through the mud tonight and you're not going to buy the truck now? I told her I will sign right now for 30K. She said, "But the truck costs 33K". WTF! The finance manager then said...you can't even decide which features or color you like cause you drove 3 of our vehicles. And you have bad credit that we have to work with. I realize I have bad credit but I do have a pre-approval through my own lender (which they tried to talk me out of and say they could get me a better rate...but I said no), so that was really none of their concern because I had the offer in hand through Capital One Navigator. To be honest it was total waste of time and kind of embarrassing, I drove 50 minutes and not only they changed the price of the vehicle but also, they were rude. I got screwed on a warranty service. First they didn't let me read what I was signing on their iPad for a service contract that was told would include oil, filters and tire rotations for 36,000 miles/3 years. After getting a print out of my lease contract it showed 20,000/2 years and no tire rotation included. I called and had another contract drew up stating the correct terms and yet again I was given not what I signed. In addition I was lied to about where I can take my car to get the service done. After getting the warranty info in the mail it states it must be taken to that specific dealer. I live 3 hours away from that dealer. They have a sneaky finance team. I have all the proof and I will be doing what I need to do to get my money back and never purchase a vehicle from them again. read more

We had to drive almost 2 hours to get here and they told us when we arrived that the mechanic had locked the keys in his tool box and they couldn't show it to us. They could have let us know this before we drove all the way out here, but didnt seem to have any problem wasting our time with this. They offered no apologies, no solution to the issue, not even a discount on the car we were coming to see. They just told us to come back tomorrow. I am appalled that a business would treat customers so disrespectfully. They took advantage of my time and put my family at risk in this dangerous time to travel.
