Meatsweats

Stopped in here for a bite before heading out of town after a concert - and I'm so glad we did. This BBQ was absolutely out of this world! I went with the Meatsweats Combo so I could try a little bit of everything, and it did not disappoint. From the pulled pork to the jerk chicken, brisket, ribs, and hot link - every single bite was packed with flavor. Everything slapped, and the BBQ sauce? Hands down the best I've ever had. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and stop here. You will not be disappointed. The spot is small but cozy, with three indoor tables that seat up to four each. There are also three picnic-style tables outside by the smoker where they're working their magic.

The last time I went to Ray Rays BBQ Clintonville, there were at the Ace of Cups. The new Clintonville location inside of Fusian that replaced the closed Wizard of Za Pizza. My friend and I shared the Meat Sweats platter with all the BBQ meats along with the Jerk Chicken. All the meats were delicious and filling. I did have Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans and took the Dry Rub Kettle Cooked Chips for a later snack and loved the Dry Rub Kettle Chips. Excellent service and inside is small but has outdoor seating there the smoker is. I will be going back to Ray Rays BBQ Clintonville again real soon.

Best BBQ I've had outside of Texas. Loved there for 6 years and tried everything from Houston to Austin. The meat sweat platter is a great way to try everything on the menu and I recommend it all. Nuff said, go try this spot and enjoy!!

A few items have been added to the menu and they have specials from time to time. In fact, they offer their smoked wings right now during tailgate season and they have a Buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese slaw on top. They still have the banana pudding and another dessert from Bite This by Annie. Service is still great! This month I've had both the wings and the ribs. Still A+ in my book.

Ray Rays is the perfect stop to cure any BBQ cravings! I love how easy and accessible it is. They are fast, consistent and reasonably priced for what you get!! This last time my husband and I were craving bbq and wanted a bunch of meat (no better way to say it) and so we decided to get the meat sweats box, a side of mac & cheese and waffle fries! The box came with SO MUCH meat and it all was so good. We were shocked by the chicken and the sausages. Such a broad range of options and it lasted us almost two meals. The fries went quick (they are my favorite and I'm not even a huge fry girl) even taking it to go they held up well. My husband loves the Mac I don't even know if I got a bite in before it was gone. Service was super friendly when I picked up as well. Can't wait for our next BBQ craving!!

It's been years since I've had Ray Ray's! It's a food truck in high street! They have several locations! I just ordered online as soon as they opened at 1130AM. Easy pick up. Nice, friendly, & chill vibe. They do have parking and seating outside. I ordered the 1/2 slab of baby back ribs, small sides of mac n cheese, collard greens, & cornbread cobbler. Everything was great! I was like definitely recommend. My brother actually inspired me to go since he's been getting it every week. Go check them out!

Had dinner at Ray Rays Hog Pit in Columbus Ohio. Got the ribs and the meat sweats. Not the best I ever had but not the worst. No Guy sign, it was a food truck in a parking lot.

Always good. This was the original RayRays truck we discovered but live in Powell so shifted to that truck for a few years which was consistently average or much worse and as of April 2024 has left Powell and tbh I don't mind because going back to this location is right back to that high quality awesome brisket we haven't had since going to this location years ago. The workers are nice and know what they're doing. And they actually have had all the options available when I've gone even at like 7pm once unlike the what I experienced at Powell.

Sausage Ray Rays Hot Link and Scratch Mac-N-Cheese

Heated about this truck for some time. Yesterday was the day to get some. It was cold out so I had to order fast. I was very happy with my choice. Go the sausage sandwich. This was on a huge bun and that bun was strong. The Mac - n -cheese was spot on and cheesy. I would differently go back and try more things.

Came all the way from DC! The meat sweats platter aka big back special lmao ! In DC this platter would easily cost 50-70 dollars sides not included. I also had the backed beans and was blown away! The hot links and the pulled pork were the best part. Can't beat the Coca-Cola in the glass bottle either! Definitely check it out

This BBQ place stands alone as one of the best places to eat out and is Buckeye fans place to go. Before the game pick up your tail gate order. After the game stop by and enjoy some of the best bbq in the state. I loved the food and will definitely recommend the ribs and the sides. The jerk chicken has a unique flavor and was a great addition to the pork feast. Try it all as it's great food. Eat outside is my recommendation as the inside is a little cramp but the bar area is good for tow. Larger party's should find a spot in the table area. Enjoy Alwayspickingsocal

Best BBQ in Columbus for sure. I'll fight people over the Wagyu when it's on the menu.

You walk in the door and it smells just like heaven if heaven was an amazing barbecue place. Keep walking forward and you can enjoy the historic walls and wood floors and when you get to the counter, they know all the stuff. You can try your stuff, but if you need some advice, they got some good ones. We got a sampler, drums, and a brisket sandwich. They have some delicious barbecue options from spicy to very velvet, smooth and sweet to the Kansas City mustard style. The people were friendly they were efficient. They got us exactly what we ordered, the service was great. The price wasn't too bad either Certainly willing to return here. This is some yummy stuff.

I visited with a friend for lunch, purchased the recommended selection, and we sat down to eat. and boy did we eat! But, despite my best efforts, I was not able to vanquish all the food that was on my plate. Wow. I placed all the leftovers in it to go box and it made two meals for later, I was quite surprised. The food here is delicious and I found it to be quite the bargain. Definitely coming back for more. There are lots of barbecue restaurants in Columbus, but Smoked On High truly stands out as exceptional.

That evening our group had several sandwiches- Pulled Pork, Jerk Chicken, Hot Link and the 1/2 lb Fries x2 with the Sweet BBQ sauce I must say I have found my go to BBQ spot so much so that I went back the next day and got all the same for our work lunch group Now all I thought about was more BBQ from the pit couldn't wait for them to open Wednesday to try the Wing Special And again yum. The biggest surprise was how large the wings were not some 2 bite wing but a real hand and mouth full Next time I'll take pictures cause I was to anxious to eat this trip. Going for the ribs next, not expected to be disappointed can't wait The guys in the truck were very pleasant and helpful with me ordering as I made mistakes each visit and one even remembered me from getting there too early and saying how I would be back. It's very small, and most people appeared to get take out. Per usual, we ordered A LOT... and all at one time. That was our mistake. I recommend ordering your food a few skewers at a time so the food doesn't have time to get cold. They offer a warming grate, but it doesn't do much. Initially, I loved the skewers. However, they use the same seasonings on everything... which gets a little overwhelming. I really enjoyed the green beans, chicken, wings, potatoes, and beef; my husband enjoyed the prawns and lamb (I don't like either meat, so I didn't try those). The hotdog was 'ok'. It has been a while since I have been here, so I am open to going back and trying more items.
