He said for $130 he would give me a detail that would be showroom worthy. That included shampooing the seats & carpet, wash, vacuuming, a good wax, and would shine everything. The guys showed up to detail it yesterday (7/15) and said they would be done in about an hour. I said "wow, you'll have the seats and everything done?". He said "yes". They called in about an hour and said it was done, I asked "you cleaned the seats & everything?". He said "oh wait give me a few more minutes and they will be." I went down to check it out and he was using some kind of spray cleaner in a can and a rag to clean the seats. He said Orenthal was sick and that he had the shampooer in his van, that they were just filling in for him. I had to point out a lot of things that they missed. Dirt still in spots (inside & outside), some stuff was shined and other things weren't. Stuff that was shined was only partially shined (streaked). Carpets & seats didn't get shampooed of course. I would say I paid $130 for MAYBE a $75 dollar job at the most. I messaged Orenthal to tell him how disappointed I was and guess what.....he never even messaged me back. Lately there has been more and more lack of attention to the cars as they come in. 2 operators in the bay and 1 could not wait to run back into the office. The one operator will barely brush the one side of the car and the does a little better. One side shoots a fast spray of the wand and the other may or may not spray at all. I pay for this service. It is not like I am getting a favor because it is not part of my subscription. Also, more and more finding that I have to walk to several vacuum stations to find detail towels not in the dirty bin. The entire front side was out. I was going to cancel my service as there are so many options for subscription wash companies but I want to give them another month and see if it gets better. I do go at least 1 or 2 times a week as it is in route to my gym.
