Well I walked in and right away we met a great salesman Marvin. He was easy to talk too!!! ( It did help that I already had in mind what I wanted and I had the app to save what I was looking for) Marvin showed us some options and at first I was like nahhhh don't like this material or the color isn't right, but then we saw a lot of furniture that matched our taste and color!!!! The very first sofa was on the top floor but it wasn't my color( I wanted blue) We came across a couch that was perfect but I wanted another option in which Marvin understood the assignment and although it was a struggle to choose, We finally settled on the beige couch the very first one with the blue accents!!!!!! I ya so plushy and well BEAUTIFULLLLLLK, we were in love as soon as we sat on it!!! Marvin allowed us time to decide and helped us pick the right insurance for our furniture!!!! He was very comfortable to talk to and very personable!!! I LOVE THAT IN PEOPLE!!! Especially in salesman!!!! STAY AWAY! I cannot say strongly enough that dealing with Raymour and Flanigan should be avoided at all costs! They are extremely unprofessional. I purchased an expensive reclining sofa from them and one of the switches which raises and lowers the sofa broke. When I reached out to the store, I was told to contact their repair service in New Jersey where the phone rings and rings and nobody picks up. You then must leave a message...After several messages, sending them a photo, and paying in advance, I finally arranged to have a technician come and replace the switch. When the technician arrived he said he was sorry but he didn't have the switch and I would be called to reschedule. He left after only 10-15 minutes. That was on Dec 16th, 2025. After never hearing back, I reached out on nine (9!) separate occasions and no one ever returned my calls. I then had to go back to their Union Square location in NYC where I had previously emailed with their "customer service" only to be told that someone from the repair service would call me the following day. When that never happened (surprise!) I emailed Ms. Walker in "customer service" who wrote back: "Good Afternoon As per the service department, we re not able to order the needed piece. Regards" I then inquired: "Would Raymour and Flanigan have any suggestions how I might go about getting my sofa repaired?' And the reply came back: "You can check on google" That was yesterday, January 9, 2026. Oh, and one other thing: When the sofa was originally delivered, it came in black, not the mahogany brown color that had been ordered. Purchased a 5000 Ivy Ridge bedroom set. They came and assembled and we noticed the lack of support for the mattress. They sent someone back to look at it and said the extra holes for more support legs was normal and not needed. One year and three weeks later the beds little support legs all broke! We contacted Raymour & Flannigans to have them say out of warranty by 3 weeks. Nothing we can do. We can pay for a repair guy. They will not stand behind there products. Even though they Looked again and documented that there was not enough support from day number one ,they do not care!! Very poor customer service. Terrible customer service!! Paid for white glove delivery of rug and it came with holes and rips all throughout the packaging exposing the rug (so who knows what it touched before arriving)! The people delivering essentially dumped it just inside my front door and rushed me into signing the acceptance of delivery so I didn't even have time to inspect it before they left. After realizing the issues and calling the showroom, they basically told us that we'd have to bring it to the showroom for them to inspect it for anything to be done, negating the whole point of white glove delivery! read more

I bought a recliner chair for my mother. Their payment system was down, so paying took hours and delivery was so difficult. I had to deal with them on the phone to arrange delivery and that became a full time job for me to manage. On the phones they were wildly incompetent. I would recommend going pretty much anywhere else if you need any furniture or mattresses. This place will steal hours of your time. On 3/28/25 contacted R&F for a new remote for a lift chair for my Mother (still in warranty). They finally sent a technician on 4/24/25. I took off work to meet with the rep. The technician did not have the remote in stock and said it would take 2-3 weeks to get a new one. Ok, I can handle that. He said they would contact me to set up a time to install. Fast forward to 7/8/25. We still do not have a remote. My wife called on 7/7/25 and was told they would have to research and someone would call back. 7/8/25, my wife calls again because no contact. My mistake for choosing to buy a bed from R&F. I should have known better and gone to a speciality bedding store or Macy's, who was having major sales. I haven't slept in 2-1/2 weeks and am awaiting an exchange because of a deep depression that developed within two nights! I was very disappointed with my experience at Raymour and Flannigan at the Yonkers location. I was mislead by Marcelino with their return policy. He told me I had 3 days to return the furniture and after many attempts to speak with the manager Domonic, I finally was able to speak with him and was told they would make an exception with a 25% restocking fee plus delivery fee which is unacceptable!! Domonic said he would contact his district manager and he would get back to me as of today and I still haven't heard! With this bad experience I would not recommend anybody to do business with them. Stopped by this Raymour & Flanigan location to check out some loveseats. I was so impressed with Randy Brown who waited on me. He really knew his stuff! Not only was he able to direct me to the pieces of furniture that were more firm to sit on, but he also knew the differences in what made one couch versus another more firm in terms of how they were manufactured. If you want an extremely knowledgeable salesman, I would definitely ask for Randy Brown the next time you are in this store. I was only doing a drive by and appreciated that Randy was not pushy in the least. He is the quintessential salesman. Highly recommend asking for him if you are in the store! read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE UNION SQ. RAYMOUR & FLANIGAN Don't take my word for it, just look at the facts of how they treated my partner and I: 1. On October 31, 2022, staff took our order incorrectly and when I noticed they claimed to correct it but actually failed to. 2. When we made the order, we were given an estimated shipping time of 10 days. On the day it was supposed to be delivered they called to say it actually wasn't available and gave no new estimated delivery date. 3. Weeks went by and they failed to contact us at all. We requested to speak with the manager Josh and he simply tried to placate us at every turn. He failed to provide the follow up communications that we repeatedly, specifically requested. 4. A month later, the WRONG couch was delivered to our address and swiftly taken back. I was offered a 10% reduction in the cost, but was still given no new delivery date, and no loaner or replacement couch was offered. 5. Finally, nearly 2 months after placing the order, the couch was ready to be delivered, but we were going to be out of town attending a wedding. We rescheduled delivery for 4 days later. 6. I was not contacted again by Raymour & Flanigan. On the day that the couch was supposed to be delivered I called the store and was told that the order was cancelled because the store had failed to put our apartment number on one of the forms (even though they had this information from the previous delivery of the incorrect couch). 7. With every mistake, I treated all staff respectfully. I had to take hours out of many workdays to try to get to solutions and throughout the entire process was lied to multiple times and not taken seriously. We still have not received the couch. I cannot in good conscience let another person buy anything from this incompetent, dishonest, and disrespectful staff. read more

I'll start with this - buy your furniture anywhere else unless you want to be car salesman'd into spending thousands of dollars on furniture you don't need. Stopped in to try out a purple mattress. Was heavily convinced to move forward with purchasing a purple through R&F instead of through the Purple website. R&F has a "mattress comfort guarantee" which if you read the fine print means that you have 30 days (if you purchased a mattress protector) to exchange the mattress for another of the same or greater value. I was never told any of this. Just told to sign on the line to complete my purchase. So when I went in to process a return (on a mattress that literally was 6 inches shorter than my current full mattress) they refused. I was played so hard by the sales associates at this store and I will NEVER be going back. R&F is a great spot to test out furniture or mattresses but do your purchasing elsewhere. I ordered a mid- priced sleep sofa. Delivery guys missed their time slot as I live in an apartment building and have rigid delivery time. Sofa was re delivered a few days later. One of the arms is not attached properly. Went to the store & complained asking for replacement ~ was told that there was a 40% return & re-stock fee. No have a 30% offer to retur, or repair. We were tourists who saw the store window that had every brand of mattress we wanted to check in one place. While we couldn't purchase here, the store salesman Daniel Byrne was exceptional. He was so very knowledgeable about all of the products that we looked at and sat upon. We found this store about 10 minutes before they closed on a Sunday but we didn't feel hurried or bothersome. I very much appreciate Mr. Byrne's expertise and when we returned home his advice made my final purchase easy. My experience with this Raymour Flanigan was very positive. We purchased a sofa there a couple years ago and took out the extended warranty. The motor for the recliner stopped working within the warranty period. The part was unexpectedly on back order for about six weeks which disappointing me. However I spoke to two customer service representatives who were really nice and helped me resolve this issue. The first was Zenata, and secondly Kristen, the manager. Once they realized it was going to be a long wait for the part they immediately arranged for a replacement sofa to come a few days later. It was handled very professionally by both of them and I appreciate their intervention in this matter. It's nice to know that Raymour Flanigan hires responsible people to handle these issues. read more

Bought a coffee table here that was very nIce. Randy Brown, our salesperson, was helpful and not pushy. Delivery was another story. The procedure is they call you the day before and give you a window. So you basically have to block out your whole calendar on your delivery date, which is very inconvenient. The first coffee table they brought was broken and I refused delivery. So I had to stay home a second day. I called the store and asked them to refund my delivery fee. The employee (not Randy) said they would give me half back. They did not. A week later I called a second time. The person (not Randy) said they would refund me. They did not. I called Randy and I finally got my refund on the third time. I would not shop here again. read more

This is a new R&F store on Union Square. The store is much bigger than the old one in 14th. That means plenty of room for samples. My most recent R&F purchase is a loveseat and sofa set. I am delighted. Daniel, the salesman was just the right combination of passive and yet helpful. R&F provides excellent quality for the money. Much better than Bob's. It's sad I have to leave a post like this but here it goes. The salespeople and management in this store are fantastic. Unfortunately there billing and finance department makes the rest of the company look bad. I have never dealt with a bunch of more incompetent morons. Don't get there credit card. It's a scam. Once you get it they make it very difficult to make purchases. I can't go into detail because it will open up my credit identity. But please don't fall into the financial trap that they offer.
