Rejuvenation, a store owned by William Sonoma in Chelsea, used to be a good store but fallen in standard due to a manager/staff of the store whose billing ID is G Costa, he wears a mask and did not wear a badge. He from the beginning was impatient in answering our questions about items and was showing attitude for no good reason. We had a terrible experience in their store when we tried to order goods worth more than $3000. He made a mistake in the order. When we asked him to cancel, rather than cancelling the order, he made a duplicate order without notifying us. Our card was charged twice without our approval for the duplicate order. He, after making the duplicate order, told us that we should come back and return the duplicate item when it arrives to get back our money. We were surprised that our card was charged twice without our approval although we were standing in front of him when he was putting in the order. We asked him to cancel both orders as we did not want to come back to return the duplicate item. At that point he became even more rude and was extremely unhelpful. He said the store manager was not around to resolve this dispute, although it seemed he was the store manager. He didn't seem to care that he lost a customer who was ready to buy goods above $3000. This staff should be held responsible for not only losing a customer forever for Rejuvenation and ruining William Sonoma's reputation but also because he was non-transparent to the customer and charged their card for a duplicate item without their approval. Be very very careful when you order anything in the Rejuvenation store and double check what they are charging on your card. We still haven't got back our refund that was charged on our card without our consent. read more

Williams Sonoma Home @ 104 7th Avenue This Williams Sonoma is located in a neighborhood that my daughter and I frequently visit to shop. We always stop in the Williams Sonoma Store and this Home Store. The furniture is beautiful. They have bedding and bathroom merchandise in addition to lots of nick-knacks. If you catch a sale on sheets that's good, otherwise their merchandise is pricey. I always head for the section of the store where they have the permanent markdowns. It's a nice place for me to dream about home decorating. Plus I always use their bathroom! read more

This review is for the online website and the regular store. Don't order anything from WilliamsSonoma online. I bought a set of 6 drinking glasses. I received 5 and two were cracked. After having them delivered I had to go to the store to get a full set of 6 glasses. It would have taken weeks through the mail to get a replacement. They were not allowed to give me a refund for shipping in the store. I had to call online to ask for a refund for shipping. They charge $9 shipping and they won't refund the shipping even on damaged orders. I spent one hour on the phone with a manager just to get a $2.50 store credit instead of a $9 refund. I never ever got the $2.50 credit. How nice of them. Completely unprofessional. I've never had any company do this. read more

This is not for the in-store location! This is for the online Williams-Sonoma customer support. Quite possibly the rudest people on planet earth. Over a $50 claim for something that was their fault 2 years ago, they held up the order for my couch which came to over $3600. They fought tooth and nail with me over $50 from 2 years ago due to a mistake they made with a sale item that I bought and I made a claim with AMEX that was literally closed and then they told me they would cancel my couch order over this unless I released the claim that was already closed! I said I'd like to speak to a manger and they said no managers and too bad they will cancel my couch. I had to phone back for 30 minutes to make a formal complaint about the disgusting sales person who hung up on me and was incredibly rude to me and after requesting this $50 would be taken care of as a customer service gesture, they refused again and said too bad and pay or else my couch gets cancelled. Completely ridiculous do you not want my over $3600 over $50?!? Insane to say the least. I had to pay it and I asked for a receipt and confirmation the couch would not be cancelled and they said the hold is lifted but no confirmation. I asked why and they said goodbye and hung up AGAIN on me! These people need to learn manners and customer service 101. Absolutely disgusted and will never shop at Williams-Sonoma, West Elm, or any of their other store umbrellas due to horrendous customer service and completely rude and unacceptable experience wasting over an hour of my day during the work day! read more

This was a two-visit to the new Williams Sonoma Home. Real estate: where PB used to be in Chelsea. I visited the store right after it opened. Not good. Mary Morales was a nightmare. I was trying (yes, really, is that necessary? To try to buy "retail"?) to purchase a coffee table but I needed to learn the heights of shelves. She dismissed my concerns. Next, I appealed to two women working at computers toward the front of the store and they tried to help me. She told them, NO. Don't ask for this info with some gobbly gook about marketing, etc. I am just trying to purchase a coffee table and know if the heights will work with housekeeping. WTH? I went back a month later, had a solid conversation with a new person (helpful!) and purchased. Morales and the indifference towards me by the men in the store on the second visit explains the two stars. Yup, we are old. Yup, we have money. My take: Williams Sonoma is not known for its customer service and should just fire all their HR and training department. Get in touch with me. A few individuals keep them in business across many cities I have lived in. Managers don't seem to read YELP or if they do, don't correct. read more

5 stars for Sheva and the rest of the team here! Planned to buy a coffee table online but stalled long enough that when I returned to the site, it was sold out, much to my chagrin. Called the store and they were able to locate another in their warehouse, coordinate shipping and ultimately process the transaction all over the course of a few days and with fantastic follow up by Sheva who ensured I was in good hands and kept updated throughout. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Superb customer service- thank you! This was my first experience with WSH and I will certainly be back. read more

Thanks for making my day and being the best sales person ever! I am sure she and her staff worked a long day and the fact that they took time and stayed open late for me really means a lot. I get it that it is nyc and they probably deal with 100+ plus crazy people a day, so it means even more that they have a positive attitude and are so accommodating. I tried to return a disastrous online order in store here, and though was unable to do so given WS's antiquated system the folks who worked here tried very hard to accommodate and Mr. Muir went above and beyond to try and help. The quality of the product was subpar for a $2900 coffee table I ordered. I describe the issue and sent pictures and was assured that a replacement would correct the problem - it didn't - two replacements later ! I finally return the product after customer service said it was their vendors issue not theirs. The replacements and the return process involved multiple screwup's with dates and times to just get this taken care of. I was refunded the delivery charge and the cost of the item in a timely manner but the service representative also offered a credit for my inconvenience and issues - now three months later and multiple calls I am being offered a credit 30% less than what was originally promised ( miraculously found in notes that last 2 reps said wasn't there). Now will need to wait another 2-3 weeks to see if that gets delivered. Lack of follow-up, accuracy and just plain customer service severely lacking with this company. read more
