Last time my guy visited the Haleiwa location, he was so put off by the younger female workers attitude. He noticed a couple of other customers recieving their orders before him, and they were behind him in line. Since then, he hasn't felt the need to support them there. Drive up, park, order, pay and I'm already on my way. This last visit I saw the sign for smoke meat. Now that Gramps is too old to do his thing, I've been kind of a snob to anyone elses. Often only get to get some of their onolicious chicken when we happen to be on the North Shore but now they are near by and so easy to access the best huli huli chicken on the island. The `Ohana who runs the truck are always willing to work with you no matter how busy they are. Something about how they interact with you makes you feel like a VIP. Local food by local people - nothing better. The chicken is juicy and the seasoning is the true "finger licking good." The sauce just elevates what is already an amazing dish.
