I got a Kalbi plate and it was not worth over $20 and service sucked. On most of the reviews it talks about 2 nice ladies and big portions, BUT when I went it was 1 guy and small portions and not good service. We were the only customers there and he said it would take about 7 minuites. Other people started coming after us and since he was trying to do there order too ... it took about 25 minuites! Why not finish our order first then make other people's order. He called their order before ours. WTF!!!! If we didn't go up to him and say that was our plate, he would have given our plate away to the other people. Never going again and telling people not to go there either. read more

To be honest, we ate here because all of the other places were swarming with people and this place was empty. We also had some hungry and cranky kids that needed to be fed! We ordered bulgogi, spicy pork, and the scallion pancake plates. The ladies that cook the food are Korean. The food was all really good and definitely hit the spot. My three year old couldn't stop talking about how yummy it was on the way back. There are plenty of tables in front of the truck and in the back. Super nice ladies serving super good Korean food. For some reason every time I'm up on the North Shore I always end up a Korean food truck. People are sleeping on the Korean food up in North Shore lol. I ordered kalbi like I normally do and it was really good. Plenty of flavor and grilled well. I wish they would do local style mac salad instead of cabbage but it's fine. This place wasn't busy because all the haole tourists were getting burgers and tacos from the other food trucks. This place has the best food in the area...hands down. Sorry Giovanni's and Big Wave y'all don't hold a candle to this little gem. It's tucked away behind the other food trucks in the old Hailewa food truck area, $2 to park and about six trucks in all. The ladies cooking and serving are super nice and their truck is immaculate, cleaner than others I have been to, by a mile. I had the fried mandoo (about 12 pieces) and the BBQ pork and WoW the flavors were fire!! It really hit the spot. Best of all we're the prices...about $2 less per entree compared to the others...another win!! read more

The lunch wagon is at the back, and I think the couple lacks some marketing skills. Their food is good, not salty or sweet, and the prices reflect the portions. Many places have skimpy Korean ribs and other dishes, but not his place. I think the appearance of the food truck does not do it justice. The owner's are an elderly couple, and the are had been flooded during March of 2021. Like many businesses, the food truck went through many hardships but still hangs in there. Here's my review and story. I called my order in because it always seems busy. When I got there, they were still making it which was fine since I was only down the street when placing the order. There was a lot of people in front of the food truck and I didn't want to be around crowds so people don't know this but there's lots of tables with bench's under a tent behind the truck. I waited patiently in the back then it started to rain so the little Korean man waved everyone in the front to go to the back. That's was nice of him but I was just worried they were going to be close by cause you have to be cautious in this pandemic now days. Luckily my food was ready shortly, yeah! So, I went to get my food and had to hold the plate with two hands because it was heavier then I expected and when opening it I realized they gave a gracious amount. Yeah! Nice people, Korean older lady and man working there. Food always smells so good so been wanting to try it. We only ordered the Korean scallion pancakes and Loved it!
