The atmosphere is local, authentic, quaint, and welcoming. Abuela can be seen in the kitchen hand making the tortillas so you know it's gonna be an amazing experience. The seafood is fresh and the food comes with a platter of sauces and pico de gallo and hot peppers that complement whatever dish you may order. The prices are fair and quite inexpensive when compared to prices back in the United States. There is a view during the day and at night, festive lights, set the tone for a magical evening. In short, having traveled across this wonderful globe and eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants, as well as local places like this, I can confidently say this is in the top 10 list of my favorite spots to enjoy a meal!

We ordered 2 margaritas to start us off while we decided from the menu on what our main dishes would be. The margaritas were gigantic (you'll never going to catch me complaining about that) and they tasted so refreshing. You can be seated in the sun or the shade, and after spending all day in the sun we were ready for some shade. My boyfriend LOVES fish tacos, so naturally he gravitated towards those. I felt as if by this point in our vacation it was insane that I hadn't eaten any chile rellenos, so I got the Mexican plate that came with beans and rice, an enchilada, a chile relleno, a small quesadilla, and some vegetables. Everything was delicious, but I liked the chile relleno the most. The cheese in the quesadilla was incredible, and I loved the enchilada, too. The price of our meal certainly was something I couldn't complain about, either. For my boyfriend, myself, and our friend Mario the total was less than $700 pesos. Although the food was good, my favorite thing about Fanny's was the hospitable service. Our waiter treated my boyfriend and I as if he'd seen us countless times before but it was our first time visiting together. The first time I came to Fanny's a couple years ago with my uncles and Mario I remember the calm, relaxing environment and service that I enjoyed so much. It was good to see that not much has changed about Fanny's. We will be counting down until our next trip to PV, and Fanny's will definitely be part of our plans again!

Had like 3 mariachi bands all around playing different music which made for NOT a relaxing meal. - lobsters were tiny and full of eggs. The amount of meat from one lobster was the size of one of my fingers. Maybe harvest lobsters *after* they have laid eggs so the population is sustainable? I would not order these again. - fish ceviche was pulverized and not great texture or flavor - people try to sell things at your table every 2 minutes. Also doesn't make for a relaxing meal. They have some good food but seems like they are going for quantity of people which sacrifices quality. Or maybe they treat locals better than tourists? This restaurant is known for their seafood and boy was it fresh. They don't have a specific menu, but rather they bring out a tray of their fresh selection of the day. Everything was beautiful and the shrimp was gigantic. We opted for the red snapper, lobster and the large shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Oh, and I have to make a point of mentioning their margaritas. Fresh fruit margaritas... So yummy. We tried the mango margarita with fresh mangoes and strawberry margarita as well. I just love drinks made with fresh fruits. I think it was my favorite margarita of the entire trip. I do highly recommend you check this place out. The food is phenomenal and the service is wonderful. The 20 minute Uber ride cost about US$15 so well worth it, especially if you do a beach day and make a day of it.
