On July 19 we picked up a radiator cap as the upper hose was collapsing. Didn't solve it so on August 6 we dropped the SUV off and they blew the overflow line to the overflow tank and told us it was clogged, Okay, problem solved but the owner charged us $25.00 after we spent all that money. That line should've been checked when installing the new radiator. I did not mention the $25 charge as the owner tends to be a bit snippy. Nate who ran the counter is now gone;-( Yeah, I know, it's only $25. I spoke with the owner about doing an alignment on our Tahoe but now I'm not so sure...

I was on my way home from work and my check engine lights lit up like fireworks. It was spectacular…read moreand terrifying. Obviously, needed the codes read. Les Schwab was on the way home. Outside of his job description, the tech, Justin or Jason, my apologies on the name, predicted almost immediately it was likely rodents had made a snack of my engine wiring and sure enough, when he popped the hood, there were rat turds all over. While I was cussing and making references to Caddyshack, gophers, and explosives, he then found the EXACT spot where the wires were eaten. It was incredible and it saved me from having a near nervous breakdown since I had also been in contact with Subaru and of course, they told me it could cost me "thousands of dollars" to diagnose, let alone fix. (Of course they said this). Jason/Justin said is wasn't the sort of thing Les Schwab fixes but at least I had the diagnosis and exact spot where the wires were chewed. What did they charge me for this? Nothing. I ended up finding an amazing new mechanic who said it really wasn't that big a deal, fixed it for less than $200, and now my garage looks like a small military zone with alarms, traps, repellents, etc. Hasn't happened since. Thank you Les Schwab for your techs that go above and beyond. Rare these days. So grateful!

This is a new post with a totally different vehicle than the one I posted about in 2023…read more A week ago I discovered that my tires were wearing more than I expected due to age. The date on the rear tires was 2015. Good time to change and not wait for the winter storm coming. I went to the shop, spoke with Shawn (may not be the name I was told), given a bid for 4 new 70K tires at a most reasonable price. I called the next afternoon and asked if they were busy. The gentleman told me to come in, as there was a lull, and I did. Tires were replaced in almost less than 1/2 hour. WoW!!! What a difference they made. Turning was so much easier, and starting and stopping without tires screeching at the start was remarkable. I had prayed that the busy would thrive, and they have. Why? Because they were attentive to my need, gave me a fixed estimate, were available when I called, even though I could have made an appointment. The new tires came with balancing, and free tire rotations and service. What more could you ask for? Price per tire $70, installation and taxes total $471.15. My next visit will be to have my brakes inspected. When it comes to the brakes, thank you to the guy that got a second look and found he did not need new rotors right away... Before winter blows in like a furry, get those tires checked and replace them. No tread on the wheels, could lead to an auto accident, especially if it's snowing (like next week).

I take the vehicle in. I talked to the gentleman at the counter. I tell him my girlfriend made an appointment for the vehicle after four. I don't know anything else about it. He tells me OK bring the car in he did not tell me that I owe him any money for the rotation or give me a quote. They did the tire rotation. I go back inside ask him for a quote for some tires and then go to leave at which point he tells me I owe him $35 for the rotation. I was not quoted before the work was done He then proceeded to keep my vehicle from me and refused to release it until I paid him $35 because a quote was not given to me before the work was done. I was not legally responsible therefore keeping my vehicle was illegal and using it to extort money out of me was even more illegal. This business does not care about its customers. I highly recommend you find another tire place.
