The first thing to know is that this place is a little off the beaten path. It's pretty deep into West Valley and about a mile off the main road coming down into the area. It's marked relatively well, but definitely one to stick into Google maps before you head out. We had a couple lambs prepared here and they did it in a timely fashion and for a good price. While here, I got to explore the small room out front where they have a refrigerator with pepperoni sticks, summer sausage and beef jerky. The pepperoni sticks - affectionately known as the pepper stix - were really good. The packs range from about five dollars to $10 and are great for snacking. The summertime is apparently a slow time for butchering meet, but into the fall and winter they have many different options for your meat purchasing pleasure. They smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving, periodically FB for sale and reportedly have lots of pork options later in the year. The guy who runs the place is very nice and takes pride in what he does. It's definitely not a glamorous job, but keeping the people said with delicious meat options rarely is! Worth your time to call these guys up and see what they have available. I spend more time in line than i did grabbing my items i needed its so aggravating to say the least. But the staff is usually very nice and the store is clean and easy to navigate. Aisles are pretty wide and i find what im looking for quickly because of the signs for each aisle. Its only getting 3 stars because of how long the lines are and how long it takes to checkout

Let me just say, I was on a trek to find authentic Mexican bread or "Pan Dulce" for my entire trip…read moreto the Yakima and Columbia Valley. Having grown up in California, I remember walking in to the bakery with my parents only to be greeted by the sweet aroma of fresh baked bread. I would always choose my favorite piece and watch it closely in the bag all the way home. In an attempt to find some authentic bread, we were headed to a chain store that would surely sell less than suitable bread to spark memories. By chance we found La Petunia. We were greeted by Don Rosas and quickly and eagerly I went on a rampage picking out my own bread. As a side note, it is quite common for there to be a butcher shop within a small bodega store, as was the case here. We din't buy meat so I will ignore it. Regardless. With the ovens that cook the bread in the background still whirring and having chosen and tasted some churros and a small piece of bread here and there we were off. The bread is the freshest and closest thing to my childhood market bread that I have ever tasted in Washington State and in California. 10/10 would highly recommend and will even consider driving all the way to Yakima just for this bread. A second spot has opened up in West Valley, and a welcome sight it is! The footprint of the place isn't huge, but the ambiance is lovely and the impact will be lasting! My wife is half Chinese, so Asian markets have always been a staple for her. Going in here, we found tons of different options for noodles, great candies, great drinks, spices, soup bases, frozen food, meat and produce! Finding 2 brands of Chinese sausage was brilliant! The folks who work here are very friendly, and knowledgeable about what they have. They'll also look to order things you're interested in, if they don't have them. We've been there once a week since they opened and I suspect it'll continue!

Lost my AirPods at the location, Find My IPhone was clearly saying my left AirPod was at that…read morelocation. The manager Manuel would not answer the phone after he said he would call back due to an employee having mentioned they saw one outside. Manuel later stated that the employee no longer worked there and they don't recall where it went after putting it behind the register? I asked if they can check the camera's and they stated you would not be able to tell from the footage? He kept switching up the story, this just goes to show the type of employees they have along with the management.
