Go elsewhere!!! I have gone to this location a few times. On 2/22/2024 I walked into the ultrasound room & they had everyone's information that had an ultrasound this day up on the monitor. It displayed the patients ID, last name, first name, date of birth, gender, scheduled date/time, and exam type. I took a photo of this and showed the manager to inform him this was a HUGE HIPAA violation. He stated the girl was "new" and this was a still learning their system. He then asked me to delete the photo. I was seen again this month and I walked into the room and again, they had displayed on the monitor the patients ID, last name, first name, exam date/time, and exam type... I took another photo and explained this is a HUGE HIPAA violation and I didn't want my personal information being displayed for everyone to see... If you were seen here on 2/22/2024 and 11/15/2024 and had an ultrasound. Just know your personal information was displayed for everyone to see. See the image below, I blocked everyone's name.. I have filed 2 complaints to hhs.gov for both dates regarding this incident. I have called and left corporate 3 voicemails with no response back.. I also had to call Rayus Radiology to make an addendum on 2 separate reports by 2 separate radiologists because they forgot to added a finding one 1 image and they stated I had something on my ovary but I don't even have my ovary..... read more

This was a horrible experience. The ultrasound technician pushed so hard over and over on my rib cage that I left feeling bruised. I don't think ultrasounds are supposed to hurt. I told her it was incredibly painful and she mocked me saying, "I can't get good images because you say Ow, ow, ow so much." I would say to avoid this place at all costs. My ribs and sternum are so tender now that it hurts to touch. read more

Having imaging is sometimes a stressful situation because of the unknown but Epic Imaging helps in having excellent imaging for your doctors review! They are conveniently located with multiple locations in the metro areas and their employees are friendly and professional. The facilty is clean and has modern imaging equipment. The technicians are friendly and mature giving excellent service. They communicate very well and explain what they're doing. They even give you a cd to bring to bring to your referring doctor. My service was a five star experience and hardly any wait either. I had xrays and a 3d mammogram. I even got a nice treat of chapstick which I needed and a nail file too! I highly recommend them. Get your mammograms! And if you're over 40 then your insurance should make it free. Important to also have a 3D mammogram if you have breast implants and even more so if they are the textured implants because there is a recall on textured implants for causing cancer. *Know before you go: My google directions got me a little frustrated with directions but I made it so when coming for the first time, do yourself a favor and look for Epic Imaging at the end of the building next to the exit side of the parking area onto Cornell. They are located in a large whitish building with about three levels. There's only one entrance onto the property where the building is located then you can either enter from the main building or directly into Epic Imaging from the outside of the building which is the best option because the parking is better on that side with designated Epic Imaging parking spots. Wife had a mammogram here back in November 2023. We have PacificSource health plan through Legacy Health and provided them the info when making an appointment. They said everything will be covered when we asked if they are PacificSource in-network provider then they scheduled an appointment. When we checked in for imaging, we asked them to double check if insurance would cover and they said yes so wife went ahead with the imaging. Now in May 2024, they sent us a bill for $777 because "the provider is out of network". Called and asked if they could help in resolving this matter. They said all they could do is to ask PacificSource to review the bill. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was told we could only ask for a supervisor to call back. 10 business days later, still no call back from any supervisor. If we knew they were not PacificSource in-network provider, we would have never come in for imaging. We felt misled by this company but we are willing to pay cash/discounted price for the service that has already been performed at this point but the company not willing to work with us. Will never come here again! After researching, we now realized this is a "surprise billing practice" and this is against the federal "no surprise billing act". If I could give this place -100 stars I would. The way they treat patients is disgusting. The MRI techs seems to find it funny if your overweight and like to degrade you in front of other patients and staff. I've never had any trouble getting a MRI and have had many at other Rayus locations and treated professionally with dignity and respect as all patients should be treated. My friend couldn't believe the behavior of the staff. A complete lack of respect and professionalism. I contacted the managers and spoke to Eric who was very helpful and got me rescheduled at another location in a couple days but the main Manager Jay who I contacted before without a call back thought he had to explain the polices to me about the size limits of the machines and licensing of the techs etc instead of understanding that the issue was that the staff violated my privacy and fat shamed me in front of others. The behavior was bullish, unprofessional and degrading. No patient should be subjected to degregration when trying to get medical care. I hope someone in Upper Managemnt sees this and corrects this situation. This is not the first encounter with these bullies. I had the same experience months before when I had an MRI there and left in tears feeling humiliated. When I made these appointments the scheduler was aware both times that I was larger and was provided my weight and she said there wasn't any issues. The bully even tried to cover his behavior by telling me the schedulers don't know what equipment is at each location, I shouldn't have been scheduled there. Are you kidding me?? Even the Manager admitted the equipment is the same as the other locations. To be clear I am overweight but never require any special accommodations like seat belt extender or anything. 3 different people/divisions were supposed to call me for scheduling. I had to call all 3 and be my own advocate. Was told I would get results in 2-3 days by the doctor. By day 4, I called- the woman said 3-4 days but there were no results. It's now been a week and still no results. Zero compassion or empathy. I will never go back to Rayus. read more

The lady at the front desk was kind enough, but this is a review based on their scheduling department and practice as a business. My wife and I woke up 7 in the morning, verified that the appointment was indeed scheduled, and got there half an hour early - I work nights and sometimes on the weekend, so we're running on little sleep with a one year old, plus the drive time for us is a about an hour out. This follow up visit for my wife was scheduled ONE YEAR AGO. When we arrived, we were told the appointment was cancelled, and that they totally messed up my wife's scheduling. They tried to say it was a six month follow up, she was already seen, and eventually they figured they put the wrong numbers in and that someone else had the time slot we were promised. How is this in any way an ethical or honest business practice? They said they didn't have any slots, and seem to make any real effort to amend their mistakes. I won't go into any gory detail, but I needed an ultrasound. Called around and found the best price at Epic. When I got there, they told me that if I paid them that day I would receive an additional 40% off! Since I didn't have insurance at the time, that was a huge savings for me. I had the ultrasound (s) and it turned out I needed a CT scan. Same thing...pay that day (used a credit card) and save 40% off. Whew! The staff were efficient, kind and helpful. Just had my MRA done here yesterday. It was a wonderful experience. My original appointment with Providence wasn't until mid-march, and I am in so much pain I decided to call around. They were able to get me in within 2 days. From scheduling to procedure prep to imaging, everyone was fantastic. I observe modest dress and the technician was so sweet about preserving as much of that as possible for me. I highly recommend this place! read more

Just read the report from a series of x-rays I had there. The report was so brief, it didn't even mention the metal plates as every other report (I've had several) has. Not sure they would have found anything as it seems the report was done in an rush. The patient portal is lousy. Takes forever to give your complete info and 3 security questions just to log on. (I would be willing to bet it took me longer to sign up than the radiologist spent writing my report.) You can't see the films either. read more

My doctors office arranged an MRI with Epic. I was told I would be called for scheduling in a day or two. No call. The doctors office said we'll call again and tell them to call you. No call. Delayed again. Being a good advocate, I called Epic. Why haven't you called? Reply: we don't call patients. We wait for them to call us. WTF are you people smoking there. And, of course, the first question to me was about insurance. Being a health care professional, I would not a) trust them to perform the test properly or b) interpret it properly. I discussed this with their manager (Mr. Ansbach) who had a couldn't care less attitude. My doctors office stated they are not sending anyone else to Epic. Whenever I've gone to Epic, I've been treated with nothing but absolute professionalism and the people have always been friendly. If there is a wait, the receptionist has always been kind to provide updates on the status, which is really helpful. Plus, there is one price that includes the radiologist's reading. No hidden fees and if you want a CD of your images, you simply request them. The costs are always cheaper than anywhere else (trust me, I've called and asked at a lot of places.) Because of their service, professionalism and cost, my husband and I won't go anywhere else but Epic for any of our imaging needs. read more

This place is the ONLY place I will ever go to for my yearly mammogram. Last year I went to Providence and it took THREE MONTHS to get my results, and that was only after repeated phone calls, finally ending with a regional manager. Yes, they had to get films from out-of-state to compare, but after 8 weeks of NO answers, I called the place where I had gotten my previous mammograms done, and they had ZERO requests for my previous films. Yes, NO requests, even though I had been assured two requests had taken place. I finally had to get a senior level manager involved to get the results from what should have been a routine mammogram. Ridiculous. Fast forward to this year. Upon the advice of friends, I decided to go to Epic Imaging. I called to make an appointment at 4:00pm. They had an opening for an 8:00am appointment the very next day. I walked in the next morning and they already had my films from Providence. I got a mammogram AND a radiologist read it AND I got my results AND I was out of there in 22 minutes flat. They were able to accomplish in less than one day what took Providence over three months and numerous increasingly irate phone calls were not able to accomplish. Epic Imaging for the win! read more

My experience over the years is that they are almost always delayed by an hour or more, and without clear reason. Is it possible that they overbook to ensure a steady stream of revenue? Epic's professionalism in the treatment of patient time is not so epic. In one or two occasions, I have had to leave and come back the next day. Why do I return? Because they are close to home, and once the technician appears, the experience is fine. For me, if Epic wants the 3 additional stars, they should place more emphasis on customer service and patient throughput time. read more

I wish I could take stars away from this place to regain the hour of my life I just lost. I arrive 15 minutes early for check in as per the instructions. An hour later and I still haven't been taken back. The receptionist "Aundraya" has the personality and professionalism of a wet napkin. Instead of being told at check in that they were 90 minutes behind I'm just sitting there thinking I'll be called back soon. The receptionist said it would be another 30 minutes. I'm completely taken aback that this is just common practice for them and they still have clientele. If you're running more than 15 minutes late they should tell people that at check in so that we may reschedule. Instead we are met with the snark and unprofessionalism of the minimum wage receptionist. If I were 90 minutes late to my appointment they would have cancelled the appointment.
