Thank you guys!

For long time this place is part of my search for good food. I can have any dish at this spot. I'm highly recommend.

Perfect falafel!
Rainbow U.

Five stars delicious and fresh foods! The falafel was perfect! Green and fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside! My date loved his Mediterranean Burrito! The salad was fresh and delicious! Service was friendly, we had a great banter going with the lady at the counter- ambiance was giving lunch location; if I were a student at Berkeley, I would dine here frequently. We shall return!

This is a Lebanese Wrap which is supposed to have sauces and green vegetables. It is grilled chicken which is 203 days old, cold and stale.

It is so disappointing to try a restaurant rated 5 and find it $30 worth of rice and nothing else except tired, stale, cold "grilled" chicken. Restaurants shouldn't be able to get away with this flagrant inconsistency and not meeting the descriptions of their dishes. Door Dash and the restaurant should uphold some quality standards. Schwarmaji is much better.

Jordanian Wrap

I recently learned about Razan from a friend and went back within the same week. Razan is such a gem! So far I have tried the Jordanian wrap and the Lebanese wrap. Both were delicious and fresh. If you wait inside the restaurant, you can see the care the owner puts into the food they prepare. They have a couple of tables inside (with a small second floor seating area), but it seems like people often order takeout. Great place for a casual meal!

amazing beeef burrito and get the green spicy sauce

The food here is sooo good! It's flavorful organic and halal! It's amazing and I would come again for sure

Jordanian Wrap

Updating my super old review! I like to stop by here when I'm in need of a quick meal. There'a not that much seating inside, but their wraps are convenient to take on the go. They have a variety of wraps with flavors from different cuisines that tasty healthy and fresh, and are reasonably priced, so I usually go for one of those. You can order on Snackpass for pickup; they don't seem to get a ton of Snackpass orders though, so sometimes can be a bit slow with these. Overall, Razan's has become one of my go to spots for a quick, convenient, and healthy meal!

Razan's had a decent wrap. I can't really tell if something's organic or not, but it cost like it. It's a nice place though.

Its a small place but they serve the most healthy cheap good tasting food in Berkeley if not the entire Bay Area.

I'm talking about a tiny Middle Eastern kitchen inside the Berkeley Organic Market. I just happened on this spot as I was walking and feeling peckish in the family-friendly Elmwood neighborhood. One woman was behind the counter, so I assumed she was not only the face of Badan, she was Badan. I ordered the $9.99 Falafel Plate with three freshly deefalafel balls, hummus, baba ganoush, and a salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, turnip, pickles, and feta cheese (photo). It came with a fluffy pita quartered for easier scooping. The market only has one table out on the sidewalk which I shared with a young mother and her daughter. I can say unequivocally that everything tasted fresh. I believe the woman who prepared my plate made everything that morning, and it made me want to come back and try the shawarma, the lentil soup, and the wraps. Great balls. You're welcome. FOOD - 5 stars...truly fresh combo plate with standout falafel balls AMBIANCE - 4 stars...not much room here but a relaxing to-go option SERVICE - 5 stars...she was great TOTAL - 5 stars...psss, it's in the market RELATED - Exploring Berkeley? Order at the counter, grab a seat at orange cafe seating outside. Their puffy flatbread is made in-house daily with whole wheat flour and finished on a plancha. It's the base of an excellent falafel sandwich with flash-pickled purple cabbage, yogurt, hot sauce, and a top layer of fresh mint, parsley, and dill. (They also have lamb and chicken versions of this sandwich.) The line moves fast, the staff is warm and genuinely friendly and engaging. The mango lassi was delicious. The infamous spicy chicken sandwich is really filling, just a bit messy to eat. It came out in 5 minutes but there are online order options. I've also heard their mango lassi and juices are good. My friend and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwiches with hummus on the side. With good quality ingredients, the price is worth it. There aren't many seating options but you can sit outside on a nice day out. I'll be back to try their juice and a plate next time.

And I like spice! But it was labeled 2/5 chilis and that was a vast understatement. I guzzled 5 glasses of water. I started to hear colors. The flavor was nice from what I could taste, but it was so spicy my sister couldn't finish her wrap and I suffered through mine. Even the owner said she would classify it a 4/5 chili dish, but it was her husband who decided it would be 2/5. It will burn a hole in your insides and humble you. - the vanilla cardamom panna cotta didn't have enough vanilla or cardamom flavor. The texture is also a bit...firmer and bouncier than others I've had. The caramel and nuts on top were a nice touch.

The staff here are very friendly. While placing our order, the cashier asked if we could handle…read morespice, and we confidently said "yes." We're also Asian, we can eat spice... we thought. The Tenali Kura (paneer) claimed to be a 2/5 spice level, and I assure you it was NOT. I have been trying to follow an acid reflux diet, which is supposed to be minimal/no spices. I figured 2/5 would be okay- maybe some warmth, but surely on the mild side. I was wrong. After 2 bites, I felt like my lips were starting to puff up and my mouth was salivating more to deal with the spice. I felt so confused, I had to ask the owner "Is this a 2/5 Indian spicy? Or regular?" and she laughed. She said "If it were up to me, I would say it's 4/5 spicy. My husband said it was a 2/5 so that's what he put on the menu." Honestly my mouth was so numb, I can't even comment on the flavor of the food. I would love a new menu based on the wife's judgement of spice level. On a different day, I had the butter chicken and rice, and it was excellent. I would consider going back but not for the tenali kura. The staff were all friendly and great, and there's a cute mural on the wall. The outdoor area seems like it'd be a great on a hot sunny day too.

Visit date: 4/19/2026…read more We came about an hour before closing on a Sunday, so unfortunately many of the items I wanted to try based on other people's recommendations were already sold out. We ended up getting three things: * The cheese twist was soooo good! The cheese was flavorful and the pastry itself was perfectly done. * The apple pastry was interesting. Unlike many places where the pastry is either bland or overly sweet, Acme's pastry had a slight saltiness to it, which I actually think is genius. I almost always prefer a hint of savory flavor to balance out the sweetness from the filling or topping. My only issue with this one was that the apple topping was not sweet at all and leaned more tart, so paired with the salty pastry, it was not quite the flavor combination I was hoping for. * The mini raspberry pastry had the same issue for me. The raspberry topping was just a bit too tart and sour for my taste. Even though not everything was a hit for me, I would definitely come back and give this bakery another chance, especially since we arrived so late and missed out on many of their most popular items.

We ordered a mini lamb wrap, mini chicken wrap, rose tamarind drink and mint lemonade. The lamb was gristly and dry, so I preferred the chicken wrap, but was disappointed to find that it featured only chicken (well-seasoned and juicy) and did not have any tomatoes, cucumbers, or other vegetables like the lamb wrap did. The chicken wrap was only chicken and lavash. Perhaps it was an oversight on the staff's part, even though the restaurant was not busy during a Friday lunch. And it also still took some time to get our orders out even though we were the only ones in line and there were only two other parties eating there. Maybe there were tons of to-go orders they had to fulfill? I'll be sure to check out the Santa Clara location as well in the future, but for this luncheon, we had to temper our disappointment by going around the corner to get some Gregory's.
