What a gem of a corner cafe! Can't believe I haven't seen this cafe pop up on my yelp before but so glad I could drop by. This is is a mix between cafe, juicery and restaurant! There's going to be something on the menu for everyone - and the best part is the happy hour menu. There's a variety of seat options and even a kids play zone. Stay to work or stay to chat and eat. Lots of people get takeout as well. We did some work with the free and fast WiFi over a latte. Then when it hit 3pm we could order a $10 margarita pizza for an afternoon pick me up. Paradise Park Cafe is a great hangout space with straightforward eats and an energetic atmosphere. There are plenty of tables for gathering, including outdoor seating, and even a small play area for children. Coffee and food are decent! They offer a variety of espresso-based drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, brunch plates, and salads, with many vegan and vegetarian options. Their menu is very fairly priced. I personally love how thick their slices of carrot cake and banana bread are. Not sure where they source their pastries and it doesn't seem like they're made in house but they're tasty and they do the job! I've noticed they are at times inconsistent with the quality of their sandwiches/burritos/wraps -- sometimes they're stuffed and sometimes I'm left literally wanting more. It has a distinctive "community" feel to it, with patrons including people on dates, seniors, families with small children, groups of friends, and solo customers working or studying. I don't mind spending money on food or experiences. But $25 dollars for a sandwich and chai is not okay when the sandwich barely has meat on it and the chai was made with water when I asked for oat milk.... Paradise egg sandwich never goes wrong. Often when we are feeling lazy, don't have food we order breakfast from here. I have no clue what the actual cafe looks like but the food is always delicious. Service was good; cashier was polite. You pay when you order which makes this a great location for groups. I had the curried chicken sandwich on a baguette with bacon, apple and arugula. It was it was a little short on the curry flavor. I ended up taking the top pieces of the bread off as the ratio of curry chicken salad was short and I couldn't really taste the chicken because of the bread. I LOVE the Paradise salad with Vietnamese Chicken- tons of veggies that provide different textures and colors along with delicious protein. The tater tots were DAMN good though and my partner enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant. There's like 2 outlets in the whole place so it's not very study friendly. I just ordered this morning the kale smoothie and the paradise salad with grilled chicken and omg! Seriously what a refreshing meal I had. I WANT to like this place so very much. Over the years since it's opened in this location (12 years?) I have been consistently disappointed in the food. The people are lovely, and the ambiance is delightful. But every sandwich I've ever ordered the bread is rock hard. I can't even tell if the inside of the sandwich is any good because I have chomp down on the bread so hard I think I'm gonna lose my teeth. I feel like I am at war with the sandwich. I was a little worried about ordering from here due to the rating but there were enough vegan items that I decided to take a chance, and I am so glad I did because I loved what I got. I used DoorDash and everything was perfectly packaged. The vegan breakfast burrito was so delicious and flavorful, and not in the greasy heavy way that breakfast burritos usually are (which I can be in the mood for but sometimes I want something that doesn't sit as heavily in my stomach). It was definitely tangy, probably due to the tomatoes or maybe pickled onions, but so tasty especially with the chickpea tofu. Came with a side of tater tots which were still pretty crunchy even being delivery. I also ordered the paradise salad and added quinoa with extra chickpea tofu. It was so good, I loved the textures and especially loved the smokiness of tbe grilled asparagus (which usually isn't my favorite vegetable). The fried onions on top were tasty but I wanted to stay away from something more heavy so I wouldn't get that next time. I loved how healthy and flavorful everything was. This is my neighborhood go to spot for salads, breakfast, coffee, pastries etc. my favorite thing here is their paradise salad with the chicken sausage. But I also get the Cobb and some of the others as well. Everything is always tasty. For parents: this place is awesome there is a kid corner with toys and comfy seating. Safe place for kids to play and they can snack on muffins and you can eat your own food and enjoy some coffee. HUGE parent win. I don't know why more places don't do this. It is pretty busy and good for them so I tend to order ahead for my lunch but also when I come to get a quick muffin and coffee it's no problem. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu was confusing because there would be a vegan/veg symbol but had meat on it? Like what? The ban mi had the wrong type of bread. Avocado toast, more like avocado basic bread. The breakfast burrito average. The tot dish, greasy and mediocre. Our coffee drinks were meh. Staff was friendly. They only had one bathroom for customers and someone was taking a long poo. They're surprisingly a lot tastier than we expected, I think the pico de gallo definitely took it to the next level. Despite being accused by the business owner, this is not a fake review. I attended the establishment on September 28th with a friend and the total for our two meals was 34.89. I was served a vegan breakfast burrito with a side of hashbrowns, which were likely bought frozen from the store. My friend was served a bagel with lox. For some reason, the lox and cream cheese were served on the side and had to be put together. Both I and my friend were disappointed with the quality of the food, which arrived after more than a 30 minute wait. This place always looks busy every time we've driven by so we finally checked it out for brunch while out running errands. Cute outdoor space, dog friendly. You order inside at the counter and they bring the food out. We ordered the grilled cheese, totchos, and pear smoothie. The woman who took our order said our smoothie would be right out. After 15 minutes we went back inside and asked about the smoothie and it was obvious she forgot about it. We also asked her to turn on the heat lamp which she also forgot about. She said she would get right on it. Another 15 minutes pass and a waiter brings out our food. We ask about the smoothie and heat lamp and he doesn't know anything about the smoothie. They forgot again but he did turn on the heat lamp. Finally at the end of the meal our smoothie came out and it was BOMB like 10/10 so good best smoothie of my life and best thing we had while we were there. The entrees we got were good not great, my totchos were cold and the grilled cheese wasn't cooked through so there was layers of unmelted cold cheese. Mehhhh. read more
