Delicious pizza, attentive service and well organized restaurant. Razza has serving pizza down to a science and their expanded interior really allows for a more enjoyable experience that doesn't feel as tight and cramped as other pizza spots in NYC. We went with all-classics for our trip here including the Kale Salad, Meatballs (with Ricotta) and a FUNGHI + SANTO pizza. To me, the meatballs were the star of the show. Rich, flavorful and a generous portion of ricotta surrounding a handful of delicious balls of meat. It felt perfectly seasoned and flavorful without being overly heavy or meaty. Our server recommended keeping the sauce in case we wanted to dunk any of our pizza crusts. That was a great idea, though his suggestion for a FUNGHI pizza fell a bit short. I've heard great things about it online so was a bit disappointed that it felt a bit bland and the lack of proper red sauce made it less attractive compared to the meat-forward Santo. Still, based on the number of reviews raving about the FUNGHI maybe it's just me and I think if you have enough people to split a few pies it's worth trying and seeing for yourself. Finally, I also liked how there were separate entrances and exits for pick-up / delivery orders that was separate from the main dining area so the space didn't feel crowded by Uber Eats and people waiting for pick-up. All in all, I found NYC pizza, especially from Massara (the sister restaurant of Rezdora) to be better. But still, no knock to Razza here and worth a visit if you live in NJ!
GET THE MEATBALLS AND RICOTTA. Wow I am still thinking about them weeks later. They were so soft and flavorful. The crusts of the pizzas were very light and had that wood fired taste. The food was phenomenal. The only reason this place is a 4 is because the price is insane. I'm not used to eating at this location often so I'm not sure if the pricing is typical but it was pretty pricey for $24-$30 for a personal pizza. Great experience though and would recommend :)
Honestly, the experience is hard to describe in one word. The pizza itself was seasoned well. The Margherita and mushroom pies had nicely balanced tomato sauce and good cheese flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. However, the crust was burnt enough to affect the whole meal. The first slices were fine, but by the end it felt like chewing on charcoal. The smoky aftertaste stayed in my throat. The grapefruit cocktail didn't taste like grapefruit at all -- more like artificial lychee syrup. I took one sip and left it. Seating was also disappointing. It felt like they expanded into a neighboring café space without updating it. The lighting wasn't harsh, just very plain and flat, and the decor didn't match the main restaurant. The whole area felt unfinished and lacking atmosphere. The meatballs were just okay -- very standard, nothing memorable. In summary, while the pizza flavors were solid, the burnt crust, strange seating situation, and bad cocktail made the overall experience just average. Definitely reserve ahead if you're going.
My friend mentioned I should try Razza out since I love pizza. I had this place bookmarked for some time and finally was able to stop by. Made reservations via Resy. There are two entrances, facing the building, the door on the left is the entrance to restaurant and the right is entrance for pickup (I went to the door on the right.. that's how I know). Place is dim but not too dark. Ate at the bar and it was nice. Ended up getting the Pepperoni ($28) and Burrata ($26) pizza. The pizza is Neapolitan-style. Both pies were solid especially the burrata, it was really interesting bc it didn't have a cheese pull but it was burrata cheesy. The dough was good and chewy. I obviously had a Coca Cola ($3) to wash down the pizza. Overall had a good experience and will try to get a table the next time I come back. * Highly recommend making reservations * Good service
I've been here 4-5 times already, and the experience has been consistently excellent every single time. We always start with the bread & butter tasting, which comes with three different flavored butters. The bread is served fresh and warm, and it's such a simple yet perfect way to begin the meal. Coming to the pizza -- absolutely amazing. We've tried the Margherita and Funghi, and both are outstanding. The pizzas are thin, light, and full of flavor, with a crust that's just perfect. It truly feels like authentic Italian-style pizza, and it's easy to see why this place is often called one of the best pizza spots around. I hype this place up all the time in front of my family and friends because it genuinely lives up to it. One thing to note: last-minute reservations can be difficult, so planning ahead is definitely recommended. Consistently great food, great quality, cozy vibes and a place I'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
We were visiting friends in Jersey City and they suggested we come here for dinner. Apparently it's very popular. Super cozy, intimate vibe with dim lighting. Seems like you definitely need a reservation. We had a 8:30pm Saturday reservation but weren't seated until 9pm. They specialize in Neapolitan style pizza. We started with the bread and butter and the meatballs with ricotta. The bread and butter was very fresh but not sure if it needs to be a menu item at $10. For pizzas, 4 of us shared the yellow margherita, calabrese, and burrata. They were all outstanding. The yellow margherita was unexpectedly my favorite. We actually didn't order the burrata, but it came on the house which was a nice surprise. They have a great drink selection as well. Two of us shared a bottle of vermentino and the other two had a few cocktails. I would happily dine here again and highly recommend.
Razza absolutely lives up to the hype. I love all of their pizzas, but the Cavolini is hands-down my favorite -- perfectly balanced and so flavorful (love the anchovy, lemon and brussel sprouts combo). The bread and butter tasting is such a fun and delicious way to start the meal, and the meatballs and kale salad are just as impressive. Cocktails are excellent, ambiance is warm and inviting, service is great and honestly, it's totally worth the wait. I never wait for pizza, but this is the rare exception. Without a doubt, Razza is my favorite pizza spot in Jersey!
We didn't have a reservation so got here right when they opened and we were seated pretty quickly. For a group of 5, we got the meatball appetizer and three pizzas. I'm not a meatball lover but those are some of the best meatballs I've ever had. The sauce was also flavorful and fabulous. The pizzas were all pretty good, with the crust being the highlight for me. Not sure I'd classify the pizza as life changing, but still was a decent meal.
This was our first time trying New York-style pizza, and it was solid! The crust was thick and crispy, but not overly so. They have a wide variety of pizzas, and the burrata one was absolutely to die for -- fresh, simple, but packed with flavor. The meatball with ricotta is a must-try; I even used the pizza crust to dip into it. The butter and bread are also a solid choice, and the panna cotta for dessert was super good. The space inside is huge, but definitely make a reservation. The ambiance is dim and fancy, which really sets the mood. Overall, a spot I'd happily come back to!
Came here with high hopes as I've seen Razza written up so many times for their pizza. And don't get me wrong, the pizza is good. But if you live anywhere in the five boroughs, there's probably comparable (or even better) pizza in your own backyard. I had planned to come here right when they opened at 3 pm, but traffic thwarted those plans. Still, they were able to accommodate us, we just had to be out in an hour (which was more than doable). I kicked things off with a Hugo Spritz which was sweeter than others I've had. The homemade bread and butter was as good as everyone says it is and honestly my favorite thing that we ordered here. Don't skip it! For pizzas, we went with the seasonal corn pizza and the Di Natale. Both were good - the corn was very fresh and added a nice touch to the white pie, and the Di Natale was definitely inventive in flavors. The crust fell flat for me though. It was dry and didn't have much flavor. TBH, I've had better pizzas with less fanfare down the street at Porta. If you're in the area and can get a seat I would say this place is worth trying, but I don't think I'll trek here from Queens again if I'm not already in the area.
I found the food to be ok and the service was fine. My friend really enjoyed the chickpeas and meatballs. The hazelnut pizza was good, different. The margarita pizza was ok, I've been told it's one of the best in JC. I found the sauce to be bland. The crust was good though. For me, i didn't love the food, it wasn't bad and it was busy and other tables seemed to really love the food. It just didn't resonate with me as much.
Here's the deal: another can't miss meal at Razza . A Top notch Neapolitan pizza with an amazing crust. Not shown in pictures are the bread and butter, sample platter, meatballs, and delicious beet salad all worth trying! read more

Razza is located in downtown Jersey City and it is definitely a vibe place. The entire establishment gives very rustic vibes. The place is always packed. It can also be very hard to get a reservation. I really enjoy their corn pie here. It has a nice kick to it and bring some good heat, they also offer a bread service where you get to try a variety of different spreads, which I found to be very unique. It's not one of my favorite pizza spots in New Jersey, but if I was in the area and wanted pizza, I would come here. read more

Great service. I was seated quickly as a walk in at the bar where the bartenders were super attentive. Served with tap water from a glass bottle (left with me for easy refills) and I got a Hugo Spritz. I ordered the kale caesar which was delicious. Creamy dressing and really good croutons, covered in cheese. I ordered the margherita pizza which was delicious. The crust held up well, ever by the last piece. read more
I've been hearing about Razza for a while now, and they never have reservations available last minute. I finally made the commitment to come out here and made a reservation weeks in advance. I had really high expectations but unfortunately, my experience fell flat. Don't get me wrong, Razza is a solid pizza place, but for the prices and wait, I'm just not sure it was worth it for me. As for how the night went, we were seated right away. The interior is dimly lit and nice for a casual date night. I will warn that it is a bit tight and the tables are pretty close together. I ordered the Santo and while I could tell that the ingredients were fresh, I couldn't taste the chilli oil at all. I thought it would be an explosion of flavor but it was just a standard pizza in my opinion. My drink was much the same, just a little bit of flavor. Not bad by any means, but not memorable. My whole night here was just alright. It's worthy of a try as the pizza was good, but again, I really would want a mind blowing experience for these prices so probably won't be returning. read more
The pizza here is good and is much better than some other pizza places in the area. Even though the pizza was pretty thin and ingredients seemed to be lacking, the slices were consistent with a fair amount of char and they did not fall flat or get soggy. Service was also pretty good as well considering we got a spot right when they opened...it could only be booked through Resy. I think all the hype surrounding this place and the "exclusive" experience of being able to snag a table since they're open for no more than 7 hours a day is what drives people to come here. Ambiance feels like that of a fancy restaurant but at the end of the day, it's just pizza. While the pizza was good (we got pepperoni and yellow margarita), it wasn't anything that blew us out of the water enough to justify paying around $28 per pizza. read more

I'm not a pizza expert, but I've made enough Neapolitan pies to know that floppy slice = bad pizza. And Razza did not deliver the flop, so in my mind, they equal good 'za. We got the Yellow Margherita, which was loaded with delectable tomatoes jaunes and the classic Marg because who doesn't want their pie to have red sauce, cheese and basil Genovese? All good, all tasty, further complemented by friendly staff and a cherry, buzzy ambience where people seem to actually enjoy existing. Would I brave the crowds to come back? Nah. But I would brave the interwebs to make another resy ahead of time. Si, si. read more
The only reason for the 4 stars.....it's not my usual style of pizza. I'm more of NY slice kinda girl. I'm also a HUGE Lucali fan, and I haven't been able to find pizza and calzone better than at Lucali, but, Razza is very deserving of its high praises. It was very good. The meatballs and the caviar and bread and butter service were also a nice touch, but for me I'd pass on it next time, and just stick to the pizza. read more
Finally made it to Razza after not being able to make it during the week of Valentine's Day due to a last minute cancellation on our part. Of course, the reservations are super tight, but we ended up getting the reservation on a weekday so we could ensure the dining room seating and dinner at a fairly reasonable hour. Ambiance is nice and cute for a date night. We kept the items simple between the both of us. We ordered the citrus salad (seasonal - not on the menu right now) to start. While I stuck with a beer, my girl ordered an Italian lemonade. The citrus salad was quite nice and fresh. For the pizza, we almost ordered the funghi, but went with the Di Natale to share between 2. It was the perfect size pie for 2. Great combination of toppings on the pizza. The nuts, raisins, and olives help complement the heat from the chili oil and garlic. The basil is always a nice touch. It was plenty, but not too many toppings to feel overbearing. To finish it off, we split a tiramisu between two. Great way to end a date night dinner. Will love to come back again. read more
Had an absolutely delicious dinner while catching up with a friend at Razza! Be sure to book ahead as we could only get a seat at the bar nearly a week in advance. Highly recommend dining family style to maximize options on this delicious menu! We shared the bread/butter flight, which comes with a substantial amount of bread, as well as the kale Caesar salad and burrata pizza. The salad was well dressed and topped with cheese but still light, and the pizza was a great mixture of crispy and doughy. I would have loved a little bit more cheese on the pizza. Also recommend wearing layers as the pizza oven and body heat can make the space quite warm. I absolutely recommend Razza! read more

Heard that this is one of the places to go in Jersey City so had to try it out while in the area. We had a reservation on the weekend for right when they open for a late lunch. We were seated right away and found that the service was overall friendly. We ordered a pizza, salad, and meatballs for our meal followed by tiramisu and cake for dessert. Everything was solid and my favorite was the pizza and the meatballs which were both had good flavor. Cute spot all in all with good vibes - worth a shot if in the area. read more

This is one of the best pizza spots in New Jersey, so a reservation is required. If you want one during prime time weekend hours, consider making it a few weeks in advance. The ingredients of these pizzas are incredibly fresh, from the basil to the cheese. The service is great and, I wasn't expecting this, but the drinks were great too. Wish I remembered which one I ordered. The ambiance was calm, music was not loud and you could have a conversation. There was an area to pick up and take pizzas to go, so that's an option if you are unable to make a reservation. read more
This place definitely lives up to its hype! We finally got a reservation a few weeks in advance. They have a cozy waiting area with heaters along with coat racks near the door. When we arrived, they were setting up our table of 5 and we were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation time. Walk ins were only available at the bar. We saw SO many people getting take outs. Our personal favorites were the la rossa and di natale pizzas. I was very surprised how good the pizza was without cheese! Their kale caesar salad was also very good. Highly recommend Razza if you want to try one of the best pizzas in the country... Even better than New York pizza! read more
Soooo wanted to love it here, but the pizza was just very average for us. For over a decade I've been wanting to come to Razza, but I just never made the trip to Jersey City. From the glowing reviews, including 3 stars from the New York Times, to the many accolades, it always felt like it was going to be a special pilgrimage if I ever came ... and that day FINALLLLLY came after we made reservations for a recent Fall Saturday evening for our family of 4. We arrived right on time for our 6pm reservation and, as expected, the restaurant was already bustling. The oven was burning hot, the pizza was being whisked to tables and the drinks were flowing for some. Spacing was reasonable inside, although tables were literally right next to each other so you didn't have to even do much eavesdropping to hear hot topics from your neighbors. HOWEVER, there were 2 dining rooms to the place, which I didn't even realize until I visited the restroom. We were quickly seated after we arrived and, as always, we were WELL-PREPARED on what we were going to order on this special evening. First, we started with the Meatballs with Ricotta. There were 6 meatballs in total (I believe). Tangy, tasty, OK. Our daughter loved the meatballs, so definitely kid-approved, but adult? It was good, but not extraordinary by any means. Next, THE main event and what we came for. THE PIZZA. I had been waiting a decade for this. Yes, expectations were sky high and why shouldn't it be? All the reviews, accolades, difficulty making Saturday reservations. It all added up. We ordered 2 pies - the Corn Pie and Funghi. When both pies came out, they looked pretty good, but, unfortunately, both pies were just OK. Like not horrible, but not spectacular either. The Funghi was better because of the mushrooms, which added more flavor. After eating a slice of the Corn Pie, it just seemed a bit gimmicky in our minds and wasn't all that different than any other pizza. To be honest, there wasn't much flavor in either pie, especially the Corn Pie. Disappointed? Definitely. After a decade of waiting, this was one where the hype just outpaced reality. By no means was the pizza terrible, but, it was nowhere near our top 5 or 10 for that matter. Having been to some of the BEST of the BEST in the country - Roberta's, Di Fara and L&Bs in Brooklyn, Frank Pepe in New Haven, John's of Bleeker St. in NYC - unfortunately, Razza didn't come close to any of them. read more
Honestly, the pizza here is up to par with (maybe even better than) some of the famous pizza places in Brooklyn and Manhattan (l'industrie, rubirosa). We ordered the burrata pizza and the calabrese pizza. The dough was amazing-- super thin and crispy. The pizzas were also very flavorful in their own respective ways-- burrata was more fresh/tomato-based, and the calabrese was more cheesy and rich in flavor. Tiramisu was amazing. I'm certain there was much skepticism about the 2017 "New York Times" article that asked, "Is New York's Best Pizza in New Jersey?" One visit to Razza might just turn naysayers into believers; years after the article praised their pies, Razza still attracts a crowd. On Monday, we made a same-day Resy reservation for 9pm, the only available time slot. On a menu of 15-20 creative options, we seemed to have picked what were arguably two of the less elaborate pizzas. The prototype for what all Margherita pizzas should be resides at Razza. Theirs is $25 & has a drizzle of olive oil & sea salt to bring out the mild, melty mozzarella. Our second pick, the Tomato Pie ($23), showcased tangy & fresh red & yellow tomato sauces, & was topped with 24-month parm. Toppings didn't weigh down the pizza's nicely-chewy thin crust. The bookends to dinner, appetizers & dessert, were just as well made as the pizzas. I didn't try the Salumi Misti ($18) our table ordered, but I ate the lion's share of Ceci ($9) -- delicious chickpeas with olive oil & parm. Tiramisu ($14) was standard issue, however the Panna Cotta with salted caramel ($14) is what my dessert dreams are made of. Am not willing to share this next time. A warm, comfortable eatery, Razza danced their way into my top spot for pizza in & around Jersey City. I hope they liked me because they'll be seeing my face often. read more

Razza is a beautiful restaurant serving the best Pizza in New York, in New Jersey! Very modern looking and minimalistic interior, definitely feel a tinge of NOMA influence on that. Pizza is great, and I am all for brick oven, however ours tasted a bit too burnt for my liking. Cocktails were tasty, I would love to give it another go, but not running back anytime soon. read more
I've never had such a thin crusted pizza that was so delicate and light in its crispness but still has a bit of that New York slice springiness and could also support the hot tomato sauce and chunks of burrata. There were no soggy bottoms in this pie. It's like a magic trick that defies the laws of gravity. I recommend ordering kale caesar salad and meat balls as sides as they were both incredible. If I had to nitpick something, it would be that the outer crust is a larger percentage of the pizza than I would have liked bc I don't love crusts and their crust is a little too burnt for my taste (this is a "me preference" though bc I really don't enjoy anything burnt bc carcinogens). The taste of the tomato sauce is vibrant and bright. The service was also very good - I really loved our waitress, she was super genuine, friendly, and great at her job. Cocktail was pretty good but not very special bc it's not a mixology cocktail place so as expected. read more

Wonderful gourmet pizza restaurant in downtown Jersey City. We had the Santo and Pepperoni pizzas. The onion on the Santo was more sliced than shaved, which gave it a really strong onion flavor. The pepperoni was really good and what most people would expect from a pepperoni pizza. Both pizzas had thin, firm and perfectly chewy crusts. Their pizzas are a little on the small side and a really hungry person could probably finish one themselves. Note that Friday nights are really busy. We couldn't get a reservation, so put our names down at the door and had to wait about 20-25 min. We were able to order drinks while we waited though. Could have been worse. Food came out fast and servers were friendly. read more

4.5 / 5.0 - Razza has been named one of the best pizzerias in the US, so as a pizza-lover, I had to come across the river to try it. We've only ordered takeout, but the restaurant had a nice, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, so I'd like to try dining in one day to eat pizza right out of the oven. So far, we've tried 3 pizzas and a salad. For our first pizza, we chose the Burrata ($26+), without garlic, which was delicious. The burrata was plentiful and so creamy. We were definitely hooked. Our second visit, we ordered the Margherita ($25+) and Funghi ($28+). I loved the Funghi, which is a delicious combination of fresh mozzarella, flavorful mushrooms, shaved onions, chives and parmigiano. Highly recommended! Last night, we ordered the Funghi again and the Green Salad ($18+). The salad was overpriced for the very little amount of greens you get. The pizza was delicious, though. Looking forward to trying more pizzas! read more

We sat at the bar at Razza and really loved the cool ambiance. The service was top-notch, too, our server was super attentive and never let our water glasses get empty, which I really appreciated. As for the food, the bread tasting was a great way to start. We ordered the Calabrese pizza, which had a perfect balance of spicy heat and cheese, but the Hazelnut pizza was the real surprise. It was so good and sweet, it honestly tasted just like kettle corn! Definitely grab a seat at the bar if you can. read more

The hype is real here. I love pizza and trying all kinds I can tell you that this business does it right... like top notch level! The best I've ever had 100% The service is enjoyable and will accommodate your requests with no issues. Ambiance is nice and the dim lighting is just right, but the food... wow, just perfect! It's worth every bite. They even have a guy who inspects the pizzas before they get to your table. I like seeing that quality control in a restaurant, makes me feel like my money is well spent. FYI: Reservations can only be made on Resy, and it's best to reserve way in advance. I got extremely lucky making a reservation on the same day. read more
When the clamzone was introduced I suffered the indignity of the table next to me ordering the LAST clamzone. And we had an early reservation. Sigh. In the interim year or two, the clamzone came on and off the menu until recently it was added back on select days, so we made a reservation and this time we did get to experience the clamzone. Everyone at my table liked it, but I really liked it. Some would pass on ordering it again for $28, but I say no! The clam juice, calzone bread, leeks and whatever else they put in there.... meld into extremely tasty goop. On this visit I also tried the yellow margherita (too sweet for me) and the potato pie, which I hated. I love potato pies, but this version used raclette cheese (a favorite of mine) and I just didn't care for it on a pizza. read more
RAZZA won my heart. All things are great here: salads, pizza, and even dessert!! Kale Caesar was the perfect starter and the portion was big. I liked the dressing and all the cheese on top. My friend also wanted to get the bread with butter - also great but next time I'll pass..too much bread including the pizza. Then we ordered the cheesy mushroom pizza Funghi and spicy fermented chili pizza Calabrese. Mushrooms are fragrant and reminded me of when my family used to forage them. Very delicious! Calabrese pizza has the perfect amount of heat. It's made with fermented chili paste and three types of cheeses. Loved it. And dessert.. very unexpectedly delicious. I generally would never get dessert from a pizza joint but I'm so glad I did. It was an olive oil cake with some kind of caramel and homemade whipped cream. The BEST, the VERY BEST I've ever had. I generally go an olive oil cake whenever it's on the menu and what I've had before doesn't even come close. I can't wait to come back and try more food here. Bummer it's all the way in Jersey. But New Yorkers, just know it's worth a trip (if you have a reservation). read more

This review is for a weekend dinner. I will preface this by saying this might have been an off night because I know many people rave about this place. Unfortunately, my experience was a bit disappointing. I came from Brooklyn and likely won't go out of my way to come back. Ambiance / Service: there are two entrances - the more open, bright modern area is the check in for take out and the other side that is much more dimly lit is check in for reservations. Ambiance is very casual. There's a very small bar with seating. Overall service was fine - waitress wasn't rude, but did not engage in any conversation with us at all aside from taking our order. Food: the reason for my 3 star review is solely the food. I'm a bit confused by my experience based on all the rave reviews. -Kale Caesar: this was not good. We didn't finish it. It had zero flavor and tasted like wet mayo on lettuce. Not quite sure what happened with this. -Meatballs: this has a lot of potential. Meatballs melt in your mouth and the sauce was good. It just needed more salt (we had to ask the waitress for salt for the table). -Pepperoni Pizza: best thing we ordered. I enjoyed this. -Corn Pie: I think this might be a seasonal item. This has potential, but was underwhelming. The pie was pretty dry: needed more shaved onions and more chili paste. Overall, I wouldn't go out of way to come here, especially with how many good pizza places are in Manhattan and Brooklyn (but again, could've been an off night for me). I would come here if I was already in the area and there wasn't a long wait. read more
I have not been in the restaurant since the expansion so my comparison is between pre expansion and post. I was impressed by their ability to adjust for vegan diets. The space is nice though some signage of where to enter for in restaurant dining and pick up could be improved. The service is what was off and will probably make it so we don't eat there again. 90 minute reservations are not unusual but after a delay of getting our pizzas... we were asked 6 times whether we were wanted to box our pizza. Long gap between visits until now. Don't live in the area but remembered dining at Razza in 2017 amid the buzz of the NYT Best Pizza in New York article. Finally returned and was glad I did. Yellow Margarita 'za was excellent! Nice cocktail, wine and beer selection. Carry the Amex Platinum card? Razza is a Resy restaurant and is eligible for the $100 quarterly dining credit. Don't give someone a reason not to buy something. Enter: the kale caesar salad. Romaine is easy to enjoy, while kale tends to divide opinions. Unless you're an incredible chef who can work magic with kale, stick to romaine for a Caesar--that's good merchandising. A Caesar is essentially greens and dressing, yet on NYC menus, they're often priced the same as the other salads that have a bit more oomph. From a value perspective, I believe a Caesar should come with anchovies (you can always ask for them without)--this one was without. As for the croutons, I appreciate that they were homemade with leftover bread, but they weren't seasoned or olive-oiled, just baked. That's not a crouton; that's baked bread. And now for the pizza. Drumroll, please. The best pizza in NY is not in Jersey City. Granted, I only tried the burrata, but it wasn't better than L'Industrie's burrata slice. The crust was too crunchy for my liking--I prefer a little pillowiness, a crust you want to finish. Maybe some of the other pies "wow,"but the "best pizza," as a whole category, is not in Jersey City. One last thing re: the caesar: in my opinion, bad architecture is when a house looks like it was just placed on top of the land, rather than being integrated into it. Really great pizza, fast service and great vibes. Dine in is way better than takeout. Highly recommend this place. Reservations are needed and for the most part are not too hard to get unless it's the weekend. read more

We arrived at 3:04pm and they open at 3-there was already a line. We were able to get seating, but only at the bar. Worst seating ever. My partner is 6'1, and if sitting comfortably, his heels aren't able to touch the ground. My legs dangled awkwardly and the woman sitting next to me gave up and just stood. There is no ledge on the bar or on the chairs to rest your feet on. Besides the constant discomfort, the service was good, the food was good. The special corn pizza was very good, the yellow tomato margherita pizza lacked a little flavor. A little bigger than a personal pie, the prices are a bit high for what they are. About $26 for each pizza to feed one person. read more

Yes. You get down at Grove St station and it's a 5 min walk from there.

I believe they do but rarely do they have. Website says reservations are a must. Highly suggest you make a reservation on Resy.
