This place is very hyped so it nearly impossible to get resy unless you do it in advance or someone cancel. I have been lucky doing walk in so far. However the last time we did have to sit at the bar and wait full hour. I have been here a few times and recently tried the corn here which is good but when I compare to esquite I like that a bit better. But it was still yummy! Shockingly, I was hesitant when we ordered the squash pie but it was delicious! I am also big on bread and butter so I did enjoy that as a starter here! One of Jersey's best pizza. The pizza is very consistent. The corn pie is back which is enough reason to visit. It's made with NJ's fresh sweet corn, onions, and cheese. It's the perfect bite and ask for some chili powder which lacks in spiciness honestly but a good topping regardless. I typically had pepperoni to add the perfect saltiness to my slices. The tiramisu was delicious and everything you expect in a traditional dessert. I could do without the watermelon drink. I tried my sister's non alcoholic pomegranate drink and this was bomb. I would order that drink a dozen times over if I could.! Before opening hours, there's already a line. If you don't have a reservation I would suggest coming before 3 or 3:45 for a seat. Went to Razza for an early dinner on the day before 4th of July. We had a 5:15 pm reservation and the restaurant wasn't totally full. Based on the facts that it was early and a holiday weekend, you would think we wouldn't have had to wait nearly an hour for our food to come out... but we did. We started with the meatballs which aren't huge but you get six per order. The meatballs came out in less than 5 minutes from when we ordered. Given how quickly they came out, we had high expectations our pizzas wouldn't take longer than 30 minutes. The meatballs were tasty. For pizzas, we wanted to order the zucchine pie - but however, at 5:15 pm - they had already run out... ? Instead, we got the Santo, the project hazelnut, and burrata. When the pizza did finally come out, it was tasty. I liked the Santo the most. The staff was super apologetic and threw in an extra free dessert. It's a beautiful establishment inside and out. Service was great. Very attentive and food came out quick. I had the highest of expectations and left disappointed. When I travel there are certain local type places I want to try just to see the differences from home. These usually include pizza, burgers and fried chicken. This spot is right smack in the middle between two of my locations in Jersey so stopping here was a no brainer. I can't believe this spot isn't talked about even more than the local/easy coast reputation. Walking up to it, the building itself is striking. I can't quite explain it but it's stands out in its architecture. Walking in it's just gorgeous. Distressed walls with greens and flaura decorate throughout. But let's get to the fun stuff. I ordered the margarita and the meatballs. I probably have never been happier. The dough is just a little cheesy and a little carbon and a lot perfect on the pizza. I haven't eaten a whole pizza by myself since back in the day when I was bulking up. MTV still played music videos back then if that gives you any idea. But this pie was so flavorful that I couldn't stop. Then of course there was the meatballs. Probably the size of a baby's head and perfectly cooked and seasoned. I'm always looking for an artisan pizza spot but most do not live to the hype. I arrived here five minutes after it opened and there was a line to get in. When I got in the only available seats were bar seating. With out hesitation that is what I went with. Upon seating we were offered water and not long after we placed our orders. They do have beer and other alcoholic drinks there. While waiting I noticed that the place is dark but that gives the vibe for the place. One thing to note. At the bar seating area there is a lack of rails for you to put your feet on and the chairs also do not have a foot rest. This makes it really uncomfortable for anyone shorter than 6ft tall. I really hope they fix that. My SO had to sit on the edge to put her on the floor and another patron eventually stood while waiting for her food because she was in pain trying to tippy toe. Wow. I understand why folks rave about this place. I was visiting from out of town and my friends, who are locals, took me there. It did not disappoint. The high ceilings made for an airy feel and you didn't have to strain to speak, even on a crowded night. The pizza was truly delicious, with a light crust that holds up well. Their bread is spectacular. It is wonderfully crust on the outside and so moist and chewy on the inside with a just a hint of sourdough tart. My only slight is that the apps are definitely on the small side, but I guess the leaves more room for pizza. read more

We made our reservation 30 days in advance because this place is very hard to get into. When we arrived, we were impressed that our reservation was immediately honored with none of the "you're lucky to be here" attitude other places with this type of buzz often have. After being seated, our waiter Chris came over with our menus and water for the table. We asked questions, and he gave very knowledgeable answers and recommendations. For our party of four, we split two appetizers, including an order of six meatballs which were outstanding, and came with a generous dollop of whipped ricotta on the top. The 12" artisans pizzas include classics, such as margarita and pepperoni, along with a rotating assortment based on seasonality and available ingredients. On our waiter's recommendation we ordered the Calabrese which is a white pizza with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, onions, and fermented chili paste which was AMAZING -- so tasty, with just the right touch of heat, and the crust was crispy and delicious. For our second pizza, we went old school with a classic pepperoni, featuring a generous amount of sliced pepperoni which turned into "little cups of love" in the cooking process, holding in the tasty oil within their curved wells. Great beer, wine, and cocktail selection, including a cappelletti spritz which was as good as being in Italy. To top it off, we ordered a shared dessert and even that exceeded expectations. The owner Dan, came out and we spoke with him and he shared that he has visited Italy over 30 times, including one specific time he classified as "the best day of his life."
