Tried Napoli's in Hoboken on a beautiful evening. Hoboken is always a cool stop, it has plenty of good places to try and go to. We were in the mood for pizza and found Napoli's. We started with plain wings, the wings were juicy and crunchy on the outside. The ranch paired with the wings was awesome. We each ordered a personal pizza. I ordered chicken bacon ranch and she ordered vodka pesto. I enjoyed them both but favored the vodka pesto. Pizza was crunchy and delicious. We left paying about 70 dollars with tip. My go to place for Hoboken Pizza. Their pies are huge and the pricing is very reasonable. I love love love the chipotle ranch chicken bruschetta. I was at first hesitant but the bruschetta they use is so good. The pizza isn't soggy and there's just so much topping. I also really like the Ciao bello with red sauce. I came to Napoli's in Hoboken to satisfy my craving for some casual and homey Italian food - and they did just that. We tried the 1/2 vodka (add pepperoni) 1/2 spicy buffalo chicken pizza in the personal size, as it seemed to be two of their most popular pizza flavors. This "personal" size pizza was actually quite sizable, 3 slices of each flavor and definitely enough to share alongside our pasta. Both flavors were good, but maybe my expectations were too high. The vodka sauce was flavorful, but I was a little disappointed by the amount of pepperonis they gave us when we added that topping to one side. The buff chicken had a good classic buffalo flavor but wasn't that spicy, and came with your choice of either ranch or blue cheese drizzled on top. Although a little soggy as expected, the pieces of fried chicken tender on the pizza were well coated in Buffalo flavor. However, the Blackened Chicken Pasta honestly blew me away. Tons of large chicken pieces, peppers, and onion all tossed together with penne in a creamy Cajun sauce. The blackened flavor really came through and this pasta was so yummy and satisfying, while not being too heavy or overly creamy. Penne was also a perfect al dente! My only gripe with this establishment was the cleanliness. Our tap waters had a pretty bad taste, I actually ended up ordering a Coke as I did not want to drink the water. It smelled a bit sour in the air as well. However, many of the best family run restaurants out there are often not the cleanest or nicest ambiance, so I wasn't expecting top tier hygiene - but the bad water taste made me slightly uneasy. Our server was very attentive and patient with any questions we had, and made our overall experience wonderful. It seems like this is a really popular to-go spot for locals in the area, the dining room is smaller but decorated with cute NYC subway theming which I loved as an MTA enthusiast. Stopped in on a Monday since I was off from work and I wanted to take advantage of the lunch specials they just brought back last month. The lunch specials are a great value - $9 for a large hot sandwich with a small salad and a 20 oz soda - great deal. I ended up taking half of my chicken parm sandwich home since it was so big! My husband and I also shared two slices (plain and margarita) for $6 as a starter course (comes with 20 oz soda as well). The slices didn't feel like the same quality as they are when you get a full pie of pizza - they were pretty thin but still tasty. The only issue was the service inside was SO slow. It wasn't even crowded but it took a long time for the server to come by and take our order and a long time for the food to come out. I'd definitely get this lunch deal again though - it's so nice to see that restaurants are starting to offer specials again. I wouldn't have stopped here for lunch otherwise. read more

i was super excited to try napolis and heard a lot of good things. the inside of the restaurant is giving a classic ny/nj italian vibe, brick and wood all over. it's pretty charming and has some new york decor. one note is the restaurant had this kind of sewage smell to it, it wasn't super strong but was definitely present while we dined in. the tap water also tasted pretty bad. my partner ordered a coke because they were so adverse to the waters taste. the food itself was solid though, we got a half half personal pizza with spicy buffalo chicken and a vodka with pepperoni added. crust was alright and the toppings were tasty. sauce was solid and the spicy buffalo actually had a nice kick to it. buffalo side was super cheesy compared to the vodka side which was interesting but i didn't mind. they didn't put too much pepperoni though which is something to note. the pasta was the highlight , we got the cajun blackened chicken pasta and it was delicious. flavor wise it had tons of spices and was plenty cheesy. tons of chicken and a great portion for the relatively cheap price compared to what we normally see for pasta. service was good and attentive too. will note one of the tvs was oddly purple and distorted looking read more

My son got a white pizza and it was fantastic. Cheese pull. The ricotta was so pretty. Almost too pretty to eat. The pasta di Napoli was stunningly good. Rich, hot, flavorful. So tasty. When in NJ one of my favorite Pizza spots is Napolis.. The Pizza is simply delicious. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Cooked to perfection and all around tastes great. My personal favorite is their Vodka cheese pie. It's so good. Seriously. They also have other delicious dishes you can order. Can't go wrong. When the Pizza came out it looked so amazing and I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture. Their staff is always on point and very accommodating. The place itself is a pleasant venue. Great area. Nice set up. Inside is small. Outside seating pretty cool. The staff is young and doesn't care. Be ready for poor service. The caprese salad wasn't good. Claiming " beefsteak tom " then serving thin sliced 5x6 tomato is nasty. The fresh mozzarella wasn't soft fresh barely any fresh basil balsamic or EVOO. so 1 star there. The arancini was descent was just rice peas. Needed more seasoning. 3.5 stars. NY style pizza was good. But was not cooked good. Ovens weren't hot enough so wasn't cooked good. 3 stars pizza. Sauce was good not overwhelming, pepps were tasty. Would've liked a bit less oil, so I could scarf more slices down. Wings 5/5: wow! I really liked these buffalo wings. I've been here twice, first time getting pizza as our first meal after moving to Hoboken and second time getting a panini and sandwich for a midweek work lunch. The food hits the spot every time, and I'd rate Napoli's a solid 4 or 5 stars. However, the second time when we ordered the panini and sandwich for lunch, we got upcharged $3. When we asked why, the cashier said because the panini doesn't come with the option for a potato salad, which is the side I chose, so they charged us $3 extra. However, their menu (and chownow online ordering) clearly states that paninis come with a side of potato or macaroni salad. I was infuriated. We thought okay maybe it comes in a larger container so maybe $3 isn't so bad... we get home and it's a tiny tiny container, like the one you put takeout sauce in. It was a packed night and there were no available tables which is totally understandable but the white waitress with straight brown hair with the clip in it was very rude. She didn't have to be so aggressive and mean about not having enough room for our party. We would have been willing to wait but the energy and attitude was so surprising. every other time we have come the workers are very nice and respectful. Came back from NYC on a Saturday night-hard to find a place to eat for 5....but we saw Napolis, and they sat us right away! We knew we could be taking a risk...but it was a great one and we were so happy we did!! The wood fire pizza was top notch! I got the chicken parm and my hubby got the veal parm! This was my first time in Hoboken and I was looking for classic Italia food. The menu was filled with pizza, pasta, subs, and more. We weren't sure what to order and our server Justyn (a guy, don't get it twisted) has been there for 9+ years and was full of recommendations and modifications! He said you had to try the vodka pizza with fresh pesto. It was delicious! We started off with the garlic bread (side of vodka sauce) and gluten free meatballs. The pizza definitely stole the show. I had the Eggplant Parm here which is incredible!! Generation portion, breaded eggplant cooked and seasoned just right! On a second occasion I had their lunch deal which was two slices of their speciality pizza and a drink for $7.50! Incredible deal and quite satisfying. A while back, my sister and I were visiting Hoboken, when we chanced upon Napoli's Pizza. We ordered two slices of their margarita pizza, a Sprite, and a San Pellegrino sparkling water, and though I wish the pizza was slightly warmer, this was some tasty pizza nonetheless. I tried this pizza place on a Sunday afternoon with my family. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. This place offers a good amount of tables outside, which is nice for Hoboken. For the most part, we all came here to try the pizza. So we ordered a few different pies and split them all. But first, we started out ordering their chicken parm sliders, which came on garlic knot bread, and it was delicious. They came with a cup of extra sauce as well for dipping, and the chicken on garlic knots combo just blended perfectly together. Now for the pizzas. We had a large Margherita pie, a small Buffalo Chicken pie, and a small white pie with broccoli. My favorite of all these was the Margherita one. It had a nice crisp to it, and the sauce and cheese tasted great. I enjoy a classic plain pie as always. The Buffalo Chicken one was pretty good as well; perfect heat level. Amazing! Everything was incredible. The penne vodka pizza, the Napoli sliders (meatballs on garlic knots), Nutella pie, cheesecake, all amazing. It is a smaller place and no reservations, but they did everything they could to sit our large group as quickly and efficiently as possible. The owner is so nice, introduced myself because we have a mutual friend and he was so genuine and sweet. On top of how amazing it was, such reasonable prices for a top notch place in Hoboken. Pretty impressed with Napoli's. For some reason it took me a while to order from here, but once I did, I have now made it my go-to pizza delivery spot in Hoboken. Awesome that they let you customize your pizzas by the half pie, and their variety of toppings is legit. Try the vodka sauce chicken parm pie, or their barbecue chicken. Or go simple and get a regular pie with sausage. They have a lot of options and their personal pie fills you up unlike some other places in town. Love Napoli's! I've been spending some more time in Hoboken since my girlfriends moved there, and Napolis is our go-to spot to order in pizza/Italian. The food carries very well to their address and usually arrives hot and fresh. The delivery person is typically the same each time and he's very sweet! I've ordered to Jersey City and the pizza doesn't travel as well but the pastas and other entrees do. If you can eat in person, the food won't disappoint! I've tried a bunch off their menu at this point. I love their personal margarita pizza. The pizza dough is perfectly doughy and the cheese-sauce ratio is solid! Another favorite is their baked ziti or their rigatoni allá vodka (menu says penne vodka but I like to sub) with a side of their meatballs. I'm picky with meatballs and I'd say that Napolis makes some reliable ones with a tasty tomato sauce that isn't too salty or too sweet. Their chicken francese over spaghetti is delicious as well. My girlfriends have given me feedback that they don't enjoy Napoli's sandwiches, so something to keep in mind. I typically don't order sandwiches from here if I'm in the mood for a sandwich, so that's why I'm still giving them their 5! In terms of an in person dining experience/ambiance, the inside is quaint and cute but there's plenty of room for seating when I've dined in. It's more pizzeria vibes but the tables are spacious for a sit down meal for sure! read more
