Our 2nd Dodge lease was up, and we were specifically looking for the new 2021 Dodge Durango R/T (tow and go package). Razzari had one we wanted. Due to us living in the East Bay, we wanted to avoid wasted time on both ends, so my fiance called the dealership to get information on the car, and talk numbers. He spoke with Gordon, the Manager, and he was very attentive and had excellent follow through. He was transparent, and did what he realistically could to get us near a price we were comfortable with. Although the pricing was more than we were currently paying for our current lease, we knew times are different, so we were willing to justify the payments. We made the drive out to Merced, and fell in love with the suv, and secured the deal. After 3 different leases, this was the most simplest, painless and quickest lease process we've experienced. Had an oil change done while my 2020 Ram was in the shop for a cracked manifold in April 2026. Roy was great at getting my service contract to pay for the manifold but the oil change of all things was a disaster. Shortly after picking it up, I went to change the engine air filter and noticed it was covered in fresh oil. Took the air box off and saw about a 1/4 of a quart of fresh oil in the intake. Took it back to Razzari and a tech said that it's normal...don't think so man, you clearly overfilled the crankcase. Today (3 months later) I noticed dripping oil in the garage. I checked the oil filter and it was so loose it was about to fall off...not even remotely hand-tightened. So...combining the fact that Razzari has poor quality control in their service department AND the fact that they pitched me $4000 in "recommended maintenance" after nearly destroying my engine, I will never be going back to this laughable business. Avoid this place like the plague. Buyer beware. Take your business elsewhere. Last time I was here, they couldn't figure out that the issue with the car was a spark plug... they held the car for over 2 weeks, didn't fix it and made me pay $2,500 Took it to a different mechanic and they figured it out. This time I had several issues with the car and asked for a diagnosis. Seems like there are several things that need to be fixed... fine but then they quoted me $7,500 which was more than I bought the car for... so I said no, how much to just take it home. Jim said $750... then later calls my wife and says he misquoted me and it would be $1,500... So I go to pick up the car and they forgot to give me back the whole key. When I tried to call someone about this, service sent me to voicemail several times and then said to try coming by tomorrow morning, because people are off work at 5pm, I called them at 4:25pm... . Update 2/11/23 Showed up to see if they can find my key. James said "check the center console, we may have put it in there..." checked and nope... checked the possible spots, nothing... they have my key and I want it back. I was told if they can't find it they will cut me another one. I get better responses in person. They were able to make a replacement key from my other key. It only took a few hours out of my Saturday morning. I don't like to dis on local businesses, but don't treat me in a way where I have to warn other customers. Buyers beware! Absolute garbage service department, Jim the service manager is complete trash at his job, no communication skills whatsoever, nor does he know enough about auto mechanics to even properly operate as a service advisor much less as department manager. Multiple times they had opportunities to step up their game, I even went as far as to contact the general manager who never called me back either, only sent my message to the service & parts director Weston, who is literally just as bad at his job as Jim, these people don't value their customers only their money....If my vehicle isn't fixed properly the first time there will be a lawsuit too, I'm not bringing my vehicle in to this place multiple times to be jerked around. I drove to Razzari on July 5th to purchase a 2018 Chevy Volt. The buying experience was fine - Myles was very friendly and helpful. On July 20th, however, I had to get a jump at the airport because the 12-V starter battery was dead. Upon driving home, it was still dead - it hadn't charged at all during the drive. After measuring a voltage of 4.5V, I called Razzari and learned "oh yeah, we had to jump the battery just before showing you the vehicle." I took the vehicle into a dealership and they said the battery was bad. As the issue was clearly present at the time of the purchase, I would have thought it would be a no-brainer and that Razzari would have reimbursed me for the cost of the battery. But instead they said it is a used car and there is no warranty with the purchase. Very poor customer service to sell a car with a known issue and not make it right when the problem shows its head within 2 weeks of purchase!!! Update: David took care of the issue. This time they had my ram for two days and called to let me know they didn't know why it had no brakes still. They were absolutely willing to run up the insane price tag for exploration but no way! I still have no brakes and their Dodge Tech has no idea why after charging me to shoot in the dark with guesswork replacement. I have to say I am very happy with the customer service I received from this store. I bought my car in the bay area although I live in this area. I did not have a good experience with the dealership I purchased my car from when it came to taking it in for maintenance and recalls. I was hesitant to go to MERCED but the past experiences I had with them was good. So I decided to take my car in for the maintenance on the transmission. The manager asked me if I wanted her to take care of the recall that was on my car. I was surprised because usually I had to fight with the other place to did the recalls. I gave them my info they ran it gave me a ridiculous rate when I said take the rate down or give a couple grand off the truck they said no. Fine, next day I get an email from them so I call them saying hey I got an email from you guys did anything change? As in are you striking a deal with me? The manager very seriously said I helped with your deal yesterday and no nothings changed then hung up, A manager? You believe a manager gets the customer on the phone and not want to strike any deal, instead hang up on the customer? Mind you I had to drive 3 hours to pick up the truck as "they don't deliver" lol Fkn trash dealership- don't waste your time and money real dealers fight for your business, chip/car shortage or not, even in these times they try to make something happen, these guys don't give a shit about your business so better to give your hard earned money to someone else not these unprofessionals, they should be selling horse carriages not Jeep's. Antonio (Tony) was great at trying to find the right car for us, price it within our means and assist us with any concerns. Overall customer service with Tony was great! No complaints. For the facility itself, the dealership, the car was displayed to us extremely dirty with food crumbs on the floor and seats. This was driven by the owner. The vehicle was promised to be detailed for next day pickup, yet looked to have not been washed thoroughly and minimally detailed since there were still crumbs and dust throughout the car! Not to mention, the back of the passenger and driver seats have scratches in them that require complete replacements. We are now awaiting arrival of these parts. At about 7:45 am I stopped by about a month ago to get a quick oil change for my challenger in the express lane only to be told they do not do walk in oil changes... I don't live in merced & wanted to use a dodge dealership on my way to Fresno .. while inside, I wanted a cup of coffee and was told their machine was not working... ok it happens I guess .. about a month later (yesterday) I was back in Merced and had a nail in my tire, the tire pressure was reading very low so I stop by to have it repaired or get a new tire because I have rims and tire protection on my car.. they agree to look at it to see if it was fixable or whether they had to order a tire, once again while in the waiting room I go to grab a cuppa coffee, and guess what? I WAS TOLD THE COFFEE machine was broken.. I reminded him that it was broken about a month ago and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and said "I'm not in charge of the coffee"... About 2hrs later ... The service representative calls my phone & tells me that They were able to patch the tire but I needed to make sure I replaced my door lock because it was broken... I told him there was nothing wrong with the door lock when I brought the car in and I was sitting in the lobby looking at him call me from his desk and I'll be out to speak with him... I asked him why the technician was messing with my door locks? There was nothing wrong with the door locks, I very rarely even use those door locks because I use the remote key or the button on the door... It's just odd to me why somebody would be messing with the door locks to begin with, needless to say I wasn't very happy because I don't live in Merced am the door lock part would not be in until the following day... needless to say I'm going to stop at Starbucks before I go because I know they won't have any coffee .. and I'm betting they will not offer me any compensation for My inconvenience having to drive 40 miles to get my doorlock fix that they broke... if they do give me any kind of compensation I will edit this review and post what was done for me, if this review stays the same they didn't offer me anything which is totally unacceptable.. I just feel as if this dealership does not care about their customers by any means, starting with a month ago not offering to perform my oil change like I requested, whether there were walkins or not there was only one car in the drive up line and it was like the guys didn't even want to work and get out of there a little cubicle.. and for a coffee machine to be broken for over a month only shows the lack of respect they have for the people waiting in their lobby area... The lobby area with the uncomfortable $20.20-year-old office chairs.. and the service representative wanted me to pay for that lock, and was hoping I wouldn't say anything. Made an appointment to get the oil changed on my vehicle. After waiting twenty minutes the service tech took the vehicle that came after me for the same service. When I asked the service clerk what happened all I was told was "they must have forgotten about yours on accident". When I told him there's a reason I made an appointment he just said, I'll check right now. But he was helping another customer out. I then told him to let me know if they're not going to have time so I can take my vehicle to another dealership, and instead of saying they'll take care of it he says it's up to you. I called Razzari and they were booked too, but the service person had me hold and connected me with commercial service.
