I am posting this because after paying Razzolink an outrageous amount of money for many years and having to tolerate terrible service, constant outages, false advertising, and outright lies I have finally been able to cancel our service. Yes I finally canceled we now have T-Mobile home 5G. I am paying a fraction of the price that I was paying Razzolink for much faster and better service. To my neighbors in San Juan Bautista and Aromas we finally have other options besides Razzolink, I for one am delighted to finally cancel the worthless service I was forced to use..... good riddance Razzolink!!! read more

It is rather difficult to live/work in the modern world without internet service. If you don't believe me, just try Razzolink. With our premium $100/mo 5MPS service (as opposed to 50MPS service in our last home for $70) see the attached picture running at 0.65M. I should be thankful we are not totally down... which we've been most of last week and the weekend. But 0.65MPS is not fast enough to keep up with a webpage, so (as typical) I have to use my cellphone hotspot. Even more maddening, it occasionally works, sort of as a tease. And then there is Razzolink's faux sense of innocence and ignorance. What, we have problems? NOOOOO, really? (As if this were not their 100th call.) I wish I'd found all these buyer-beware reviews earlier, as Razzolink had me thinking it was just me... which I think is the intent with this gambit. But perhaps the biggest sin of Razzolink is that with their false claims of service they discourage competitors. Can we all quit at once? Can we get together and fund a competent rural ISP provider? When I complain and want a refund for non-service with Mike in Razzolink sales, he says it will cost me $250 to get out... after all this non-service and abuse. There's a reason Razzolink has one of the lowest Yelp scores in the industry. I sure wish I'd read up beforehand. read more

Just have to say they (Razzolink) have a great team here locally and their local service is super friendly and very positive. Its superbowl Sunday and they found a way to get out to me and get my service back up and running temporary for our superbowl party we had scheduled to continue on. Only thing I'd say that was bad was their 3rd party they hire to take care of their customers when they are closed. That team needs to better understand that customers our calling for help and they just didn't seem to care. My hats off to who ever handles your facebook messenger account!! Thank you! This is really a good one. This time (Aug 12) the internet was out for 15 hours and I was told a US government official was in our area and has taken over Razolink's bandwidth. Another call hours later revealed that possibly a governemnt ship might be off the coast. WTF, I'm so tired of their excuses. If they don't have enough bandwidth, get out of the business. We are in a military town, with many top officials coming here regularly so NO I'm not falling for this excuse. read more

I don't know which location services Moss Landing but my feedback is for Razzolink service period. They've recently upgraded the cell tower on top of the harbor office. Now my antenna doesn't work. Took several days to finally get a live person to talk to (line always busy) , took 2 level support with no resolution. No call back until today. Tech coming out @ if they need to replace antenna because my version no longer works with the new I'm being charged $300 including service call, seriously!!! Ugh!!! Also they claim it's only happening to me. I found out today even the harbor office some of their equipment isn't working. Also a few of my friends in the harbor also isn't able to get internet since the upgrade. read more

Here's the good and the bad of Razzolink. I'll make this short. The bad: 1)it's satellite Internet so you won't get the speed you will with a wired connection. 2) it's expensive compared to wired internet. The good: 1)The speeds were atrociously slow even at a high cost. they have gotten much much much better over the last few years. You can get residential plans with speeds up to 20 Mbps. 2) their customer support is fantastic. Miguel and Ishmael regularly answer the phone and are usually able to help you out on the first phone call. They know their products and how to help. I recently was having problems with my speeds. I thought it was them, but it turned out to be my router. even though it was only four years old and an expensive one at the time they do go bad. In fact I've been having problems for a while. The speeds were slowed and I kept dropping my signal. in my mind I was blaming RAZOlink when I should've just believed them that it was probably my router. We were very disappointed with their customer service. They do not provide any paperwork for the installation of the equipment, they charge for labor without informing the customer in advance. They don't call back when they say they will. They say that they will send out a technician, but they don't. When we were not getting the speed they promised us, they told us it was because there was a tree that was interfering with the signal and they wanted to charge us more money to move our antenna. I had razzolink about 10 years ago and it was not reliable at all. But 3 days into using their 10megabit down and 4 megabit up, I'm extremely impressed. Now for fixed wireless the game in pricing internet changes a bit and I understand, but a 12ms ping to a san Jose sever from where I live makes a big difference. I had a intermittent performance problem with my RAZZOLINK internet and called for support. They worked with me to figure out the source of the problem from their end and at mine. The problem has been solved at their end and my performance has been OK! They charged me $100 for solving the problem without telling me so I called to explain my case. They agreed that is was their problem and committed to return my $100. Great working with them technically and financially. read more

Stay away from this place!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! This place is a rip off. We used them for about 3 months. We rarely ever had a 24 hr period when the service actually worked without issues. Often times it would be down for days at a time. I was constantly calling them and they would tell us it was our equipment. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand. The customer service sucks and I was paying $150/mo for crappy internet that never worked. My daughter couldn't even do 25 minutes of online tutoring- we had to cancel because the internet was so unreliable. Literally couldn't do anything we were relying on our cell phone hot spots. After I canceled they told me I have to pay $250 for early termination of the dish rental! Which we were told was a month to month rental. They also charged $100 for a technician to come out when their signal was out. Save yourself stress, time and money and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! We switched to Ridge Wireless and couldn't be happier with the service! Literally the opposite of this place. read more

Razzolink keeps failing its customers with constant service disconnection . I have lost hours of work time and they don't seem to care because this continues to occur. Their "24/7" customer support is a lie... they don't answer the calls after 4pm. We pay premium for their top of the line service and it is still slow... they keep blaming pge for their bad service. Oh and they blame thir customers with... it may be your wires at home not connected... or your antenna moves on a windy day ... they don't own it and make it better for their customers... so on the market for a new internet service provider. read more

We had excellent, reliable service from Red Shift, which hosted our business web page for 18 years. I do not remember any time that our web page became unavailable (i.e. was down). Since Razzo Link took over about three months ago, the difference has been night(mare) and day. For example, right now, I cannot access my business web page ("site unavailable"). After some time on hold, the tech did not seem to understand what it meant that the web page was not available (did not understand what it means to host a website, I guess), and then the connection stopped ("call failed"). The tech had my phone number, but did not call back. I am once again waiting on hold for a long time. This would be excusable were it the first time that this happened. It is not. The last time I had to go to the head of Razzo Link to get the web page back up. Since Razzo Link took over for Redshift, it would seem that they should be set up to give the same level of good service. They are not. Someone from Razzo Link is complaining on this website that Yelp only puts 1-star reviews on the first page in order to make the business look bad. I would say that the business already looks bad: Yelp is just reporting on that to protect potential ISP customers from headaches. If Razzo Link does not like showing 1-star reviews on the first page, it should improve its tech support and ISP performance so that it does not receive 1-star reports. (Will post a follow-up if ever I do get through to tech support! The fact that such a long wait is required pretty much establishes the poor levels of service that warrants 1-star reviews.) read more

I really liked redshift but after Razzolink took over we've had problems. It was difficult connecting my old iPad but my new iPad and I phone won't connect at all. My very tech savvy grandson spent over 2 hours with tech support today and couldn't get it connected. i guess I will need new e-mail. Yuck! read more

Razzolink has suffered growing pains over the past decade since I've been a customer, but they are consistently improving and I've never had problems communicating with them. I'm back on their band wagon after a brief interlude with Exede. The tech world is almost a necessity in this day and age, even for folks trying to "live off the grid". Being a rural resident of Monterey County for nearly 40 years, I've seen a lot of changes. My current praise is for a new IT man named Sal who came to Razzolink when they merged with Redshift. He's an expert in the field and provided a wealth of information as well as hooking us up with stellar service. We no longer need a landline for phone nor a satellite dish for tv! I've got WiFi phone service thru out the house that's better than my cellular company could provide and a "smart" tv that brings me more stations than I'll ever need. For my needs, I couldn't ask for a better experience. So shout out to Salvatore for top notch installation and a thank you to Ismael's phone support to connect me with the service again. I got the 3mb plan, it wasnt enough so I got the 10mb plan. The first month it was amazing. I did a speed test and I was actually getting 15mb the entire month! But after the first month it all went downhill from there. Every month the speed kept getting slower and slower, it went from 10mb to 7mb to 5mb and finally ended up at 3mb. I did many speed tests and its always at 3mb. So I decided to call them. The guy on the phone told me to do a speed test, so I did it, and what do you know it was 'magically' back at 10mb. But after I got of the phone I did a speed test again and it was back at 3mb. So the next month I called again, he told me to do a speed test and once again it was 'magically' back at 10mb. But once again after I hung up the phone it went back to 3mb. I'm not sure whats going on, but I think when you call them they send you the 10mb just for a moment to keep you happy, but once you get of the phone with them it goes back to 3mb. It doesnt matter if you get the 3mb plan or the 10mb plan, in the end you receive 3mb regardless. read more

Have recently taken the plunge and upgraded to their XStream plan. About a month in and I have no complaints so far. It is much more consistent, but some ups and downs come due to the nature of wireless. I consistently get about 10mb up and down and great ping. Works well enough to game or stream. The only downside is that it is expensive initially as the install runs about 100 bucks and the modem adds $13 to my monthly bill, making it about 93 dollars. If the service stays like this for the next few months, I will say it's money well spent. I will also leave an extra star if it continues as is over the next while. read more

Razzolink is some of the worst internet ever. Yes, I live in the sticks. YES, I live in a first world country and there is no other option. But let me tell you.. 600 KBPS?! When I pay over $115 a month for a measly 10 mbps is ridiculous. Friends of mine who live in better areas of hollister pay $40 to spectrum for almost 100 mbps. Razzo Link is ridiculously expensive for poor service and a lousy upload of 6mbs. They're also looking for a constant upsell. Very disappointed with what you pay vs what you get. Competitors are welcome! It's an open market. As a follow-up and a couple hours on the phone with them, and the inability to troubleshoot is beyond me. Don, one of the lead techs, was incredibly rude and said our service was just fine when we should be on a minimum of 10MBS. He said we were on the 6MB plan, and he would gladly upsell us. We called back, and Carin, a person who knows how to troubleshoot to get to the heart of the problem, could identify that we are not on the residential plan but the business plan. It took 2 weeks for someone to figure that out. We'll now probably have to wait until after the Holiday to get the service that we actually pay for. Ridiculous! read more

I live in Prunedale and our Razzolink dish was blown ~90 degrees from its original position during the hurricane force winds, hence, we were without Internet for several days. When I called Razzolink they promptly arranged an appointment for me. Tony, the technician, actually arrived earlier than the original time. I really appreciated this since it allowed me to continue with my busy day. Tony was extremely professional and informative and promptly fixed the problem. This guy deserves a raise! I have been a Razzo Link customer for years. I have their services installed at three business location (for load balancing and redundancy) in addition to my residence. The overall service and quality of the product I great. At my residence I have had no issues streaming my Netflix or Amazon movies and show (picture quality does drop at times). It seems these guys are making a customer service turn-around. Over the weekend I had massive slowdowns in internet speed (which turned out to be my fault). Before I knew the cause, I talked with tech help twice on a SUNDAY. On Monday morning I got a call from tier 2, and they completely nailed the issue. Razzolink service was perfectly fine. The problem was the two iPads I was upgrading. I forgot that we had over 1000 full-size photos and videos that were getting updated on both iPads at the same time. As soon as I turned the iPads off, everything worked great. The point is that they were available, knowledgeable, and very polite. They sat on the phone with me for over an hour while we trouble shot the issue. I was very impressed. My opinion is definitely changing. Keep up the good work. read more

Poor Barbara, she must be getting *really* tired of constantly defending Razzolink against all these mean reviewers! ;) It happens so often, she's probably got her defensive response on permanent copy/paste. You'd think that all these unhappy customers might tell you something, Razzolink... perhaps it's actually your internet service and customer support that's so awful and, *gasp*... NOT your customers?? Nah, couldn't be! Thankfully, I was only a Razzolink customer for a few months, so don't bother looking up my account and publicly posting my usage habits, Barbara (classy move, btw) ... I'm happily no longer in your database. This is because Razzolink's owner would rather terminate the service of an unhappy customer, than work with him to resolve the issues. No joke; Razzolink cancelled my account! They did provide some credits upon service termination, so I'm thankful for that and happily ran for the door, even though I knew how hard it would be to find another service provider where I live. I had the same experience as Jesse N. and so many others, here on Yelp. I paid for the "up to 10Mbs" XStream Residential plan, which... after a visit to their web site today, I see no longer exists; their highest plan is now only "up to 5Mb". So, at least they appear to be recognizing their limitations... but they're not charging you any less for it, of course. Moreover, all their service plans now come with an added bonus; data caps! This is the reason I chose Razzolink over space-based satellite, to avoid the data caps. Razzolink, please don't give us a sob-story about how internet usage and bandwidth requirements have gone up exponentially over the past few years. You're right; they have! That's your problem though... not your customers'. If you can't offer reliable service at a competitive price and performance combination, then you shouldn't be in the ISP business. Hmm... there's a thought. If there were more competition in rural areas, you'd already be out of business but you have your customers over a barrel and you treat them that way. Let me tell you something, Razzolink... when you say you'll deliver "up to 10Mbs" of speed, that means you'll deliver as much throughput as you have available, up to this amount. However, that's not what you do. You deliver up to a sustained data rate cap of 3Mb (not mentioned anywhere on your web site) with bursting speeds of up to 10Mb. Well, this bursting speed is essentially a buffer and once it's full (after just a few seconds of streaming video or downloading a file), then you throttle users down to a maximum of 3Mb. This is therefore *not* delivering "up to" 10Mb and it is completely disingenuous. Btw, you'll be lucky to even see the max cap of 3Mb; anything above 1-2Mb was like an elusive unicorn, in my experience. I often had speeds of .5 to .9 Mb! Plus, like so many others point out, the service constantly goes down. If you've made it this far, here's the summary: Razzolink provides awful internet service and abysmal customer "service". Run away. Run away as fast as you can. read more

One of the worst internet providers in the world. I've gotten better wifi service in third world countries as well as friendlier customer service. The thing with Razzo Link is that they know they have a monopoly on the area. So here is my issue with Razzo Link. I'm paying $100 a month for 2mbs download speed with an unstable connection. I called multiple times to get it fixed and their solution was a tree blocking the signal and that I needed an antenna costing $400 just to get the "superfast" 2mbs speed that I pay $100 for. Not only do they fail at providing any form of internet service, their customer representative is extremely rude because they know you got no one to turn to. If you are in the area, I suggest going with T-Mobile or Spectrum once it gets to the San Juan Bautista area. Honestly, I rather have my webpage sent to me through a pigeon than using Razzo Link ever again. Unfortunately, I've had Razzolink service now for over three years and it's been the worse three years ever. I live in the Hollister area and the tower that services my neighborhood is always down. On days that I work remotely, the service is down. Call customer service, get someone who isn't tech saavy, tells me the tower is down, doesn't provide a timeframe when the tower will go back up, tower is down for hours on end, can't work from home......AWFUL, TERRIBLE service. Yet, they expect to be paid on time. Not once was I ever offered a credit for the amount of days that the "tower" was down. They don't care. All they care about is getting paid and provide AWFUL, TERRIBLE internet service. For $70 a month, it's a rip off. If there was another internet provider, I would use them and nix Razzolink altogether. Gathering from all the negative reviews, Razzolink owner/manager, etc., why don't you take a good look at them and spend some of the $$ you are collecting from your customers to upgrade your "TOWERS"!!! read more

I have had Razzolink for over 5+ years now and if I had to sum it up in one word the word would be Nightmare! Never get the speeds I pay for, tower is always down, service is always interrupted, customer service reps who's English is a their second language are dumb and read from scripts. The list goes on and on and on.. And what gets me the most is when you call they try put their poor connections and problems on my equipment. Razzolink is my only option here in San Martin for now, but as soon as another ISP comes I cant wait to call Razzolink and cancel. When I do that the clouds will part and angles will sing.. I am currently writing this review from my phone, as I have no internet in my house - yet again. Got locked out of my Adwords certification that I need for work, again. There is not one day I can think of in the past year where I have had uninterrupted internet service, it does not matter the time of day or night. I am so sick of this, it makes work very frustrating. If I need to do something important, I drive to Starbucks. I use Razzolink because its the only provider in my area. If I could give Razzolink or Razzo-stink no stars, I would. For the most part, the people you deal with are nice. I understand they are just doing their jobs and trying to stay in business. But man, what terrible internet service. For years I have prayed for some other service in our neighborhood and Charter/Spectrum comes to the rescue. Words cannot desrcibe what a difference there is. For $100 a month Razzo-stink was providing snails pace internet service. Heaven forbid bad weather such as rain or wind comes around. Then your may have no service at all. We don't even stream movies very much. I just need a reliable internet service for my children's school work. They are also very happy now that their PS4 has absolutely no more "drag" when it comes to playing their multi player games. Granted I could care less about that, but for the years we had Razzo-stink their games would freeze up or disconnect. In the two days we have had Charter/Spectrum their games run at full speed. I am so impressed. I actually played one of their games because it was fun. But of course Razzo-stink had one last shot at gauging me and this really pisses me off. Payment for each month is paid up front at the beginning of the month. I cancelled my service just after then beginning of the month. So instead of paying me back the difference, they are keeping the full amount for the entire month and won't disconnect my service until the end of the month. I guess they really need that $100. That's fine, keep that and consider it YOUR SERVERENCE PAY! You won't be around much longer. I would never recommend nor have anything positive to say about the internet service provided by Razzo-stink. And please Razzolink, I don't need some disingenuous response about how sorry you are. I had many problems with this company before . The worst of which was the poor customer service. They did, however, fix the problems I had experienced after I posted a negative review on yelp. While they can't change the poor past experience I had with them, they did fix the technical/service issues I was having and apologized for the bad way I was treated. Our connection constantly disconnects every other hour even though we are paying over $100 each month... We are suppose to get 7mbps but normally we don't even get 1 mbps... on average it's 600 kbps. I am so sad and tired of being a Razzolink customer. I call multiple times to ask for help and so far none of their solutions have worked. They had a guy come over a move our modem antenna since they said our tree was blocking it. Right after he left our wifi disconnected again... aka nothing has changed and the service is still absolutely terrible. They want me to buy a dish which would be $300 but I have refused because I really don't trust that they will deliver stable internet to me after purchasing the dish. I honestly hate Razzolink so much. All of my neighbors hate Razzolink too due to its terrible service in our area. now we are just waiting for Spectrum to finish construction in our area so that we can finally have high speed internet without having to pay with our kidneys. read more

I would suggest that instead of a response to call you (I have called dozens of times) and that you cant find us in a data base or some other laughable attempt to deflect real concerns back onto your paying customers why don't you have a meeting with your ownership, let them know your customers hate your service because to be frank it SUCKS, inform them that not many of your customers would do business with Razzolink if there were other options, and come up with a strategy to deliver to your customers a product that Razzolink can be proud of and worth the outrageous prices you charge.. I live in a rural part of San Benito county, the only choices for internet are Razzolink or a satellite provider (Dish, Excede, Hughes,) since there is no real competition I feel Razzolink takes advantage and charges extremely high rates for lousy connections speeds. Razzolink has been our ISP for several years and we have been plagued by the same issues that other customers have complained about. Very low speeds (usually less than half of what is promised) excuse after excuse when we call to report problems, constant outages, to be blunt they are a terrible ISP. I have called dozens of times over the last several years with no real resolution to our problems. I have upgraded our service in hopes that this would improve our connection speeds but with only mediocre results. I am not in a unique situation I live in a neighborhood of about 120 homes, most of the community uses Razzolink and everyone I have spoken with in the neighborhood shares in many of the complaints published here on Yelp (SO RAZZOLINK IT IS NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS FAULT OR THERE ROUTERS) its your business practices of denial, sub-par service, failure to deliver, and outrageous prices that are the real issue. A neighbor recently switched to Excede satellite internet, I looked into it and I have decided to switch our service to the Excede 25mps with unlimited data I am not exactly excited about this because it is expensive $150.00 per month and my neighbor has had some negative things to say. (its a sad truth but it comes down to 2 bad and overpriced choices) I will not upgrade to Razzolinks 7mps because in I bluntly don't believe they will deliver and I am tired of paying them our hard earned money. I do want to share that I did receive some great inside news from a friend that works with a major wireless service (t-mobile,ATT,Verizon ect). One of these companies has plans to deploy 5G service ahead of schedule in the first quarter of 2019 in San Benito county and later in Monterey county in mid 2019. For those who don't know 5G is a new technology that major phone carriers are working to deploy over the next few years. 5G will provide wireless home internet service at fiber optic speeds!!! When this happens we can all tell Razzolink and Sat providers to shove their modems and satellite dishes where the sun doesn't shine read more
