I would use Wise Builders again and I would request Marc to be my project manager again on any future jobs that I had. He worked really well with our designer Jocelyn, I appreciated having a designer. Having a designer to bounce ideas off have her expertise on fixtures and toilets was amazing. Jocelyn did an excellent job working with me and when my daughter had some changes to this design, she was very receptive to those changes and helped me update the changes in our design The only thing that could have been better is, if the tile supplier had communicated with Marc that the tile for the guest shower floor was backlogged. Marc worked really hard to expedite the tile and was in communication with me along that process. In order to give us options besides waiting for the tile, Jocelyn, our designer gave us an alternative tile. Looking at the tile floor now I like it better than what I had originally chosen. I have done other remodeling projects and I would have to say that working with Marc has probably been one of the easiest remodeling projects that I have done. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. We also ran into a misunderstanding around the scope of work and an additional cost that initially felt much higher than expected, to the point where I was considering cancelling the project. When the final scope ended up being a little less than anticipated, he even reduced the price further, which I really appreciated. He also sent two technicians to make up for the initial delay and get the work completed quickly. The doors turned out great, and the job was finished much faster than I expected. You will get impressed and choose to hire him if you have him onsite to know how patient and professional he is. For my project, initially I thought is related to breaker. He checked each single outlet that is affected. Mess it is (due to our earlier general contractor who wires four hot wires from a single outlet!!), Biar was able to identify the problem (bad connection before aluminum and copper wires) and fix it. A nontrivial issue was later identified related to our disposal wires, and Biar self proposed to get into our crawlspace to try finding the root cause. Unfortunately no issues there, and it may be caused by unstable connections inside the wall. No time for this work today, but I am setting a follow up job with him the coming week! The project took him much longer than expected, and he even skipped his lunch time to get the project done. The price is quite reasonable. I am super happy with his work, and look forward to getting the disposal fixed next week.

The architect, constructions, design and management was all done by Greenberg. This meant that the project from top to bottom was aligned with the team actually doing the construction work. The last thing I wanted to do was have to coordinate with flaky contractors, have to re-do low quality work after a long day at work.
