As a busy full time student at UCSC, I was always either studying or working my two jobs. I really needed someone to help me maintain my bushy eyebrows because I had no time to pluck them myself and I also had no time to go to one of the threading shops in Santa Cruz to get it done. One of my friends told me about Chantel and I was immediately interested! SHE IS AMAZING. She accommodates to your schedule and GOES TO YOU. Like seriously? how awesome is that and who else in the world would do that?! Anyways, I got my eyebrows threaded in Santa Cruz but her services are no longer offered there.. she is now a mobile threader in San Francisco. Perfect for me because I recently moved up to San Francisco for work! I am posting this now because she stopped by my office today and threaded my eyebrows as well as my upper lip! So happy there is a person like Chantel who exists out there. SHE CAME TO ME AND I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE MY OFFICE... but wait, it gets better... her personality is the epitome of what great service everywhere she be. I just started to work in DTSF and saw how overprice threading can be in the city... And so specific with the hours of operations, it makes it difficult to plan. Found out about this business two hours ago and just got my eyebrows threaded. Chantel is super responsive and got me set up for an appointment immediately after I messaged her. The entire session took fifteen minutes. She was precise, efficient, and friendly, and made sure I was content with the results before she left. At $16 for brows, you won't find a better deal anywhere else, since I didn't even have to leave my house. I'd totally pay more for this service, but for now I'm not complaining. Finding Chantel on Yelp was one of the best discoveries I have made. Self-care for someone with a mobility disability is finding someone who can perform quality grooming services at your house, that aren't expensive. That is not easy to find. Chantel does an amazing job removing wayward hairs. She cleaned up my eyebrows so that they were the fleekest, and my face looked so fresh and so clean-clean! (I have PCOS, so I had a mini man-beard going on.) She did this for the same price as a salon(actually, cheaper than the ones near me, for full-face), and it saved me heaps of precious energy and time. Chantel was able to come by on a Saturday morning, which started my day off perfectly. Her communication is speedy, and she was great fitting in my last minute scramble to get de-fuzzed. She did my armpit for free which was super awesome! This was my first time being threaded! Very friendly and easy to talk to, did not feel awkward at all. I made a last minute booking and she still accommodated for me :) I had a combo of the eyebrows and upper lip. Love the way she shaped and cleaned my brows along its natural shape. Although if you'd like a certain arch or shape, remember to tell her! Her tools were nice and sterile, she also used an alcohol-free rose scented witch hazel to clean and close up my pores. Really sweet person. She always aims to make the client happy. She'll show you her progress several times in the mirror and make sure your happy with the way things are looking. She's always punctual, super easy to schedule with, responds quickly to texts and will try her best to accommodate my odd working hours. After she's done she uses alcohol wipes to clean down her instruments. She also offered me some witch hazel (not that it was needed, she does a great job!).
