Being new to the Boise/Meridian area I was not sure where to purchase the things I needed to furnish my new home. First on the list was new dining room chairs and a new refrigerator. RC Willey was recommended by a friend who beat us here by 18 mos. I was very pleased with how easy the purchase was and how little pressure was applied to either upgrade or purchase more. I don't respond well to being pressured for a sale and I was delighted with the service we received and the follow up by the sales person after delivery to make sure we were happy with the purchase. We have since been back and purchased a bed frame and mattress set for the guest room. Again, great service, no pressure, quick availability and delivery. Excellent prices too. Beat their closest competition by more than $300. That's always a plus! read more

This place is terrible. We went in ordered a couch it was suppose to be delivered, we got text messages and tracked it but they never showed up or even called. We called customer service (45 minute wait time too) they said they came by and no one was there which was a lie I was outside waiting. She was suppose to call us back to reschedule and never heard from her again. Called the store directly and they said it was never getting delivered today and gotten taken off delivery. It's been rescheduled for another week and they didn't tell us. Terrible delivery service and the customer service people don't care. After they make a sale they're done with you. Now we have no couch for a week because we got rid of our old one expecting the new one today. read more

Let me start by saying I have been a customer of RC Willey for over 30 years dating back to my days in Utah. I was very happy when they open a store here in Meridian. But this stores customer service help line is the worst of any company I have ever worked with. My 4 year old LG Fridge needs a service its leaked / leaking water all over my hardwood floors. Wait till Monday to call. 12/6/21 3 plus hours on hold or being passed around by Customer service until being hung up on. Called back and went the please leave your # and they will call you approach. Ya that never happened 12/7/21 Another 1 hour 20 minutes on hold was not able to talk to anyone 12/8/21 Another 55 minutes on hold not able to talk to anyone 12/9/21 I took the day off, I was way to %^$*^& to talk to anyone at RC Willey 12/10/21 Only took 18 minutes to talk to someone today, who promptly told me she could not help me even though I had receipt in my had.....she needed serial # that is on the fridge not on the receipt. I gave her my wife cell # who happened to be at home, Lady on Customer Service said she would call her and get the serial #. 3 hours later no call Finally got a hold of someone after another 32 minutes on hold. They took my info and stated we would be contacted in 24 -48 hours, but since it is now Friday do not expect a call till next Monday......a full week after we started this BS I WILL NEVER SHOP RC WILLEY AGAIN THIS IS A JOKE BEYOND IMAGINATION read more

I'll break this review into 3 phases...appliance review/selection, purchasing, delivery install. Picking out our new washer/dryer and fridge were made EXTREMELY easy by Shane our rep. Easy peasy painless process. 5/5 stars Purchasing and waiting nearly an hour to get my credit check approved and work verified was a bit frustrating and seemed like there were gaps in their process. It took far too long imo... 4/5 stars Delivery and install was pretty horrendous. We also purchased a new TV and Soundbar that were floor display models. Needless to say on delivery day most of our goodies showed up but our floor displays didn't. Again a GAP in their process, somewhere along the way the ball was dropped. We had comcast scheduled later that day and guess what, no new tv so had to have them rescheduled which wasn't free. Bought a loveseat, recliner and small kitchen table with 2 chairs, and a double mattress, boxspring and frame from them in Henderson NV. Deserei our salesperson was awesome! The delivery had a lot to be desired. The recliner was in backorder from the beginning, they delivered the rest of the items on the set day..the table was "damaged" so they never brought it in from the truck..but we got the 2 chairs that went with it. Deserie ordered a new table from CA, it took 3 weeks and when they called me to say they'd be here shortly, they also said the table was damaged. This time I wanted to see it. They had scratched the top when someone else's item fell on it while they were driving and that item was in 3 pieces. Maybe more care should be taken while packing the truck and driving the truck, because this is where the damage occurred. When people wait for weeks or months for things on back order and then they arrive and they're damaged in the delivery truck...that's a huge failure. read more

Everything from appliances, living room furniture, bed room furnishings and carpets were all ordered and delivered within 2 weeks this summer. I have shopped at RC Willey in Meridian, Idaho for many years but probably will not go back again. We bought a dishwasher and the salesman promised us easy delivery and installation for a small fee. Turned out to be me on the phone for 3 days trying to get someone to install it. I got the runaround and when I complained to the salesman he laughed at me and wished me luck trying to find it anywhere else. So I'm done with RC Willey. If I could give 0 stars I would. We purchased a entertainment center and upon delivery there guys broke a part and tried to hide it, I quickly found this and called and they ordered a new piece, I asked for a delivery after 4 pm and got 5 phone calls from RC Wiley in one day. Seems no one knows what's going on. They wanted to come two hours early while I was still at work, I finally was able to get home a little early and they replaced the broken part but it just made things worse and now I can barely close the doors on my entertainment center. I have never seen such a bunch of incompetent group of people. I am just going to return the entertainment center at this point and go elsewhere. Let's not even get started on the extremely long hold times to just talk to someone in customer service, overpriced, incompetent. Update the store manager reached out to me and made things right the service tech that came out was amazing and a great help. read more

After deciding on our furniture we got it home. We discovered that 3 of seven sections were broken We decide to exchange them and ended up with defective parts still the motor parts for the recliner kept malfunctioning and another completely died the had to replace yet again it took a year to get it completed of course the bill kept coming and ever return was re billed kind of ridiculous to track that many issues Now i am stuck with lousy billing issues and lies I don't believe i ever want to deal with them again But at least the repair man was friendly read more

They kept transferring me, and didn't order the right part for my recliner. Anniversary Sale. Bought a recliner with microfiber for $249. Love the furniture here. Very reasonably priced for the quality, lots of friendly helpful staff. I will say I was asked if I needed help just s but too often. Staff were honest in NOT recommending a particular recliner due to consumer complaints about durability of the product. They have many gorgeous bedroom sets that seem to be very high quality and for a third of the price as stores in my city (Portland). I wish they had a store back home. I will definitely consider buying here in the future. read more

We schedule an appointment to have an estimator come out for our flooring project and when I explained that we wanted a radius between the hardwood floor and the carpeting the first thing out of his mouth is "Nope! I bought some couches a few weeks ago at this location. Once I got home, I realized they weren't going to work in my front room. I immediately called the sales woman, Susan and she was extremely helpful in putting the order on hold and helped me choose different options. She adjusted my original order and refunded me the difference. I had them delivered and it was totally worth it! The delivery service sent me an email to remind me the day before delivery. They also called me the morning of and gave me an ETA. Most places just tell you they will be there sometime between 8-5...not these guys!! The store had a really nice selection of quality furniture and plenty of helpful sales people waiting to assist. I will definitely be going back for my next furniture purchase! read more

The salesman we had was very knowledgeable and worked hard on our behalf. However, the store was TERRIBLE about making sure the items we purchased were delivered in a timely manner. They delivered a broken couch, we waited for weeks to get it replaced, and the chair we ordered didn't arrive until almost two months after the order date. We got excuse after excuse, and "the left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing. " Customer service never returned phone calls. Be sure to get the delivery date IN WRITING, and be promised a CASH refund if they don't follow through. They will tell you they don't give cash refunds - only in-store credit. read more

I cannot stand this store! The sales associates act like they're so bored with their job and when you ask questions about their products, they answer, "I don't know..." and that's all they've got. Once they see you pull an item off the shelf, the follow you to check out so they can snag commission off ya so they can "claim" they helped you on the floor. True story. Such cheap quality crap for such expensive prices! I've got a HUGE problem with their financing department too. To summarize, I had a joint account with an ex with a limit of $800 that we closed together. They allowed my ex to re-open that account on his own and charge $1200 on it and billed it to me! That was 8 years ago. I will NEVER shop there again. read more

Hubby and I are seniors with a number of physical problems. We thought we had someone to come take away the old furniture, but they backed out at the last minute. We were told the RC Willey guys would NOT be able to haul the old stuff out ... but the "boys" took the pieces out and put it in the back of hubby's pick-up truck. What a relief that was!! We have been doing business with RC Willey for 17 years and that unfortunately ends today.. Our entire home is furnished with their merchandise. Most of our purchases have been fine but we haven't had the same experience with their sofas. We are on sofa number three. The first two fell apart within a year. Now we have one that is also falling apart. It's only a year old and my husband purchased an extended warranty which apparently isn't worth the paper it's written on. After spending hours on the phone with them he was hung up on. We advise anyone else who plans to make purchases from them to GO ELSEWHERE read more

Honestly, I was a bit nervous about shopping here after seeing the reviews. However, the overall experience that we had here was good. The purchase and the assistance on the floor itself was quite good and the sales person that we had was very knowledgeable but not pushy. They were friendly and offering, options and give us the information without feeling like we had to make a buy. We opted for a 20 percent down and pay the remainder a few days later when we picked up our products. We were told that we could call in a head of time and ask them to pull our item and have it ready for us. Once we got here though it was not pulled and we had to wait longer than expected. Even with that the customer service was good and the people in the back were friendly. Most of the pricing was comparable on furniture to other stores in the area. Electronic seemed a bit more expensive and for those kinds of items I would probably go elsewhere. read more

Edit: the general manager was able to sort things out for me, so I am adjusting my review as they do have good products and I have had only good experiences with their sales team (5/5 stars to Ben in mattresses, if I could give individual ratings). However, I cannot excuse the treatment I received by their customer service, and that still weighs in my total rating. Update: the General Manager gave me a gift card for the inconvenience, but it turns out they don't accept their own gift cards anymore (a few months later) lol. Back to 1 star. I wish I had read the reviews on this store before ordering. I placed an order online for a fridge and that went smoothly but it stops there. The delivery men showed up and without discussing anything with me, removed my door. Brought the fridge in, and set it up but only removed half the styrofoam inside and banged the fridge door against my counter tops several times to "show me how not to do that". Ok.. The second delivery man takes my dining chair and STEPS ONTO IT to put my door back up. Why? Do they not have step ladders? They leave, I check my chair and see that it's now broken (it wobbles now) and has paint scratches where his feet were. So I called customer service. A guy picks up name Emmanuel, says no problem he'll take care of the fee for my chair, gives me an email address and tells me to send him photos of the damage which I do immediately. He calls me back and then proceeds to call me a liar and that he just "doesn't understand why the delivery men wouldn't get a ladder from the truck." I ask to speak to a manager. She says her name is Alaina and in a huffy, confrontational tone says I'll have to make a claim with their claims department and connects me to their number. I'm on hold again and she had rerouted me to their main menu. So I picked the billing department (there was no claims department, Alaina was trying to lose my call) and the woman in billing after I explained to her what happened said she'd help me make a claim even though it wasn't her department. Sounds a lot like Alaina could've made the claim too doesn't it? After the nice woman in billing makes the claim, an insurance woman gets in contact with me and I re explain the issue and send her the photos. Two months later she refunds my money. TLDR: Don't shop here unless you want your furniture ruined by impatient delivery men, and your integrity questioned by incompetent 20 somethings who failed high school math. read more

We have used RC Willey for 10+ years. Nine of those years have been at the Meridian location. We have 10 kids and so we are very hard on washers, dryers, dish washers, fridges, furniture...you name it. We always get the RC Willey's extended coverage and have always been pleased with the guys they send out to fix the problem or they replace it. Always. Cindy Jones is the sales lady that we always use because she is very knowledgeable of the products and always gets us the best deals...and is just the sweetest person you will ever meet!!! read more

We were in dire need of a bed as we just moved to Boise and our moving company had delayed the delivery of our furniture and we were sleeping on an air mattress. I checked around and found the bed we wanted at RC Wiley and they were able to get it out to us in a couple of days. We have now slept on the new box spring and mattress for a week now and it has been very comfortable so far we really like it but it is not on the frame yet as our stuff has still not been delivered. Everyone at RC Wiley has been extremely professional and nice. I would recommend RC Wiley to anyone that is looking for a bed and they have also delivered some TV's which are great as well. Honestly at this moment if I could give RC Willey a 0 stars I would as I am so upset with them. I have bought multiple large purchases at RC Willey over the last year and unfortunately several weeks ago my what I feel is brand new (April 2020) range quit working in which time I contacted RC Willey where I was told since it was an LG product that the customer service representative would have to put in a ticket to them for a repair well needless to say after several oops no ticket made calls and a visit to the store nothing was ever done to fix the issue. On my last visit to the store (8/22/2020) I was told that LG hadn't contacted me because they were backed up due to COVID so even though I was told I could NOT contact LG myself as it needed to be handled by RC Willey I called them this morning and spoke to a very helpful representative who advised me that for one that they would have someone out to my house this week, two that they NEVER received any ticket from RC Willey and for three which is the most infuriating especially being in healthcare that they WERE NOT booked up due to COVID. So needless to say the representative at the Meridian customer service window decided since COVID is a easy excuse she'd just say it was due to COVID not caring that there are people working long hours (including me), people dying, and a nation struggling which is infuriating to me. You lost not only my business but my respect RC Willey shame on you! read more

Right in the door we were helped by Carlleen who listened and showed us the many style options they have to offer. We bought beds and have gone back to make additional purchases.
