Bought a 2015 Jayco Whitehawk which was supposed to have had this inspection which we paid for. All the appliances work fine but after we had it put at campground and moved on found several bad spot in the floor,which is going to have to be repaired. I would be very weary if going there. Check everything out yourself and don't pay for their inspection. read more

Bought a class A from RCD RV supercenter. After getting it home, we found there is only one bed, the couch does not make a bed. There is no dining table, just a pull out from the wall with two stools. The awning is not electric, must pull awning by hand (never heard of that before). Today the awning fell and we had to manually push it back into its slot (a job). We called RCD 4 times today to speak with someone but no one answered the phone so we left 4 messages and as of 6:30 p.m. no one has returned our call. I would not recommend RCDRV!! read more

Beware of price gouging For service and body repair. While traveling this summer in my travel trailer a stone was kicked up and put a hole the size of a quarter in the Shell . RCD has a bit of a Monopoly in my area and they take full advantage of that . This results in long wait times for estimates and repairs. After waiting over a month for them even to take a look at my camper they sent me a estimate that was outrageous. Keep in mind the damage to the shell of my camper was the size of a quarter. The quote came back at $1000 which included $105 for the privilege of providing an estimate, $100 in parts at $800 in labor . When I asked for some additional detail they shared their computer system that calculate repairs based on time and parts. When I expressed my concern with the estimate for such a small job. Their response was that I should turn it into my insurance company. Then the manager came out and told me I should take it somewhere else. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with your pricing and customer service response. read more

Updated 12/10/19: Taking this back to one star as the promised refund for the winterization has not been received despite email attempts to contact the salesman mentioned before. DO NOT purchase anything from this company. Updated: I am updating this review and giving it an extra star at this time because the saleman did reach out yesterday, after getting this review and apologized for us not having a good experience AND offer a refund for the winterization we will not be using with their company since it was included in the sale of our camper. I will further update this review when the refund is received. Original: Would not recommend ANYONE purchasing ANYTHING from this company. VERY disappointed in their customer service. First when we were looking the salesman, Todd Merry was your typical salesperson. Helpful to a point but don't ask too much. The only reason we purchased is it was exactly what we were looking for. There was no followup even to see how things were going which I think would be important since we were first time travel trailer owners. In the deal we arranged for a free winterization which we did not have done when we picked the camper up since we were hoping to use it for the first time the end of November. November temps way below average caused us to change our minds and want the camper winterized. My husband called on a Friday and was told he would get a call back to make an appointment. He did not hear from anyone until the following Monday (guess they only have 1 person that can make appointments). He said he could not get it in until 11/22/19. Which is over a week away. My husband asked about what we should do in the meantime with these temps and was told winterize it. What?!? That's what we were calling for. My husband told him we were new to owning campers and was told go to You Tube they have videos that will show you how. No offer for help or advice. My husband said he had a bad attitude and just wanted off the phone. We called another local place and they are getting it in this afternoon for more than half the cost of RCD. Who wants to bet we will never see the free winterization and they just got themselves an extra $199. I have NEVER written a review like this before but hope that it helps someone else avoid the headaches we have experienced. read more

I cannot speak in regards to RCD's sales department, however we took our Newmar Mountain aire for service on several items including a travel locking arm not always engaging and a cargo door that would not stay latched. They diagnosed the problems, so I was told in 2 days, not bad. They also damaged a cargo door backing out of their service bay. 4 weeks later the unit was not ready to pick up. I was told that Newmar was responsible for not sending the right parts. (4 weeks?) An additional 4 weeks past and my unit's cargo door was fixed...sort of. The clear coat was chipped off on the edge and another unrelated scratch was on the unit. Disappointed to say the least, I did bring my frustrations to the service manager. Compensation was provided to me for my unit to be serviced elsewhere, since my experience with RCD was so far below my expectations. read more

Terrible customer service. Talked us into paying extra $299 to make sure everything works, and everything DID NOT work. The a/c and the auto levelers weren't working. Clearly they did not go over the camper before we bought it because the tanks were still full. When we called to say we paid extra for everything to work, they blew us off. John U .06/16/2019 We purchased your 40G Discovery from RDC and had an issue with the AC compressor. The light on the dash that looks like a snowflake for your AC, wouldn't come on. Called RCD took it to them and there service person Dave said the AC control unit on the dash was bad. After a month Dave called to tell me it wasn't what was wrong. I asked did your Mechanic check to see if there was power to the AC compressor clutch he said no. I asked did they upgrade the GPS and he said yes and informed me the bill was at $865.00 and wanted to know if I wanted them to keep looking. I said no I will come and get it. While I was at there facility I complained about the high price and not resolving the problem. They took off $200.00 off the invoice. Drove the coach home found out they didn't upgrade the GPS because it still show 65 MPH on I-70. Called ********* in Indiana was directed to the tech dept. I told him I checked the clutch on the compressor there wasn't in power to it. In 30 seconds he told me there's a in line fuse in side the dash. I found it and replaced the blown fuse with another $0.50 cent fuse. WORKS GREAT . These people are not mechanics there parts replacer's. Absolutely fantastic! Customer service above & beyond the rest. We traveled 2 states to get our pup camper. No one else near had the one we wanted. We did our research about their reputation and checked out their BBB.org reputation: which is fantastic and has a very long history. We took a chance and made the 10 hour drive. It was worth every penny spent. Their reputation is earned. They are exactly what we had read about, honest, up front, helpful, and thorough. They worked with us and found financing we were happy with. They instructed us and showed us hands on how to operate and identify all the parts of our camper. They took the time to answer all our questions no matter how small. One of the answers we received confirmed their reputation even more. When we wanted to know about the best option for us, they told us what it was, that they did not carry it in the store, and that they were working on getting it in. Who does that anymore? Wow. What great service! Also, on a side note, we came around Christmas and they even had Santa there for the kids with little gifts. What a great experience. My family and I will never deal with this place again. What we thought was just a used little $9,000, 2009 Grey Wolf 16 Hybrid that needed a little TLC was really a little more than we bargained for. When they had it opened up it really looked great and I thought I had looked it all over, but when we got it home and opened up the pop out that sits over the tongue we found that there is a piece of rubber that covers the hinges. It's held in place by a bunch of screws and a piece of metal. All the screw were pulled out and rusted. The wood that the screws go into was all rotted out. The hot water tank won't light, pretty sure that is the regulator. I have peaked inside of the large round hole of the water heater and have found a lot of rust there. While we were being showed the camper I noticed that the "Black" water gauge read full and the guy doing the walk thru with us said he would take it around and empty it, but never did. The biggest problem I have with them is what we found out today. As we were signing the paper work on it to take it home last month, the guy that did the walk thru took my keys and hooked our truck up the the camper and brought it around for us. We got it home and packed it all up. Took it camping about 1.5 hours away, just to get a little feel of what all we needed in it and came home the next day. A month later took it out again, after doing some repairs on the things we found that were messed up, and came home the next day. Both times we did make it there safely, thank God! This evening I was installing a power tongue lift on it and for some reason I wanted to see if there was any play where the hitch ball goes in. Took my 2" ball that I had been using all this time, that the Sales Rep placed this camper on and never said anything about it and I found out that THIS camper take the 2" 5/16ths ball. RCD placed my new to me camper on the wrong sized ball and let me drive it home. You would think that with this being a dealer, they would make sure that I had the correct sized hitch ball. You would think that they would want me to drive it home safely. I guess the only people they really care about are the ones that buy new campers. Pretty sad they wanted us to pay them extra to do a full inspection of a camper that THEY were selling us. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Will gladly take your money for a sale and heavily persuade you to purchase extended warranties. After that, good luck, they're not much for customer service after you cut them a check. They quickly move on to the next sale. I wouldn't recommend buying a valve stem cap for the tire on your RV from this place. We took our motor coach in for repair. They had it 6 months. They didn't fix things they replaced parts with new ones. They didn't do many repairs we ask them to do. They removed panels and didn't put them back. Carpet was very dirty. Very disappointed. read more
