Went there with my son to get a cut. Didn't have appointment. My son and I were supposed to be the first ones up. Then the dude that signed in after me, didn't have an appointment either, ended up getting a cut before us. Customer service is poor. Yeah so I walked in around 12:20 and they told me hello, that's all they said so I assumed there was no sign in sheet or anything. I even called in ahead of time to see if they were taking in walk ins and they said yeah. Anyways I sat there for over an hour without anyone telling me anything and after four customers passed by they finally told the fifth one there was a sign in sheet. On a sidenote they seem to keep it pretty cool with their regulars so if by chance you end up becoming one of their regulars then I think it's a pretty decent barbershop. Don't go to this place. It seems like it's run by a bunch of high school kids with no customer handling skills. I've been to this place three times and each time it has taken me over 2 hours to get a cut (and I go on off weekdays) Previously, it seemed like each barber would take care of their "homies" before going for paying customers. Today I walked in and wrote my name on this sheet of paper. One other person was before me. When I sat down, it looked like there were 4 barbers and 3 people waiting. An hour and half later, one barber is gone. The other three have gone through two or more other customers. Only I'm waiting out of the original 4 people that were waiting. 3 more people walked in after me. I tell myself if each of the barbers groom a customer before me, I'd ask what was going on. They did and I did. Each barber said they had "appointments" they had to deal with first. An hour and a half after I sat down, I get told it would take another hour ATLEAST. Growing up in Paramount, My parents always took me to Lakewood to super cuts. I had moved around town and came back to Paramount with my then Fiancee in 2007. I immediately tried R Cee's as it was walking distance and became a great choice! Robert (RC) is my personal barber and was chosen because of his attention to detail. Especially when it came to my side burns. These have become a staple of my look on stage (I am an entertainer for a living) and off stage alike. I moved into the area about a year ago and RCEES was the first spot that I tried. I thought that finding a new shop would take a long time, but I got lucky and have been going there ever since. Haircuts are awesome, The atmosphere is 100 with some barber décor on the walls, tvs mounted that allow every seat to have a view. The barber seats are comfortable. Not your average barber shop. I go on a Tuesday or Wednesday, the wait is less than 30 minutes. They have appointments for an extra charge. Made a appointment for today 6/29 at this establishment and was skeptical and worried thinking they weren't going to do my head and beard right. Not just with this shop I just mean in general, but to my surprise they got down!! They shaved my head super clean and professionally I felt like a godamn celebrity lol, I usually do it myself at home with the cabinet mirror in front of me and a hand held mirror held to my back of my head scanning and making sure I got each certain quadrant. And on my beard the perfect crisp lines and design was on point! The barber architect that got down was a dude named Cesar, the vibe was cool they had a movie playing, the barbers bagging on each other, you feel the camaraderie between them. I will go back for sure and highly recommend the place. It was a bit pricey, but for the sweet 16 I have to attend tomorrow it's worth it when I walked out looking Sharp as hell! read more

So I came to this location 2 weeks ago before leaving on vacation. I walked in and I was greeted right away by the person who I believe is the owner. He asked if it was my first time there and directed me to a barber to get a haircut. However, I was already one step ahead and had already done some research and I said I was looking for a Barber named James. I waited a couple of minutes and once I was called for my haircut the experience was bad, and I mean bad in a bad ass way, hahahaha, James is a very well oriented barber. He took the time to look at the pictures of the haircut I was looking for, and then gave me some recommendations to what would work best. We then started conversing a bit and he pretty much knew the style and look I was going for. He actually also took some of his time to show me how to style my undercut and showed me various styles I could due until it grew longer. I don't live anywhere near this Barbershop, but I have to admit that I don't mind driving because this a barber that you cant go wrong with. Ive been here a few times and each time without an appointment. I know it dumb but with my schedule i get my hair cut when i can, where i can. Each time as soon as I walk in they just stare. Eventually someone will ask if I have an appointment which I will respond with a no. They act like the cool kids in high school-- which clearly they are all in their late 20s early 30s. I don't know the guys names who cut my hair, nor do I care really. The two or three times that I've had my haircut there have been mediocre at best. This is last time is the first time in a while that I've gotten cut while getting my haircut. Now I went there because I had a job interview and I didn't want to go out too far as I live right around the corner from them right here I went off to my interview with a cut about 5 mm on my side burn which was clearly visible and that's another thing if the guy so I had sideburns why in the hell did he taper off in the middle of my sideburns? And to be honest I don't even know how much they charge because I paid $18, I paid $25 and I've paid $22 all for the same haircut. read more

I like the cuts there but it is not worth the wait. I go in today and there is 3 people waiting. I wait over an hour and when I was up next the barber started to sweep and then went to the back and started folding towels. If you like great customer service, feeling like your business is valued, fast service, then definitely do not come here...they have good barbers with horrible customer service...they simply do not give a crap about you or your business unless you're lining their pockets with an appointment..it is normal to walk in and not be acknowledged...it is normal to walk in and there only be two barbers...it is normal for there to be a lot of customers and five barbers but only one is cutting while the others plan their lunches or "wait for appointments"...the owner clearly does not give a crap about his reputation either since he swears he's a celebrity barber...there have been times when the store is packed and RCee is just sitting there because of course he can't cut normal people's hair lol...all in all it is a place that has so much promise but horrible management of staff by the owner to the point where I'd rather get a crappy cut somewhere else than go in to this shop... read more
