And secondly it was for, as the reply from the vendor states correctly, a deep clean not a recurring cleaning every month so the comment I made about purposely inflating the cost and not wanting the work was a mistake on my part. As it turned out their quote was only $140 higher than the company we went with. Their monthly quote was about $150 higher than the company we went with. These differences most likely have to do with their fixed costs of doing the job to their standards. I apologize to Cotton Brothers for my mistake. I am revising the review rating to four stars but as you can see it still shows 5 stars. And here's why: They still lose a star for their higher prices in a competitive business. That said I am also adding back that fifth star because they took the time and followed up, had kept their quote and if we weren't on a strict budget would most likely have accepted this offer just because they sincerely want to grow their business, have the confidence to push back and have the facts to back it up. I looked for a cleaning service to do our regular once per month house cleaning. I interviewed several services. All of them right around $200. Texas Cleaning Service fell into the middle of the quotes not the lowest and not the highest. I called and spoke with their customer service representative, Tiffany. We had several lengthy conversations. These conversations were very specific pertaining to exactly what we needed, how many square feet in the living space etc. I then asked for a list of tasks as we had discussed. The list Tiffany sent was not totally inclusive of what was agreed upon during our conversations. I contacted her again and Tiffany sent a full list which concisely spelled out what they would have their team do during an appointment. I accepted the proposal. So far very good. Sometime before the appointment a person named Jacob began to get involved. He told my wife he was Tiffany's supervisor. This interaction could have gone one of two ways. After speaking with my wife he had some issues with the terms of the agreement that Tiffany and I had put into writing. That said, after revisiting the terms of the agreement he understood not only the pricing but further the amount of detail spelled out in the agreement and we moved cheerfully on. It's one thing to question things one may come across and another to actually have terms spelled out which protects not only us as consumers but also the vendors. My best advice is that Texas Cleaning Services provided a very good job at a fair but not lowest pricing available along with flexible staff, management and cleaning professionals coming from a point of view best in class service. This does not mean a verbal agreement is enough. Get all vendor agreements in writing. Jacob the supervisor did a good job standing behind their agreement. Irma the lead cleaner is very good, quite competent and we have requested her as our regular lead person. Maria also did an acceptable and the carpet vacuuming had that high pro finish and looked great for her portion of the work. Tiffany worked diligently to work all our needs into a cohesive document. All in all I recommend this company with 4 stars. They did lose a star for questioning the scope of work without reading through every point. That said, Jacob stepped up to ensure the agreement was going to be honored. So alls well that ends well and we are as committed to a long term relationship as we believe their organization is also committed. jc g

Though, they gave me a time slot that was outside the scope I asked for making me rush things to accommodate for them - this was a bit unwanted. Maids arrived on time, they don't speak or understand English, only Spanish. I walked them through the house. The moment they saw master bathroom, the in-charge maid started saying something in Spanish. She didn't see the shower area or the tub by that time, but made a call saying my place needs a deep cleaning, saying the bathrooms are in need of deep cleaning and not regular, asking to charge me some $80 bucks more or so. Happy to pay that if you are either upfront about it, and do the job you say you would. After this, the service was subpar. The maids would lie about cleaning something they didn't even touch, you'd have to call them over and make them clean things (referring to the tops of bed side stands, dressers, dusting furniture etc.). Overall, the service I received was more of a headache than it was a service. After paying $230 whatever, my shower floor still looks the same. The cherry on top - I asked for kid friendly, safe cleaning supplies. Whatever they used, left a strong chemical smell throughout my house that lasted 2 days. Sharing an after picture of the shower floor ( it's a rented house, and these are stains that don't come off, which they decided not to check first but just charge more and leave as is). Feel like I was ripped off.

I have been a loyal customer of RCJ Cleaning Company for several years, often returning for their services due to my positive experiences. They have generally been accommodating, adapting to my scheduling needs during some challenging times. Initially, I was pleased with their cleaning services, but I have noticed a decline in quality over the last few months. The last two teams I worked with showed inconsistency in their cleaning, often skipping areas and only using basic cleaning tools rather than the products I provided for delicate surfaces. Despite my kindness and providing special equipment for my allergies, I experienced issues with missing cleaning towels and broken equipment without any acknowledgment from the staff. After politely requesting a new cleaning crew due to these concerns, I was disappointed to receive a message stating they would cancel my services. This response felt particularly inappropriate, given my history as a long-standing customer who had always provided constructive feedback and support. While I appreciate the replacement towels and cleaning solutions, the diluted leather cleaner did not meet my expectations. I believe that as a business, customer feedback should be welcomed, and it is disheartening to feel dismissed after years of loyalty. We are so happy we found this home cleaning company! They do a fantastic job cleaning our home every other week. We've used them going on 5 or 6 months now and they have been consistently good. And let me tell you we have struggled finding someone to clean our house that does a good job and at a decent price. Also Ruben the main person who does the scheduling and who you communicate to is amazing! He's super responsive, very nice, and accommodating, like a total dream to work with. This guys knows customer service. The cleaners that come to my home are the same 2 that always come and they do a great job cleaning everything, very attentive to detail. I'm also very aware of how they clean since I used to clean the house myself so I notice when something isn't done and they have gone above and beyond. I highly recommend them and wish I would have contacted them sooner! read more

FINALLY a cleaning team who are professionally trained, eager to please and who take pride in their work. Having used at least half a dozen different teams over the past 10 or more years I've become tired of having my home cleaned well the first time and the first time only. RCJ Cleaning Specialists are absolutely meticulous. They dedicate a designated time to you and will assay any job you request and do a brilliant job as well. Now instead of being disgusted at the half hearted job being done and having to clean up after the cleaning crew I walk around for days afterward with a grin from ear to ear and sincere gratitude in my heart. This is a service company that understands that the way to beat their competition is to provide excellent service to their customers and they did just that for me as a first time customer. RCJ deep cleaned my apartment after it had not been professionally cleaned for 10+ years. Their work and attention to detail was excellent and the team was responsive and addressed all of my feedback during the inspection phase. And to top it off, after the job was completed and the cleaning team had been paid and had left I realized that I hadnt asked for them to vacuum under the couch. I have been using them for about 5 months so they are proven with me. Our expectations are extremely high. I just had my first visit from this cleaning service (Jennifer and Marie). I am SO happy. I am not a particularly good housekeeper, and they worked so hard to get my house up to standard. I am so grateful for the work they did and just scheduled my second visit. I just had my first appointment with RCJ Cleaning and I am beyond impressed! Scheduling and communication leading up to the appointment was easy, with fast response times and clear communication from Reuben. The cleaning was done by Monica and Corazon who seamless navigated myself my mother and two dogs all at home while doing the best cleaning I've ever had. From ceiling fans to a previously neglected shower, everything is spotless! I requested a move-out cleaning. I would've preferred the means of communication to be via calling more than texting for this type of service, but RCJ people replied promptly so no problems there. There was a bit of trouble communicating with the cleaners as they didn't speak much English, but they otherwise were nice and did a good job. Do remember to double check their work as they might forget to clean certain spots. Price seems to be around the average as far as I know it. Overall I like the experience. read more

Monica and Corazon have been our two cleaning specialists for several times now and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are so friendly and accommodating, and everything smells clean and fresh. They inquire as to where we would like them to start to allow for our comings and goings. We had been through a number of janitorial services before we found RCJ. Their prices are reasonable. But their service is top notch. We have very specific areas that they are not allowed in as we are a pathology lab. They have always complied. Everything is spotless when we come in Monday mornings, with all the bathrooms stocked for the coming week. AND the kitchen is spotless. I really can't say enough about Ruben and his crew. We went through different teams of cleaners.. some were better than others however we found a team of sisters who are excellent (I believe Monica and Corazon). What they had actually done, was pack their stuff and driven away. I checked my security camera when they hadn't come back into the house after about 25 minutes. They flat out lied to me! I got a text a few minutes after that saying they had completely cancelled my cleaning. This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. For what they tried to charge, I was expecting something a lot better than being lied to and unable to communicate with the people sent to do the job. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
