Terrible! The phone number is a cell phone and they don't answer it. Worst towing experience ever.

Warning to anyone broken down in the Petersburg area: do not let AAA send you here…read more The manager drove out to get us after a 15-hour highway breakdown and talked us out of going to our arranged destination by promising they were close to town, had RV parts, could fix our truck, and had a beautiful farm facility. Every single thing he said was false. They looked at our truck in the morning on Saturday, then said it was dead so they'd charge the batteries and be back. They never came back. We ended up stranded at a remote, run-down yard with no transportation, no power, and no way to leave for an entire holiday weekend. No one answered our calls or texts for three days. My son had to ride his dirt bike on the highway just to get gas for our generator. When they came back Monday they charged $899.99 for about two hours of actual diagnostic work, fraudulently double-billed our tow, and physically blocked us from leaving until we paid over $1,149 in full. They argued it was because of the holiday even though they were open Saturday and just didn't come to work on our truck as they promised. They refused to listen when we questioned the massive bill, arguing they were helping us and let us stay there, even though we didn't want to be there and were only stuck there because they'd stranded us and forced us to go there in the first place! This is not a business that helps people in emergencies. This is a predatory business that exploits them. Virginia Attorney General complaint filed.

However, I want to sincerely commend Family Auto & Towing for how they handled the situation once it was brought to their attention. The owner personally reached out to me, quickly refunded the towing fee, and offered to cover the full cost of repairs without hesitation. They were professional, accountable, and understanding throughout the entire process. Mistakes can happen in any industry -- what matters most is how a company responds, and in this case, they truly stepped up. It's rare to see a towing company take full responsibility like this, and for that, I'm genuinely grateful. Thank you to Family Auto & Towing for making things right and treating me with respect.

Fletcher's Towing is the only company you should be calling to tow your vehicle!…read more I was stranded on a Saturday night with mother's day being the next day. He dropped everything he was doing to come get my car where it needed to go! He is thoughtful and treats your car exactly how he would to his own. I always have peace of mind and trust for my Corvette to get handled perfectly. It is very inexpensive for the quality of work. Look no further and give them a call! John

This is a five star review so you already know my thoughts, but after speaking with Chris today I…read morethink it's important to go into a bit more detail. For any company out there HOW they do business is just as important as whether they do a good job. Read on. I'll try to entertain you along the way I promise. I don't know jack about cars. It's not my thing and never has been and I always feel like an idiot when something goes wrong because while it would probably be a good idea to learn what makes my car go VROOM VROOM life is too short and I have other things I'd like to spend my time on. So one day I wake up and my car won't VROOM or even turn on. Crap. It's stuck in the drive way and there's no easy way to jump it in the position it's in. How do I even jump a car? ::Googles how to jump a car:: "Jumping your car might lead to injury death and maybe destruction of electrical equipment/starter" oh nice great easy I'll pass thanks. I called a few shops, some big, some small. All of them tell me it's an alternator problem based on the dash lights, age of the car, etc. I'm told I shouldn't try and jump it because it could die at any moment which might lead to me dying any moment so just have the car towed and they'll do some diagnostic work on it. My BS detector starts perking up but again, not a car guy. I look on yelp and see that Sam's is pretty close to where I live so I put out a request for a quote. Yelp told me they would send it to a few people I said sure fine whatever. Within a few minutes I get a message from Chris asking for some details about what's wrong with my car. I tell him it won't start and relay what the shops told me. He gave me a quote and said he could squeeze me in sometime today (we spoke yesterday evening). Oh I also got an automated message from another towing company this morning, and the third one never bothered to respond. Fast forward to this morning Chris shows up at my house and immediately pulls out a jump kit to get my car started to rule out the alternator problem. Why? He's the guy towing my car why does he care....? It starts and stays start-ed. He tells me to skip the shop and go to advanced auto where they can test my battery and throw a new one in because it's definitely not my alternator. (I also googled what an alternator was because cars are ::waves hands:: made of magic or something). There was a service charge for him to come out which I felt was more than fair for the amount of money he saved me. Turns out it was just a dead battery most likely from the heat and not going anywhere/working from home. He could have made more for towing me a mile down the road and let the mechanic figure it out but he didn't. That is....so important these days. In the business I'm in, integrity is in short supply (Real Estate. Don't even get me started), and honestly it seems like it's in short supply everywhere. Nobody is honest with each other and it's very rare you come across people, let alone business owners, that aren't trying to skin you alive and pull a fast one on you to make an extra buck. Chris didn't do that. He was professional and honest. I know he wasn't trying to just fix the issue so he could cut and run to the next job. We sat and spoke for a bit while the car ran just to make sure it wouldn't abruptly die. After he left I almost felt like I ripped him off for not ripping me off. Is that weird? That's weird isn't it. Anyway five stars A+ would definitely call him for any future towing needs and you should too.

I hate to leave this review because I've been coming to Clarks Auto in Prince George for about 5…read moreyears, but my recent experience was unacceptable. After my vehicle was serviced, my seat came back damaged and pulled apart near the controls. The damage was NOT there before my appointment. I contacted the shop multiple times trying to speak with the manager, but my calls were never returned. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, the receptionist accused me of causing the damage myself. As a long-time customer, I expected much better customer service and accountability. This situation also reminded me of previous concerns about pricing. For example, charging around $60 to replace a basic air filter that costs about $10 and takes only minutes to install felt excessive. Very disappointed with how this was handled. I simply wanted honesty, professionalism, and responsibility taken for the damage done to my vehicle. And please do not respond to this review acting concerned now. You had plenty of time to contact me and resolve this issue properly. You have my number -- call it.

She went to pay the 150.00 today and they slammed the door in her face. They dont close until 430 she showed up alittle after 415. They closed the doors early today... shut them right on her. I still cannot believe what I witnessed today. The devil is at work. I pray they have it in there heart to give this child het things, and so one better and give her the car... She was living in it at times. If it was there kid would they do the same i think not!
