Very recently, I was in their office to drop off the batteries for our pontoon boat. That evening, I received a text from an antagonistic individual in the neighborhood which included a photograph of me covertly taken while I was in the Holiday Harbor offices. The text included profanity and threats. It turns out that Charles, the owner of Holiday Harbor, took the picture and sent it to at least one individual in the neighborhood, who then used it to send a threatening message to me. That individual was arrested and, when confronted with his actions, Charles indicated he does this type of thing routinely. I have never encountered a business owner, particularly in a small community, that behaves in that fashion. It is astonishing that a local business owner would act in that manner, intentionally and deliberately creating a controversial and potentially dangerous situation. I strongly recommend, for your own safety, that you avoid doing business with Charles. He has a great staff, but he should not be trusted whatsoever under any circumstances. Regrettably, there is no option to rate this business with less than one star.

The motor was bad and certain parts were no longer manufactured. The team at Lawson spent weeks diligently trying to find the parts but were not successful. I ended up purchasing a used motor. Mark, Trevor, the President of Lawson's, Andy and even the owner of the marina all worked to fix problems that kept creeping up with the motor. Mark, knowing the trouble I had had with my first motor, went so far as to come in on his day off to make sure I would be taken care of. The team is incredibly knowledgeable, determined and creative in problem solving. They exhibited top customer service and patience towards me and my little fishing boat. Kudos and thanks to Lawson Boat and Motor.

Launch itself in good condition and nice long pier. Bathroom facilities including shower available and in good condition. Restaurant was crowded on a Fri night so probably good food but we didn't try. Reservoir is gorgeous and worth the visit but I'll try a different launch next time.

The boat was improperly blocked by the marina on Chautauqua lake. Huge problem but Jim stuck to the task. It was amazing to see him work over 3 to 4 hours getting the impossible task solved and my boat on the road. He got it in the water without any problem. My highest praise for this professional and very competent man. The job turned out to be far more difficult than he anticipated. Despite many extra hours of work he asked for no additional charge other than the original agreed fee. I happily gave them a tip. More importantly if any and all of my friends need boat moving services I will recommend this fellow without the slightest hesitancy. He is 100% confident, professional and very nice to deal with.
