i called on the behalf of my boyfriend because his car front right tire came off the rim. we…read moreinitially called AAA who had two cancellations because he was told that they're on their way. Then the number was manipulated by the AA independent tow company. We then got a call from an agent that said they completely understand and they will take care of it "asap" yet did not. They didn't call us, text us, no communication, leaving my boyfriend hopeless along with helpless. With that they showed no kindness in a time of need. Due to the environment that his car was parked in, it wouldn't have been a good decision to leave overnight. So I went on the hunt and searched for a tow company that's open 24 hours. I came across Maurice and Sons. Gave them a call and the first man I spoke to which was the owner, was so kind. He heard out my/his situation and gave us a time frame along with an approximate of cost. I went forward with it because I refused to leave it overnight where it was at (especially after talking to my boyfriend experience right before they came). They came on time 30 mins. The owner's son showed up and also showed kindness. This was more kindness within 1 hr than we received the entire day when this started which was at 7pm today. They communicated with him the entire way and en route. The price of a tow (per destination) was beyond reasonable as such late hour 12:52a too. Talk about coming in the clutch and within the nick of time too. You guys don't know how grateful I am and I know these words don't do half the justice, but truly thank you. For everything. The kindness, promptness, careful handling of tow. If anything else is ever needed you will be in front of my mind first. To those reading this review, PLEASE support your local businesses because they always do it better than commercial/corporate. They treat you like a person and not a cash cow. That to me means a lot - especially in this time. Maurice and Sons you are valued and cherished by these two customers. MAKE THAT 0 STARS... So, we brought our car to the business…read moredue to the sunroof being shattered by a car wash. When we first went there, Alicia was very pleasant and eager to help. We were undecided about where to bring our car, and based on their having a volvo dealership, we decided to have it repaired by them. This was assuming they knew how to repair cars. The 1st time we picked up the car, we were unable to try the sunroof b/c of the snow. We tried it once we got it in our garage and when we tried to open it, there was a horrible grinding/crushing sound. We immediately closed it. We let Alicia know and she told us to bring it back and they would take care of it. No problem. Brought it back. Picked it up a 2nd time. Same crushing/grinding sound. This time, we brought it in a 3rd time and spoke with Todd(manager) who assured me he would have it taken care of as this was a complicated sunroof assembly. We picked it up, and sadly we waited until the following week to try it out on a gorgeous day. SAME PROBLEM. Brought it back a 4th time, and spoke with Rene who finally admitted that the technicians "probably don't have the knowledge to fix this". By this time, they're pretty much blaming us for their mechanical ineptitude. Todd spoke to me via phone, and let me know that basically all I paid for was for the glass replacement. So, I wonder if you had a front collision and the bumper and radiator were damaged if they would only replace the bumper and tell you the rest is not their problem. We will not bring the car to such an incompetent place of business for the 5th time. BUYER BEWARE.....CAVEAT EMPTOR

One of our neighbors actually came over and talked to him as the car was getting put on the flatbed. We called before noon on a Monday and he said he would be here later in the afternoon. The car was gone before 1pm, way sooner then we expected. I've only used a tow once before so I was worried about the cost. Luckily he charges very reasonable prices and it only cost us $50 for a 6.6 mile tow (15 minute drive).
