I've dealt with a lot of people over the years, but Robert Drummond, the owner of this towing and impound company, was by far one of the most hostile and unprofessional. We went to pick up my son's locked vehicle and found items missing and the inside of the car completely gone through and trashed. When I confronted him about it, he just squared up at me and said, "prove it," then refused to show any security footage from his property. Things got even more unsettling when he stepped toward me in a threatening way and told me to "take your car and get off my lot." Later on, I learned this is the same man who shot and killed a 36 year old man on his property during another vehicle dispute and somehow walked away free. Worst tow company ive ever delt witb or heard of somehow have the state cops in there back pocket so they feel they can treat woman with disrespect and way over charge.i got charged 361.00 for a 17 mile tow and wouldent tow to my house was after hours so had to have anouther tow company go tow it from there place.should not be legal.dont use these people there not good people read more

Worst experience of my life. They towed my car from an accident. Then I proceeded to call many times to try to set up a time to come get my car. They kept giving me the runaround saying that I had to wait for the owner. Then they finally set up a time for me to come, so I came and they were closed. I would highly recommend if these people show up to pick up your car from the scene of an accident. You call somebody else and refuse them. The owner is a very Shiesty mean person and not too long ago shot a customer that was confronting him about being this way. And somehow he got away with it. I guess they called it self-defense. But really this guy just takes advantage of every single situation. He possibly can ever pass by and wonder why that truck out front doesn't sell? It's because he is a horrible person. read more

They picked up my car from an accident. I tried to go there I was told come back the next day. I did and they were closed. I then went there 3 more separate times and was told the owner was not there I need to come back another time. I then called 15+ times and got the run around. Then I got a paper I'm the mail saying they were trying to claim possession of my vehicle. These guys are crooks. read more

I had my car towed after an accident when I went there the next day to clean it out. The guy stood there and watched me the entire time. He wouldn't even hand me my keys to unlock my trunk. They are clearly too worried about tow fees on a car that was not drivable, which is probably why it took them two weeks to release my car to my insurance company after I gave them verbal permission the day after the accident. Each time the insurance company called this tow company said they were closed, unavailable or didn't have the total fees yet. read more

BEWARE, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! I usually never write reviews, however my experience with this company was so horrible I feel like all consumers should beware!! I am a local business owner and one of my vehicles went off the road during the ice storm. When the police arrived they called a tow truck from Road Ready. when the driver arrived he only had time to pull the vehicle out of the snow bank and leave it on the side of the road. A charge of $75.00 just to get it out of the snow bank. however my employee could not cover the cost, he did not have the funds. but the driver demanded payment and would not allow any other tow truck company to load my vehicle as it was none drivable. As the business owner I was trying to make payment with my credit card over the phone. The owner of road ready said he reserve the right to ask for proper I.D and would not take my card over the phone. I had to physically load my child in my car(snow day no school) and drive to the accident location, as Road Ready demanding cash or check only. I was furious but had no chose they would not let any other Tow company take the truck until the $75.00 was paid. When I got there to give him my credit card he said " I had to wait so the charge just went up to $165.00, keep in mind this was just to pull the vehicle from the snow bank. I was so upset but could not do a thing, as I proceed to give him my credit card with my I.D. he says " Oh, I can not take it now, my driver just responded to another call and has my "square" care reader. I was like are you kidding me??? Can you call him so he can now take it over the phone now that you have seen my I.D.? He says "No, your card might be denied, you have to drive over to my shop and pay" I look at the officer for help as I am desperate and this guy is being so unreasonable! The cop can not offer any help, as Road Ready can apparently do this. Once I get over to his shop (a 15 minute drive on horrible roads with a child) he has his place gated off, I could not pull in. I call him and he say " I do not want you inside I am sending someone out to take your card" The owner of Road Ready is unethical and he is a lair! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!! read more
