The service was always great when it came to delivery. The website and resources allocated to customer service are not very good. The website is very temperamental and often doesn't allow orders to be placed, because it lags at every click. I've emailed through the portal several times and never get a response. I call the service number and eventually have to hang up after 15 or 20 minutes of holding. I finally got someone after 25 minutes. They gave me the status of my delivery and confirmed that my information was updated, but it takes so long to accomplish anything. If anything comes up again, I'll have to dedicate a vacation or personal day to get anything resolved. read more

Once account is set up, the service is good. We are a long time customer of Ready Refresh and the service has improved over past few years. My current issue is with changing my address. Ready Refresh requires that you speak with an agent to do this vs. doing it on line. Dropped to zero stars recently. Cannot get any customer service help without waiting 45 minutes, then you ask to drop service and get routed to another 45 minute wait. I'm not one to write a lot of online reviews. If I have a problem with a company I typically will try to get it resolved by contacting them. I would only post a review as a last resort. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. I used them for about 2 years. Things generally seemed "okay". I would mostly get the deliveries on time, frequently there would be delays but usually it was something weather related and I am pretty easy going so it wasn't a big deal. Then no water came for 2 months. Which didn't bother me terribly either, until I happened to see that they had charged me over $200 for water I never got!!!! I was shocked. I went back and looked at bills over the last 2 years and there were all kinds of false charges on there. At some point they added a delivery fee and never notified me-- everything was withdrawn automatically. I tried to call. No answer. Phone lines down. No option to chat. I sent them email upon email, begging them to at least cancel my service, much less refund me for the money they stole. At this point I am 100% convinced this company is a scam. There is no way to cancel service online and no way to delete my credit card information. There is no way to contact anyone at the company. I thought "well maybe I'll post a bad review online and someone will be upset by that and contact me". But I am not at all surprised to see many people in the same boat. Trust me, this company is a nightmare and you should avoid it at all cost-- or at least to the tune of several thousand dollars, which is how much they stole from me over the years. read more

Prices have doubled since i first signed up for service. Understandably there was a pandemic but i am not joking when i say DOUBLED. The delivery fee, the 5 gallon water prices...doubled. Aside from that, whenever there is an issue and i try to call customer service it is impossible to get through to someone. It's always an automated message that says "Due to high call volume...". I was promised a $5 discount over my next 6 deliveries. It went through for the first one and then it wasn't on the second one. I've had it up to here with their broken promises so i cancelled service all together. It is more cost efficient to go to BJS and by a 5-Gallon water for $6.99 than to pay $10.99 with Ready Refresh. Also, i was promised i would be refunded my $20.00 for the bottle deposit hold when i had first signed up. They came and took the last of my empties and instead of refunding my credit card, i have a $20 credit with a company i don't ever plan on using!!! Worst company to deal with. They continuously change the delivery dates and lie about having stopped by. We canceled the services and they have changed the pick up date three times now. On one occasion the driver lied about having stopped by and calling. We were home all day that day and had the machine and 8 water jugs they never picked up outside with a huge sign that read "ReadyRefesh pick up." When we called customer service and stated we would leave it outside, the lady on the line was very rude and stated they would charge us if the machine isn't returned. I just wanted to write a review because I've experienced Ready Refreshes service over the past 3 years. The past year has been really bad with many delays and cancelation. But it seems in the past 2 months Ready Refresh has made a big effort in hiring more people and trucks to correct their mistakes and make their deliveries on time. They have also been much more attentive to expressing their apologies to their costomer and following threw with a plan to make sure the service will improve. You call the number on the card and it says go to the website. You go to the website and there is no place to put in for the service. You call customer service and it says go to the website. They simply do not want business. I gave 2 stars because I have consistently received water deliveries, although trying to modify auto delivery on the website is a write up in itself. I've used them for decades but recently the cost has been shooting up and service has been getting worse and worse. For at least a year, every regular delivery is rescheduled two or three times. The company used to offer a responsive customer help service, but customer support is nonexistent. The only complaint option is an email with a promise to get back to you in three to five days. I recently cancelled my account with ready refresh after being a customer with them for three years. I became fed up with their service; deliveries showing up, not prescheduled constantly. The last straw was finding my delivery of (4) 5 gallon bottles by the sidewalk at my apartment building (not front door). I was left to haul them up to the 5th floor, along with having my empty bottles not collected. This was not a communication error; it was just carelessness. I signed up with them about18 months ago for home delivery. The price seemed competitive and our water was always delivered on schedule (emphasis on the word 'schedule'). Trying to change the schedule was another matter. In some cases, we were running short and wanted to move our delivery to an earlier date. Their website provided an option to do this but it never worked! It would accept the new date but the orders still showed the original date. Their website is pretty clunky and not up to today's standard, regardless. The final straw came in June when I received a letter from them, increasing my price by a whopping 61%! No reason given. Can I give them 0.25 stars? 1. EVERY delivery is delayed--since we started the subscription. I'm starting to think they use horse-drawn carts to deliver and hire only retired WalMart greeters as delivery people. 2. We are never notified that the delivery will be delayed. There is frequently no e-mail and no notice for several days. We just wait and then have to go through the trouble of logging-in to see their little message that the delivery has been rescheduled. 3. Eventually, the deliveries come--after we've bought extra water elsewhere to fill in the gap. Two times, they left all our water bottles outside on the street rather than bringing them up to the apartment as agreed upon, presumably so that the neighborhood dogs could urinate on them. Or, perhaps they were feeling charitable enough to donate our water to the passers-by on the street. At least once, they left the bottles in the rain. At lease the dog pee had been washed off so it was not quite as unpleasant to carry several giant 5-gallon bottles up myself. 4. Customer service resolves nothing--even when we call to say the delivery did not come. Usually, it's "Thank you for telling us; we value your input and we want to improve. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it." Other times, it's "Yes sir! We completely understand your displeasure! That was very frustrating, I'm sure. We'll take care of that right away!" Of course, NOTHING gets taken care of. The delivery still doesn't come, and the next delivery is still late--as usual. I'm not sure which I dislike most--being being told the truth or being lied to. I get that the customer service people are just relaying messages; it's not their fault--they need to eat. But clearly, they have no power to do anything but be a voice to make you think the company cares and is trying to resolve an issue. "Mm-hmm! Oh yes! That's 100% right! I agree with you! How terrible of us to be so remiss! We'll take care of this immediately!" 5. When the dispenser cleaning is scheduled (which you must pay for), they are quite prompt--early service with a smile. That never gets delayed because they charge extra for it. But for regular everyday service? There is no sense of urgency or even the slightest effort to do proper customer care. I think I've wasted a good ten hours of my life calling and waiting for customer service, buying extra water and trying to get resolution. I could have bought a dolly and delivered my own water for the time it has taken. read more

I am pleased with every aspect of the service but this is the second time that I have had to deal with being charged rental for a unit that I purchased. Initially, I rented a unit but wanted a bottom loader. At the time, I couldn't rent one so was forced to buy. I realized that I was still being charged rent. When I called, they did remove the rent. Now, many months later, I find rental charges for two months. Initially, I emailed but received no reply. When I called, I was told that they still had information that I still had a rental. I was told that the issue would be dealt with.I am now in the process of having my auto pay changed. read more

They skip delivery 50% of the time and still bill me. Every other month I have to call for a credit, and still no water. I've been 'mistakenly' mis-billed by Ready Refresh so many times, that my only explanation at this point is that defrauding their customers is a big part of their business model. Unsurprisingly, the billing mistakes always seem to favor Nestle, and never do I seem to be accidentally underbilled. You call them on the phone and they're all apologetic, and make it right, but then it happens again and again and again. WORST.SERVICE.EVER. I have been a customer of Ready Refresh for several years. They have had bad bumps in the road, but this is the absolute worst. I had a delivery scheduled for Feb.11. Today is Feb. 23. I still do not have my water delivery. Each day, they push it back one day...then another...then another. Now, my delivery is scheduled for Feb. 24. I'll believe it when I see it. I have emailed multiple times, and only got the reply, "It seems you've been experiencing some issues with our service. We're very sorry and frankly, a bit embarrassed. As frustrated as you may be with us, we are doubly frustrated that we failed to meet your needs. As a result of unexpected operational challenges, we are experiencing service delays. We appreciate your patience as we work to solve these issues. Please know that we are doing everything we can to deliver to you on time.Stay Hydrated,The ReadyRefresh Customer Experience Team". This told me NOTHING. I have been renting a water dispenser that I cannot use because they will not deliver the water. I have tried calling the customer service number, but only get a recording of "due to high call volume our customer service team is not available at this time" and directs the caller to their website. I have paid my invoices on time and in full, but they have not delivered what I have purchased. What's worse is that I have seen Ready Refresh delivery trucks on my street all week...so they are obviously in my neighborhood (one was parked in front of the building across the street last week). How is this company still in business? I don't understand. I signed up in January, the first two deliveries went well and they showed up on time and picked up the old bottles I had. Then in March they decided I didn't need water and just skipped my delivery without notice. They actually sent an email saying the water was going to be delivered on a specific day, so I left my 5 giant bottles outside the door all day and no one came. I called and they said I had requested to skip delivery for that month which was not true. So I rescheduled my delivery and once again I got the email saying they were out for delivery but no one showed up. This went on and on for 2 months and I had to keep those 5 gallons bottles in my tiny living room cause I did not have any other place to put them. At the end of May I moved out of State and changed the address on their system and even called to make sure they had the new address on file. I scheduled delivery/pick up for the day after my move-in date in the new apartment and once again no one showed up. I decided to cancel the service and switch to Sparkletts. I called ReadyRefresh to ask them to come pick up the 5 bottles and the dispenser since I was going to get a new dispenser and new bottles from Sparkletts. Also I wanted to get my $20 deposit back. They scheduled pick up and never showed up! So now I have this water tower + empty bottles in addition to all the bottles I get from the other service and I don't know what to do anymore to get them to come here and do their jobs! I am going to throw everything away and just give up my deposit at this point cause this is just ridiculous! I've never had a worst experience with a company in my whole entire life. read more
