Unfortunately he didn't respond to my request for details related to the pricing in his estimate in a timely manner. I e-mailed him and he didn't respond via e-mail or phone. I just found out he left a message on Yelp for me requesting we talk about the questions. Without the answers to the questions I couldn't compare his estimate to the other estimates as an "apples to apples" comparison. The questions: - does the price include all permits - does the price include all taxes - does the price include removal & disposal of the old AC unit & clean up after installation It's unfortunate because with more information I may have gone with him, though one issue I had is that the 10 year warranty offered included only parts, not parts and labor. That may not have been an issue if his price was low enough that the savings over going with someone else was high enough to make the risk of taking on potential labor costs acceptable.
