Needed at least a cleanout of a 50 year old cast iron sewer lateral. Rozga did a nice inspection job with a camera snake all the way out to the road, and it was easy to see the significant deterioration causing us problems. We opted to have the basement portion replaced first. It was about a month after I had major heart surgery and the Rozga guys were very helpful covering and protecting expensive tech equipment in my basement workshop from the cement dust that would result from ripping up the floor to get at the lateral. Unfortunately, as part of the plastic curtaining, they were using a staple gun to attach the sheeting to a joist in a hard to reach area, near the central networking hub where there's a ton of wires, and the ceiling and the wires are all painted black. Maybe 20 minutes in, I started hearing a fateful beeping from all our alarm system zone modules that indicated comms failure. I told them I suspected they had done SOMETHING to the alarm bus. Supervisor tells me they were being very careful (which I fully believe) but I show him the dead alarm keypad and tell him "well it was working before you got here." He comes back maybe 20 minutes later with this look of trepidation on his face that I recognize as vendor fear. He sheepishly tells me I'm right and that they drove a staple thru a wire. Having worked with tradespeople for many years, I understood that his fear was that I was going to call some private alarm company, have them come out to do a potentially expensive debug and repair to the system, and ask Rozga to pay to repair the damage. Stuff like that happens all the time. I asked him to show me what happened. It's in a place where the sheeting had to corner and I could barely make out was going on, especially since the black paint makes it almost impossible to distinguish what the heck is going on behind the translucent plastic. Quite frankly I was impressed he found it given how hard it was to see, and I told him so. Then I told him it was not a problem, I had that kind of wire in stock. I then reminded him he had stapled something I do in my line of work and that I could fix low voltage wiring. Knowing where the fault was, it meant I could have my 15yo son do the work under my direction a few days later. No harm, no foul, and no cost. The look of relief was instant. I have occasionally seen people in the trades make mistakes and then dig in their heels, refusing to admit a mistake. Rarely do I see tradespeople actively work to find a mistake that is outside their wheelhouse. I am happy to do business with Rozga again in the future when it comes time to replace the rest of the lateral. Good people, neat work, very pleased with the end result. read more

I needed multiple things 'looked at' plus new plumbing set up for my refrigerator. Dan gave me advice on the small things and got my fridge water flowing. During the home inspection it was recommended the Palmer valve be serviced. As this is something that newer homes do not have, I trusted the recommendation of the home inspector on who to call. Usually I like to get a few bids but in this case, went immediately with Rozga. I sent a request online had a call and was informed the best case and the worst case when the technician would visit. I was very helpful that it would be the best case as that was save me tons of money, time and the headache of having the basement floor drilled. I like how you are informed via text and a phone call that the technician is in route. The text even included a picture so I would know who to expect at the door. Matt, a super friendly plumber was at my service. I shared the detail of what was uncovered during the home inspection and Matt like me hoped for best case in what he would find. Seriously jealous of all the positive reviews. We hired Rozga to install a new shower arm and drain. Over $2K. The job they did was messy. Chipped exposed drywall in the shower, split 2x4 for shower arm support (causing the shower arm to move in and out), and a shower arm that easily moved left and right. Called them back out within 48 hours to fix the movable shower arm and was charged again for 30min of labor. When in reality they should have come out to fix their messy work not at my cost. I have other plumbing projects lined up and will be researching other companies in the area. If you are a single female, prepare to get taken advantage of by Rozga. read more

The plumber who came out, Andy, talked me through whether I needed to do some of the repairs or not. He was certainly willing to do them, but he did give me his professional opinion, which I greatly appreciated. And when he did fix some of the items, he did an excellent job. After seeing the stellar reviews on Angie's List, I began using Rozga this year to complete some plumbing projects. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the office team and the technician. The work was done well and although there were a few obstacles it was completed on time and on their estimate. Am going to update my previous review to a 1 star due to the following. Recently experienced furnace problems so I called a different HVAC company because of the issues with Rozga with my water heater (see previous review). New HVAC company informed me that my Trane furnace that Rozga installed was not wired properly - the Trane furnace is a 2 stage furnace and Rozga wired it so that it would only go on low heat and the high heat/high fan didn't work. In addition, Rozga wired up the central humidifier into the furnace incorrectly. read more

Since 2/2012, we've had Rozga install a power-vented hot water heater, a pressure assist toilet and just last Monday, a high-efficiency furnace. Jeff G. has always been prompt, courteous and professional. The techs that did each install were also very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had. Chris S. and Nate R. spent hours installing our furnace to ensure that everything worked correctly. This being on an 85 degree day with high humidity! When Chris had problems connecting up to our new WiFi thermostat, Jeff came back and spent 2 hours troubleshooting and on the phone with Honeywell to get our thermostat connected. We had a terrible experience with Rozga. To start things off, they showed up at 8am when our time window was not supposed to be until after 3:00, when we were home from work. Then, after about an hour, we were told that there was an issue with the main line and that we would have to wait for the city repair crew. We were charged $170 for zero work being completed ($70 for a service charge, which we were happy to pay, but $100 for "work"), and with no timeframe or follow up in terms of when we could expect repair. When we called the next day to speak with a customer service representative, we were told that we would get a call back after the weekend. No one returned our call or made any effort to follow up or remedy the situation. Overall, we were extremely unhappy with the lack of customer service with Rozga. I needed the valves under my kitchen sink re-plumbed because the previous people who remodeled the kitchen had the sink so tightly on top of the values that they could not be turned. Arnie at Rozga re-plumbed the valves and made the operational. He returned the next morning just to ensure that there were no leaks as we had to wait 6 - 8 hours to turn the water back on. The pipe glue needed time to cure. He also repaired the sink faucet so that it now rotates without having to use 2 hands to push it side to side. He was very efficient and did excellent work. I am very happy. I don't know if they are more expensive as it is almost impossible to compare, but the work was absolutely done well and he did not waste any time. I called Rozga Plumbing to deal with a badly clogged kitchen sink drain. I was impressed with the care that was taken - the plumber protected the bottom of my cabinet with a clean piece of canvas and when he was done, he removed the canvas and cleaned the floor of the cabinet. All of my questions were answered. Even my dog liked the plumber! I wasn't sure, because I didn't get any bids, but I thought it was a bit pricey, but they fit me into their schedule very quickly. My a/c was out in May, so I scheduled a service appointment with Rozga. Rozga technician came out on June 5th, diagnosed that the system needed more freon. He also made a repair to the tray that was causing water to leak out of the furnace unit. He was surprised the air unit outside only took one pound of freon, because he thought it would be more. Bill was $281 and change and I paid him on the spot. Well it was 60 degrees that day, so I turned the air off again. We had cooler weather the next few days, so it was several days before I turned the air on again. It worked fine for about 2 days, and then stopped again. In the meantime I get a call from the tech that he made a mistake on my bill and I owe another $80. The bill said full amount is due at the time of service, which I paid. Seems pretty obvious to me that he misdiagnosed the problem, since he himself thought it would take more than a pound of freon. I don't think it was a freon problem at all, and he misdiagnosed it. Now a month later I get a bill in the mail for the extra $80. I feel like I was ripped off by the technician misdiagnosing my problem, and then asking for more money. I was under the impression, as I think anyone would be, that I had already paid the bill in full. Not to mention I already threw away $281 for a repair that didn't fix my problem. My air doesn't work, so he fixed nothing. I can tell you that I'm never using this company again. Their technicians don't seem to know what they're doing, and the company is dishonest in their billing practices. I would highly recommend you call someone else. read more

We had a great experience with Rozga! We had an issue with our sink plumbing. We had a clog that even a snake wouldn't get out. A Rozga employee came out and fixed the clog for $168. He was efficient and I thought the price was reasonable. When my husband was remodeling the shower, we encountered an issue. We called Rozga and explained the issue. They told us it would cost $900 to fix OR we could go get a $40 part from a plumbing specialty store in Milwaukee that they told us about. We got the part and fixed the issue ourselves. I'm surprised by the previous reviews on Rozga plumbing and heating. I have recently used them and have only great things to say about them. I never had any issues with the office staff when I went to schedule an appointment and / or inquire about some of the issues we were having in our home. Our service provider, Matt S., was very professional and spent a lot of time over the course of two visits to explain what the issues we were having in our newly purchased home were caused by and how we could fix them. We had a slew of problems - leaking shower, corroded fixtures, low water pressure in the kitchen faucet, and a weird loud buzzing noise that could be heard outside the house when we turned on the hot water. Matt looked at our shower and explained that it wasn't a plumbing issue, but a tile issue - the previous owner used the incorrect grout causing water to seep through into the kitchen below. We were told by other contractors we had come through after Matt suggested that was the problem and they all said the same thing - wrong grout used. We appreciated Matt's honesty and the fact that he spent time with us explaining the issues. Thank you!! read more
