Avoid Real Deal Van Lines. They failed to complete a clearly contracted stop during my move (Roxbury Beacon Hill North End), leaving us stranded on the street with our belongings for nearly two hours before telling us they simply wouldn't come. We were forced to scramble, rent a car, and move a significant portion of our items ourselves. At the final location, the situation got worse--the movers refused to carry items up to the apartment and instead dumped boxes and furniture on the sidewalk. We had to finish the move ourselves with help from friends, while still being charged hundreds of dollars for "service" that was never actually provided. When we tried to resolve this reasonably, the company was rude, dismissive, and then completely stopped responding. After being ignored, we sent a formal demand letter and ultimately had to take them to small claims court--where we won. Even then, they refused to pay, skipped a court hearing, and only responded after being served by a sheriff. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've dealt with. Recently moved from Fitchburg, MA to Manchester, NH (in a third floor unit). and what could have been a stressful day was as smooth as could be thanks to Rusty and Chris R, who were a father and son duo from Real Deal Van Lines. They will pack your belongings starting in the middle of the van to the door, leaving the front part empty and then claim the van is full and that you need to hire another van. LIARS. I've seen the bad reviews on here.... but this was not at all my experience. I purchased a dining room set off of Facebook marketplace and was in need of a moving company to help pick up my items. Real deal van lines contacted me shortly after I left them a message. Anna was wonderful to deal with. I also spoke to Dave about the handling of my items, and he put my mind at ease that everything would go smoothly. Everything went great! The movers were respectful of covid times and wore masks. I hired Real Deal Van Lines to move me out of my home. After 2 hours they stopped and announced they used up their time. I guess the customer is allotted only 2 hours....I had to beg them to move my precious oil paintings of my ancestors which were thrown into their van. I pray the paintings aren't damaged. The rest of the furniture just remained in the home as they refused to move any more items until they agreed to a second trip for $580. The first van wasn't even full; they could have organized it from the beginning. I asked for at least 6-12 garment boxes, so I could hang my very expensive designer clothes upright. After their arrival, they announced they djd not have any and just grabbed my designer clothes and threw them uncaringly into boxes in heaps. I was absolutely horrified. Today is the day of the moving out of their storage space into my new apt. I was instructing the movers the sofa goes here, the side tables go there, here's where the dining table go...well, they don't work that way. "Mam", they said, "we have to unload the van." And three of them just streamed in and out with furniture and boxes dropping them where ever. There was absolutely no order. The living room is jam-packed with furniture and boxes heaped on top of each other as is the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is chock-full of boxes as well with huge boxes and an armoire blocking the door. I can't even get in. I was verbally quoted by Anna $580 to delay the move for a day and $580 to move the furniture but at the end they charged $739 to ' the move and $1,070 to move the furniture. When I found damaged items, Dave refused to have them fixed even though they have insurance. Obviously, there was water in my storage unit as a box of books came back wet and falling apart; some books also had water damage and were damp and crumpled. A piece of artwork's guilt frame has disintegrated in one corner and on the bottom; another picture's matting has mold due to moisture. None of this looked this way in my home. From experience with Real Deal, who denies anything is their fault, I highly suggest you itemize what they take to storage and it is a must to photograph furniture, art and anything that goes to their storage that is not yet in boxes. I have very expensive pieces of art and they denied their men moved any of it; they insisted it was I who moved the art in a UHaul and "haphazardly threw into my van". My neighbor and I were on the sidewalk talking and watching them move the artwork. Not only do they lie, they bait and switch prices, they blame any damage on YOU and refused to be responsible for fixing any damages. Would I recommend Real Deal Van Lines. Absolutely, not. No way as a client I felt completely abused, and my furniture was treated with great disrespect. read more

The office wants to play games. move seems good at first. ended up going over the quoted time. no big deal. the movers damaged walls in my apartment building. left trash and empty bottles in the hallway corners. after the move was done and I started to unpack, found almost every piece of furniture I had was damaged. called the office. supposedly they filed a claim with their insurance company. have called every week since my move and no answers. just keep getting told it's pending But the guy "handling" it is never in the office and can't figure out how to pick up the phone and return a call. now I have a bunch of damaged furniture that was less than 6 months old. dropped my brand new mattress in a mud puddle. I wrapped my mattress in a mattress bag and taped it closed. not sure how it got soaked and muddy. 10/10 would not recommend. For the cost, I could have done it myself and not damaged my furniture. Only reason I booked movers was to ensure my stuff didn't get damaged moving it to a new location. lesson learned. read more

Definitely not a real deal for me from this van lines. The administrative staff were so cordial when I first call them but as soon as the move day came closer I started to get the real taste. I called them 3 times before the move to let them know that I think I may need a bigger truck since I see more stuff then my initial (more than a month ago) provided inventory. The person on the other end kept saying not to worry and it will fit. Again you assume they are the expert and know their business. Finally they showed up with 16ft truck and all hell broke loose after that. As I feared the movers informed me that they cant fit everything and i will be responsiblw for whats left (which is 60% just to give you an idea). I called the office hoping they will help since I cant be the first one in this situation. Person on the phone was so rude and never understanding of the situation. They never accomodate or willing to reschedule with bigger truck and said they would charge me 2K for cancellation. I had no choice but to go ahead with the move. this was all being dealt on the day of the move early morning at 8 with our 5y and 2ys at home and person on the phone pressuring you to start the move or they will start charging me. It was 2day out of state move so i still had to deal with them. The next day again once the mover have completed unloading, I contacted the office to confirm of the charges i was being asked to pay. As a customer when you are being charged, you have a right to know but again i faced the same rudeness and pressuring to just pay pay and pay. There were few things missing and broken during the move and when asked i was told this "Unfortunately, that damage is pressed wood/manufactured wood and is not covered under insurance". Far from a good experience. We've had the unfortunate luck of having to move a few times in the last few years, so let's just say I know what I'm looking for in a moving company and Real Deal absolutely failed to deliver. One of the big things I learned was how awesome clothing wardrobes can be during a move, first you don't have to take any of your clothes off the hangers, so no need to fold everything up and then you don't have to worry about the wrinkles after the fact. You save a lot of time, effort and energy. So I was very clear in the fact that I wanted to make sure I had at least five of them as part of the move. Not only did they forget them completely, The office manager Dan told me that he would just charge me for regular boxes instead...As if he was doing some sort of favor. I reminded him that now this is going to take more time effort and energy from me and that he should just provide the boxes considering this was a big mistake on their part and he literally yelled at me that I was ridiculous to ask. However, if I did not pay for the boxes (even thought I paid for the missing wardrobes) they would leave my clothes behind. He literally thinks they didn't do anything wrong. This was the start of the downfall of the rest of the move. We then had damages...they drove over our pavers with the truck when we specifically told them we were ok with them on the grass but to avoid the pavers. Then we found they broke the plug on the baby monitor because they leaned the mattress against the wall it was plugged into so for the first night in our new house we have no baby monitor. 2 days later we found they broke ALL the hydraulic arms on our leather couch and bent an iron coat rack. Dan struck again and said I waited too long to tell him (2 days-because we were still unpacking and taking pictures) so he's not covering anything. Overall the crew was a 3.5 out of a 5 and Dan a 0... poor customer service and attitude. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Not happy don't hire. The guys offered no communication when arriving, barely said a word while working. Then there truck dies! After three hours loading they sat there for almost three more hours waiting. Got to my home finally at 630 (again no phone call) then they were there until almost ten. Truck was to small so they didn't take everything (they didn't even talk to us before deciding they'd done enough) then somehow I got charged for 7.75 hours? Cmon guys. Maybe 6 1/2 hours but the whole job did not go 12-8 as listed on the form because of that three hour break waiting for AAA. It was 12:40-3:20 then 6:30-9:45 (half hour to get to new place). They barely even apologized then screwed me on the bill. Never hire them again that's for sure. read more

had the most amazing move with real deal van lines in leominster mass on thursday 8/20. the two guys dane and luis arrived on time introduced themselves. i showed them what needed to be done. they were so professional and respectful and got right to work. they covered furniture that needed care and was careful in the entire move. they worked as a well oiled machine! had to leave to go to closing later and they continued to finish and locked up the home. i met them at the house moving into, they placed boxes and furniture where requested a total great job! thank you! read more

DO NOT HIRE REAL DEAL VAN LINES!!! Broke several items due to sloppy packing and careless moving. Used oversized wardrobe boxes ($18 each) to pack misc items without bubble wrap or paper ($300 Ceramic lamps shoved in with wooden boxes and glass vases for 1 example) I paid $209 per hr for 3 men. Most of the tine the 3rd guy (the supposed foreman) was goofing off, juggling tape rolls, throwing rolls of packing tape like streamers off the 2nd storey balcony at a ground hog. Tape all over my balcony, the neighbor's balocony below and the yard! Same guy sat cross-legged on the floor going threw my photos and playing with my bicycle strobe lights staring at them-"haha sorry-Im just facinated with these...". They went thru my refrigerator and freezer ( they were not packing the food) and ate stuff and put the trash in with my packed clothes _ (i found the wrappers while I unpacked). Then AFTER truck was 85% packed", they forman threatend me to sign the "Start-up" paperwork (the Liability part that basically tries toremove their responsibility.) I asked to speak with Anna, the owner whom I contracted with. After 10 min standing in the hallway with them threatening to empty the truck onto the sidewalk "she's about to get curbside treament", they called Anna. She refused to speak to me but eventually agreed since I wouldnt sign the paperwork until she explained it. Keep in mind they had already broken valuables! As they unpacked at the new house, instead of 2 guys moving my dresser (remember I paid extra for 3) 1 guy slid the dresser across the door jam breaking 2 of it's legs. I said " you broke the legs." He said "I didnt break the legs, the legs broke." I could go on with a dozen more examples... Total cost to pack and move a 2 bedroom apartment that had 2 beds, 1 dresser, 1 sofa. Kitchen table with 6 chairs, hutch, lamps and clothing $2800!!!!! I had previously receive and "on-site" price from another contractor with 2 for $1750! Anna has "estimated 3 guys approx 5-6 hrs! 3rd guy was a waste of money. As for the broken items, Anna has not responded to calls or email. This company is by far the worst moving company that we have ever dealt with! We had contracted with for two days. One day for packing and one day for loading. The guys showed up on day one and worked for 2 1/2 hours and the second day 4 hours. Each day saying they ran out of boxes. They didn't bring the amount of boxes and the types laid out in the contract. When we called the women tried to blame it on my wife for not telling her it was our fault there was not enough boxes when my clearly explained how many rooms and furniture we had. Of the boxes they packed most were done okay but some it was clear they were just throwing things in to get out there. Also they were on the phone constantly and not packing. Dave was good to deal with over the phone and the two guys he sent were nice kids BUT they didn't use blankets when they should have, they carried everything by hand vs using straps etc. lots of damage to my brand new oak stairs, some serious scuffs on my just painted (by a professional furniture refinisher, dented the bottom of my stackable washer/dryer, demolished a lamp shade. Lots of other little things, as well. I texted Dave but have not heard word one from him. I thought he would surely call me to at least check in but nothing but crickets. Believe the recent bad reviews. I hired this company for a small move from Somerville to Newton on August 31. After discussing the details of my upcoming move over the phone (and providing a payment method), I received no email confirmation, receipt, follow-up, or additional info from the company. I thought I'd missed a call or the confirmation email ended up in spam -- nothing. All I was told was that two movers would arrive sometime between noon and 5 PM. On 8/31, I had to call THEM to track down where the movers were and when they would show up. That was a huge red flag for me, and things only got worse from there. When the two movers arrived at my apartment at around 1 PM, neither one was wearing a face mask. One mover noticed my mask and snidely asked me: "Why does everyone here wear masks?" Face masks are required in all Somerville businesses and public areas where social distancing is difficult. Massachusetts COVID-19 Order No. 31 dictates that ALL persons over the age of two are REQUIRED to wear a face mask in public interactions. Additionally, in the midst of a global pandemic, wearing a mask while in someone else's space and handling their personal belongings is simply common sense. Their disregard for my health, the health of my partner, and the health of the elderly woman I now share a space with was appalling. Beyond their refusal to wear masks, the movers also refused to do their jobs. They REFUSED to move more than 10 boxes (I had at least 20 boxes packed and labeled). They claimed that their contract -- a contract I never signed, much less saw -- only covered "10 boxes." Even though I paid for a large moving truck, the truck was less than half full when they had "finished" loading it up. They also refused to carry anything to the curb, including an old mattress, a bookshelf, and other small items I wanted to part with or recycle. I don't have a car here, so I was left to figure out a way to transport the rest of my items, which would end up requiring several trips back and forth from Somerville to Newton. Due to the movers' bizarre refusal to actually move my stuff, I was forced to deal with additional headaches and my confused landlord wondering when I'd be back to take care of the rest of my items. NOTE: The movers only moved one mattress, one bed frame, one TV, one small armchair, a desk, an office chair, and 10 boxes. That's not a move, that's feng shui. I've never heard of a moving company charging by the item, and I was given no contract, statement, or email explaining that policy (if such a policy even exists). Unbeknownst to me, they also asked my partner (not me, the person moving and the person paying for the move) to sign a paper for liability insurance and acknowledging that the first part of the move was completed. The movers provided neither myself nor my partner with a copy of that signed form -- I still haven't seen it, and as the person who paid for the move, I still haven't seen or signed any documentation mentioning a "10 box" limit. Pressuring my partner into signing a form was extremely unprofessional and another HUGE red flag. After working with my partner to arrange another way to transport my stuff, the movers arrived at the final destination. Minutes after they arrived, I heard what no one who is moving wants to hear: the sound of shattered glass. I went outside to see the porch light shattered on the ground. One of the movers carrying the desk inside carelessly hit the porch light and shattered it. He apologized but never said a word about replacing it, or if that damage would be covered by the liability insurance my partner had just signed for. At the same time, the other mover interrupted my work conference call to tell me that my mattress cover got snagged on the stairwell and started to rip off. He said he couldn't find the zipper to fix it. I pointed at the very visible zipper and he figured it out. That was small in the grand scheme of things, but their carelessness when moving my items and lack of common sense was a repeated theme. They completed the move at around 2:30, so the "4 hours" of labor mentioned on the reservation call was less than 2 hours of work. If you're moving, pick a different company. Real Deal Van Lines turned a simple, small local move into a nightmare from start to finish, forcing me to move half of my stuff and make several trips back and forth to my destination. If I knew I'd be doing most of the moving myself, I would've saved several hundred dollars and just rented a U-haul for two hours. The movers were unprofessional and careless, acting more like two kids working a summer job than "professional movers." In the end, I paid several hundred dollars for half of a move and a shattered porch light. I can't imagine a worse moving experience. tl;dr - Save your money. Believe the bad reviews. Corey and Nate were absolutely awesome! They were early, and got everything loaded from my storage unit (a full queen bedroom set and a bunch of totes/boxes) in less than 30 minutes. They were personable, funny, and professional. Unloading my stuff was also just as efficient! After a 45ish minute drive to my new place, they unloaded and set up all of my stuff within 45 minutes. Our experience from the beginning was both traumatic and disheartening. As a younger female who has used several moving companies throughout my time in Boston, I have never encountered such an unprofessional and aggressive company. They originally gave me an arrival window between 8 AM and 12 PM. I had to call three different times to get an estimated time of arrival. The movers had a hectic morning at another site and did not show up until 12:40 (understandable, it is a busy day in Boston). However, the head mover was disrespectful right as he stepped foot into my apartment and I knew I was in for a difficult situation. After some time, he did apologize for being rude, but then continued to be rude and aggressive. The movers showed up in a truck that was already half full of someone else's belongings and immediately said they won't be able to fit our stuff. As time went on, they did NOT fit the rest of our belongings and said we needed to do the rest ourselves. In addition, the items they packed into their truck were handled so poorly even after asking to use blankets and other padding materials. Upon arriving to our new apartment, the head mover began having a verbal altercation with another person who was driving past him. It was extremely uncomfortable for the many people on the street watching this interaction. Once the driver drove off, my roommate and I sectioned off a place for them to park the truck and they began moving our belongings in. In the process, several pieces of furniture were damaged including a bed frame, a bookshelf, a dining room table, and a coffee table. At the end of the move, they would not move my roommates bed frame in. They said they did not have the correct tools to take the head board off, but we had the tools for them to use. They kept shrugging it off until we noticed that the bed frame was broken. They lied and stated that the bed frame was already broken, except that it was a new bed frame and was not broken that morning before the move began. The movers ended up leaving the bed frame outside for us to carry up and then were trying to force us to sign that they finished the job. I let the head mover know that I would not sign because they did NOT in fact finish the job that I was paying for them to do. I stated that I would continue paying them to finish the move, but could not sign off that the move was complete. I also asked if we would receive a discount considering they did not take all of our belongings into the van and we had to finish it ourselves AND they damaged most of our furniture. That is when the head mover started getting extremely aggressive with me and my roommate, meanwhile his partner was in the truck smoking. He began swearing and yelling at us, all of which can be seen on the security cameras stationed right outside our apartment building. As a young female, I felt extremely uncomfortable and almost called the police. I was frightened for months that this mover knew where I lived and would come back. In our total bill, they billed us $16 for tolls, but if you looked at the route, there are no tolls to get from Somerville to Allston. I even calculated it on TollGuru.com and it said the exact same thing. They also charged us for moving tape on the total bill, except that we supplied all of our own moving tape and my roommate even went to the store to buy more just in case. We did not receive a discount and did not receive any money back that they lied about on our total bill. It has taken me months to even be able to mentally revisit this situation and write this review. I would NEVER trust this company and could never recommend them to another person. read more

Hire this company if you want rude customer service, stuff stolen and damaged furniture. I had this service scheduled for Saturday. When I originally booked I asked if there were any hidden fees, which I was told there was not and that it was $179.00 and hour. The guys showed up said they would be done in about and  hour. I thought the truck was small for my stuff but they said they had it. They got all my furniture in and left a room full of boxes but decided to charge me for 30-40 boxes that they never took and left for me to do myself. They didn't leave the premises for about 3 hours later, which is fine I was shocked when they said an hour. I should have stayed because I would soon learn that they were careless with my furniture and stole stuff. When they arrived at my new place I realized they had just thrown my furniture into the truck. I asked one of the kids on the truck if that was my tool kit on the truck and he replied yes. I was unsure why it was there because it was in my garage and not on my move list. He asked if he put it in the drawer if I would remember it, I said yes. I watched him put it in and when I walked away he must have taken it back because it was gone. I called the office to talk to Anne who said she need to touch base with the guys as to why they could not fit all my furniture. By the time they were done and I never received a call back from Anne she had already fraudulently charged my credit card for 360.00 dollars more than agreed. When I would no sign the paperwork they got Anne on the phone. When I asked about the boxes she replied that her Saturday time was precious and she could go over the work order with me but I would have to pay for her time. One of the guys asked for some free stuff from my home which he also took up space in the truck, taking away space for my stuff. I having damaged furniture which I will add pictures and missing hardware in the stuff they put back together. I am now looking for a bracelet that I had in one of my boxes that seems to have gone missing also but I have not finished unpacking. I had the best experience using Real Deal Van Lines. My initial call was for a quote to move from Mass. to NH. I was given a price that was much lower than any others I have gotten so I chose to go with them and I left a deposit. After that I decided to read the reviews and there were a lot of really bad reviews but they were from a couple of years ago so I thought I would give them a chance. Boy did I make the right decision. On the day of my move I was given a 2 hour window from 8-10AM. I got a call from them at 9:00AM saying they would be there in about 30-35 minutes and they were. When they showed up to my surprise there were 3 movers even though I was quoted for 2 since I had mostly boxes to move and a couple of small furniture pieces. I was told immediately that I would be only charged for 2 men. These guys, Nate, Nick and Caleb were quick and efficient. They had all my stuff packed in the truck in a half hour. We then headed up to NH where I told Nate that I was going to make one stop to the ATM as I had only prepared to tip 2 of them but wanted to tip all three. I still thought I would get to my apartment before them but when I arrived they had already gotten there and started to unload the truck. Again, they were in and out in a half hour. These guys were so good and very friendly. It was an amazing experience as I have heard nightmare stories about other peoples moves with different companies. I tipped them really well as I felt they deserved it. Also, when I was handed the bill it was less than I was quoted. I was highly impressed and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mover. If I were to move again in the future they will be my first choice. GREAT JOB!!! read more

I provided a list of items to move up front, and received a quote based on the estimated quantity of hours to load, transport, and unload my items. But it took twice that amount of time - and I paid double. The two movers were nice guys, and I actually liked them. But they were slow and took a lot of small "breaks". The movers damaged several items, including my expensive bedroom furniture. They wrapped/taped it fairly well, but they often dragged items across the truck or ground - which damaged the edges of the furniture. My bed has several deep scratches in it, and was not fully assembled back to the state it was when they arrived. I had to complete the assembly myself - which also involved drilling new screw holes to replace holes they stripped. This furniture was expensive and new, and had no damage. Now it looks worse and it's value has greatly decreased. I also had an expensive TV stand with a glass shelf, but noticed days later that the glass shelf wasn't moved? I'm not sure where it is, but no one contacted me and said "We found your glass shelf on the truck". I strongly suggest that others look elsewhere for a mover. read more

WARNING ... DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY This place was a joke ... took me a few days to tally all the damage to my things and to cool off from how angry I was, only to find out I had only 48 hours to claim anything . What!!! I was beyond disgusted with the service I received! Here's a list of all that went wrong. 1. Took more than double estimated amount of time quoted., I was quoted 4 - 4 1/2 hrs and it took 9 plus hours for an average 3 bedroom home with no extras! 2. Movers damaged more items than I list here. Including , washer, dryer, walls, ceilings, tables... 3. They Sent a small truck and then needed to go back for 2nd trip and still did not fit everything, all the time I'm paying for travel time etc... then I find out a larger truck was available. (Which I pointed out to owner prior to move and was told I had the larger truck) 4. Mover guy announced more than once "can you believe I never moved anyone before?" "This is my first time" .. huh? 5. Movers started complaining towards end and started tossing my stuff anywhere and everywhere ! What a mess I wish I could share photos here ... STAY AWAY!! Where do I start? Let me start with the positive. Dave was very easy to talk to and I thought helpful. The day of the move they were supposed to get there before 5. I was told most likely around midday. This was especially important because the building charges for moves after 5. I shared this information before booking and I was told that it was not a problem. Needless to say they got there around 6:30 and started about 30 minutes afterwards When I spoke to Anna about the additional charge I was now going to incur she said she would wave the insurance. You would think that would be nice, BUT Dave had said all insurances were included in the fee. She now informed me that there was an additional insurance fee and that she wouldn't charge even though I was told it was all covered in the fee. No you think that would be enough but no. The movers were so tired and did not even want to move the stuff. I told Dave the details of the apartment, I specifically told him that I had a very large entertainment system and that it would take time but that I would break it down, which we did. In my eyes it was one piece because it all attached when put together. The movers were attempting to refuse to move it and Anna told them to leave if they wanted to. The movers were notably irritated and expressed they wanted to leave. They ended up leaving stuff behind. They did not finish until around 11. They stuffed everything in the basement. It literally took us months to clear out the basement. When I spoke Anna the owner of how disappointed I was in the service, she literally yelled and was belligerent. I have never experienced that level of unprofessionalism in my life. I picked them because of the price and how friendly Dave was when I called for a quote. I regret that entire experience! Believe me when I say it took months to recover from that move. My move occurred Nov. 2017, now you would think I'd be over it but no, I literally had to give myself space in order to relive that time. I'm sorry for all of those people who have used them since because I hope this yelp review will help someone avoid what I had to endure. read more

Almost every piece of furniture was damaged. Beds were not put together correctly and parts completely disappeared. Couch was left completely apart. Quoted $1600. Charged over $2400 and a storage room (which was part of the quote) was not touched. Movers were blaring rap music from truck. Huge red stain on couch, Powerade? When I called and questioned all of this I was basically told too bad. When I stated I was going on yelp and providing others with this info she told me she was taking this as a threat. Movers continually asked us to go on yelp and provide a 5 star rating so they could earn a free vacation. I would not recommend them and wish we had done more research before hiring them. read more

Our experience with Real Deal was great from the start. Dave was very professional and transparent about our quote. Our awesome movers Manny and Kwamy called us 30 minutes ahead of time and arrived to our apartment even earlier than we expected. They were both so nice, experienced, and moved everything efficiently. No damage, everything arrived safe to our second location and all was done in just under 3 hours. It was one of the smoothest and most affordable moves. I never leave reviews but I felt compelled to because of all of the bad ones that are being left for this company. Move started off ok. 2 guys with a decent size truck. Showed them all my furniture and boxes that needed to be moved. Close to the end of them packing the truck they said they couldn't move several pieces of furniture because the truck was already full. They didn't want to move my washer and dryer and I begged them to add to the truck. There was plenty of room left and so they said I needed to schedule another move to get the remaining pieces! Secondly, they moved things that I told them to leave in my son's room. Thirdly, when we arrived to my new house I noticed large dirt stains on my cream couch on the corner. I asked one of the movers if they had covered my couch during transport and he said they did. I didn't believe him and sent the photos to the guy "Dave" at the company and he said that because they couch wasn't "damaged" that the dirt could be washed off! The cream couch has always had a cover on it. It can't be washed and looks like an oil stain in 3 areas. I was so upset and asked if they would pay for it to be cleaned and he refused!!! Then, they wanted to charge me almost $600 to move the last pieces of furniture! What a rip off! I cancelled and got someone else to move them for $300. I even tipped the 2 movers well and now I think I shouldn't have at all. I will never use these guys again! :( read more

Manny and Roger made my move easy, they were very careful loading and unloading. Plus they were very pleasant and accommodating.

After seeing they moved to Leominster it reminded me of the awful experience we had with our move in 2017. They under estimated the job and they had to come back the next day to finish moving from one house to another, they also under bid the job and it cost us twice as much as the original contract. This is after numerous conversations and emails with Dave confirming everything they had on the contract and expressing our concern about the size of the truck prior to the move. The manager onsite told me we could either pay the rest or move it ourselves! Multiple pieces of my grandmothers antique furniture were broken and things were missing, which of course you don't realize right away because moving is so chaotic. One of their employees accused me of lying about a broken mirror, he told me the filigree was missing before they moved it because there was no way they broke it, he literally called me a liar! Before they left on the second day I found parts of the mirror on the back stairs where it had apparently fallen out of the moving blanket when they took it upstairs. I would never recommend them to anyone, they are very unprofessional and not to be trusted! read more
