I walked away from both of those transactions with a bad taste in my mouth about RE agents and a general overall feeling of sleaziness about the whole industry. In my most recent home purchase Sharon Seabury changed my perception of the RE industry completely. Well at least the small part of it that she occupies. The woman was a true professional and couldn't have worked harder on my purchase. Her previous professional experience both in the business & technology sectors is another great example of what makes her standout from the RE agent crowd. She just doesn't look at the transaction as solely an RE transaction, she looks at it from every angle. My purchase was a bit of an unusual situation and Sharon was "on" night & day seven days a week. She was extremely responsive to my queries and was on top of the mortgage company and the sellers agent from day one to insure everything was being done properly and on time. After selling my last house I swore I would never use an RE agent to sell a house again and would use a sold by owner service. Well if I go to sell my current home and Sharon Seabury is still in the RE business I will give her my house to sell.

Ed in particular was extremely knowledgeable about what to look for in a home, what to avoid, and really about every nuance and detail that could come up during the whole process. Makala was very responsive and punctual, and quickly found answers to whatever questions we had. We will definitely be using their services the next time decide to move. That may be in quite a while because we are very happy with our new home in Wakefield.

I felt lucky to find my apartment listing on Craig's List. It was everything I needed, in my price…read morerange, in the vicinity I wanted to live in. But it was listed by Metro in the no-fee section, which sent up red flags. Every time I'd called an agent about a no-fee apartment, I learned the listing was nothing but a teaser for them to get me in the office and show me all the other places they had, for a fee. When Metro returned my call, it started out very much like the rest: The listing may have been gone already, but many other properties were available. I was about to hang up when Steve Gould, the rental agent, offered to show me the no-fee apartment anyway. So, I met him, he seemed human -- more concerned about the frigid winds that day than making a deal (seemingly) -- he answered all of my questions and offered to negotiate a lower rental price without me asking. I wasn't sure how sincere he was being, but turned out the owner was so interested in getting the place filled that he was willing to drop the rent, which meant Gould would also get a lower finder's fee (paid by the owner). I couldn't have been happier, and obviously did end up getting the place. Before I moved in, Gould also helped me through some maintenance and lock issues since the owner is out of state. If you're looking for a place in metro west, don't hesitate to try Metro. They have at least one genuinely good rental agent who does a lot more work than other agents I've had to work with in the past.

They were careless and arrogant and could not answer a simple question about a form they asked me to fill out. I spoke to the owner, Brenda, because I had a complaint about one of the agents, John, and she yelled at me in her scratched up smoker's voice that I was unappreciative of the work they are doing for me for 'free' even though I would have to pay a fee. Anyways, do not sign anything that comes from Metro Properties. You will regret it for the next twelve months.

Shane is an absolute Godsend…read more I came on my building's board of trustees to an absolute mess in 2018. We had a property management firm with a name that rhymes with "Parvest" that frankly did nothing but take condo fees - they didn't actually manage anything. We had bad relationships with our vendors, nothing ever got fixed, and everyone in the building was at best confused, at worst outright suspicious about the property management firm and the Board. I knew right away I'd found the right manager when I met Shane in late 2020. He's straight to the point, direct, and fast to respond (first time I called him was over Thanksgiving weekend - he called me back within 30 seconds). When he started in March 2021, he went to work right away. First thing he learned: our building was insolvent due to Parvest's poor management. In plain English, this means we would have been uninsurable and the banks issuing everyone's mortgages would have demanded repayment in full. NOT GOOD. But Shane saved our asses, creating a plan to raise the necessary money - and preparing for what could have been a difficult meeting, which he handled like a champ. He was able to calmly, plainly communicate why condo fees would have to increase. As a board member, I feel he presented this bad news in a mature, understandable way. Additionally, Shane forwent payment for months, until we had enough funds. The man went above and beyond. In my time on the board, I saw Shane handle everything from contractors with dishonest contracts to people with difficult personalities, all with unflappable grace. He can easily dissect condo docs and contracts and has an impeccable grasp on condo law - and can smell a bullshitter a mile away. Random fact: Shane worked on Wall Street before going into property management, and it shows. A year later, we're solvent, we have a reserve, we're paying our bills. We're amending our condo docs to modernize them (they hadn't been updated since 1986) and can start taking on projects and hiring better services. There's still a lot of work to be done, but things are going in the right direction. All in all, I have nothing but good to say about this business. Shane saved our association (and each of our investments) from ruin multiple times over. I'd recommend him to anyone, especially if you're sick of bad management companies that do nothing (doubly so if they rhyme with "Parvest"). 10/10, would hire Dynamic again!

They state that if you ask for inspections on your new build, which they recommend you do, they will provide them and review them with you. But they will not, in fact they will lie to you about the inspections. If you select a finish or material that they layer cannot provide they will substitute whatever they want without asking you, the buyer. Their co tract states they cannot do that, but they will. Their contract states that the purchaser is protected, if Britton fails to comply with the contract they will refund all monies. But when the purchaser calls in them for failure to perform, they will lie and tell you they do not refund money in any circumstance. Especially do not buy in Star Trail in Prosper.
