Kfir is the genuine deal! I recently bought a newer BMW that came with only 1 key. A second key would run $500+ from the dealership. Nope. Buying a key online is kind of risky. Even if you match all the FCC ID's and part #'s, you still may not get what you ordered! (I've returned 2 keys because eBay sent the wrong ones!) Then finding an auto locksmith with the right knowledge, tools/equipment to program and cut your key was more difficult than I expected. I live in Santa Cruz County. I whole-heartedly recommend Real Time Locksmith. I have a 2014 Honda CR-V and needed a spare key. This is a physical key for ignition with a fob on top to lock/unlock. I called Capitol and Stevens Creek Honda dealerships and was quoted $125 (Capitol)/$130 (SC) for the key and $175 (Capitol) /$225 (SC) to cut and program the key, Kfir at RealTime quoted $185 for the key, cutting and programming - so essentially half the total dealership cost. I was in and out of his shop in less than 45 min and the spare key works perfectly. It's physically identical to the original Honda key, minus the Honda logo on the back of the fob. BTW, Kfir noticed that the original key, even though it worked fine for the ignition, when inserted into the door lock, didn't lock/unlock. Apparently, this is common and that manufacturer's always don't check this! I never noticed because I always used the fob buttons, but Kfir fixed. Lastly, one more plus for Kfir/Real Time is that the mobile service is backed up by a storefront, so he can stock common parts/keys. read more

I needed to get an extra key fob (and have it programmed) for a 2016 Rav4. Initially, I called just for information about getting a key fob programmed and had planned to purchase the extra fob from Amazon (which was far less expensive that going through the dealer). I was quoted a price for programming only and also a price for the key fob - as he had them in stock. I decided to go with Real Time Locksmith for both the fob + the programming: The cost would have been about the same, I would not have to wait for an amazon order to arrive, and I knew the shop was just a couple minutes away from my home.
