I was scammed by Eli.He destroyed my lock instead of simply unlocking the deadbolt.His first words were,I Don't have equipment to let you in, I have to completely replace your lock, then sell me keys. Came to Eli months ago to program a new car key. He was having trouble but was finally able to program an after market key. I saw him again a month ago to program a second key, this time an original key I bought. He asked me to come to him and gave me an address that ended up being his house. What would usually take 15-30 minutes ended up turning into 2 hours because he wasn't able to program the new key. Finally I told him I had to leave and would come back. I could not leave though because my original key was no longer working and my car wouldn't turn on. He tried reprogramming it and was having trouble which was weird because they key had been working perfectly fine before I got there. A man in sunglasses showed up, didn't introduce himself, and just started hanging out while sipping out of a can. It was getting late and I was getting frustrated my 2020 car, that should have no issues, wasn't turning on. With just two men, one of them being a complete stranger, on a street with barely any people or cars passing by and it was getting late. I'm sure many people, especially women, can understand how scary/frustrating this situation could be. He said he needed to restart my engines battery and I said no because I felt that was out of the ordinary, since he's not a mechanic and that's not what I came for. I told him I had just gotten a new battery that same day. The whole situation was overwhelming and making me feel scared. Eli was getting very aggressive, raising his voice at me, and cursed at me at one point. His friend would laugh at this. Finally I let him because he said it was the only way to make it work. Eventually he was able to program the key BUT now it doesn't work all the time. It will only turn on sometimes and I have to hold the fob to the start button multiples times just for my car to turn on. He wanted me to stay longer to fix it but I was so anxious I just needed to leave. I don't know what Eli did to my car but now I'm going to have to pay $1000 minimum at Honda because they are unable to program a new car key so they have to do a full diagnostics on my car to see what the problem is. I just had to pay $180 for their service even though they couldn't program any keys. My car key doesn't work all the time, if someone opens a passenger door my car starts beeping saying there's no car key in the car even though there is, and certain features in my car, such as the cruise control, no longer work!!! Eli refuses to do anything since I didn't want to stay past 2 hours especially after everything that had happened. Please, please don't come here. I'm sure there are more friendly and professional locksmith that can do what they do. Also their key fobs are after market if you care about that and if you pay attention to their reviews, a lot of the "accounts" have barely any reviews. This is usually a sign of a company buying their reviews. This will be first review, but unfortunately my experience was very real. read more

How the heck this company has near 5 star rating is beyond my imagination. I think these are fake paid reviews. They charged me $258 to unlock a regular 2004 Toyota Camry. The guy used the common technique where they unlock the drive side door by inserting a rod through the space between door and car. The whole process took 5min (or less), woke up the whole neighborhood as the alarm went off, and he didn't even fix the door. it is still sticking outside (check the photo). I had to pay using zelle without any receipt present which was very usual and suspicious. Out of fear of my wife and my safety, we didn't risk complaining about that and the insanely high service fee for a 5min job (I understand very difficult job can be expensive with expensive tools required but this is not that). I had to call/email 3-4 times more to get a receipt from them. I won't recommend this service to anyone I know and we should always ask for the price upfront I guess. read more

I flew in this morning and arrived back home only to find out the key in the lock box was missing. In an attempt to find a solution to the problem, I contacted EZ Locksmith SJ. Fortunately for me, a locksmith was available and he arrived roughly 20-25 minutes after my initial phone call. While it was extremely expensive to re-key and replace 5 door locks ($500/+ total), Joey, the locksmith, was rather friendly and professional. He did his job well and was thorough: made sure that the screws were on right and the lock would lock and unlock in a smooth fashion. Overall, not cheap but this is CA and everything here is overpriced and $$$. However, I do recommend Joey's service and work. A good guy. read more

Found these guys here on yelp gave them a call and they said they had a shop, but we're currently out in a call. Said they could meet me back at their shop in 45min.
