She literally ignored me while I spoke to her and said, "I am not listening to youuuuuu." I brought my child here so that she could have some fun with a friend. My child has been on stage in recitals at church, so I knew she was ready. The day that I brought her in for a trial to see if the class was age-appropriate I was pressured to decide on site if my child wanted to participate in a recital in May (which cost $100 per costume and $150 in recital "fees". I said yes only because they assured me they'd worked with kids before. They couldn't even keep her in the room. They have a range from 2.5 years to almost 6 in the same room, having them stand in one spot for an hour with different instructors each week would sit and just give orders to the kids. In any case, the owner treated me so poorly, berated and ignored me as I tried to open a line of commutation with her. The receptionist is someone who is approachable, but any level of professional or even human treatment it stops there. They offer a summer camp, which is laughable. Who would trust their children with you? Hey T and L, no matter how many times you flag or try to remove my review as you have the others, I will save it, and repost it. This is a matter of principle and you shouldn't get away with treating people this way nor should you have access to children if you don't know to to speak to people.

There are some wholesome instructors, but no matter how good they are, if the favoritism continues it is clear the studio will not grow into what it could become. Word will travel about this behavior as the dance community is small in the area. I hope they get their stuff together because the potential is there.

It was not a grand performance but a family performance in the studio itself with costumes supplied by the studio. The teacher was amazing and I could see that my granddaughter absolutely worships her. She had gone to a different school before which was not personal and terribly commercial. I can see that this teacher really cares about the children and their dance performance which is reflected in the skills that my Eowyn has learned. The dance performance didn't cost any money for admission or for costumes and they didn't try to sell anything to us afterwards. It was simply a Christmas gift to the families and the students and it was so greatly appreciated. So far, we've been very happy with Prima Dance! The owner even personally called me after my daughter's first day to recommend a different class setting that better suited her age group. I thought that was such a personal touch and deeply appreciated it. The studio itself is in a quiet location with plenty of parking, which makes coming and going easy. The only adjustment for us has been not being able to watch through windows during class, but overall I'm really excited to continue with Prima and get more involved in my daughter's dance journey.
