Walked in with a friend that was getting a tattoo. I asked if they had time to do a tattoo and the owner Ron was so nice and did my tattoo. I told him it was my first and he explained everything to me. I told him what I was looking to get and he went and had it made very quickly. We changed a couple little things and he did the tattoo. He has a very light hand and was quick. I will go back. The female that is there is a little quiet but she knows her stuff and is in the zone while she is doing her work. Didn't talk but is great with details and does amazing work. You want someone that is focused on there craft and pays attention to what you want and ask for. Terrible, the guy with glasses was questioning, making fun of, and relating drugs to my girlfriends tattoo idea (a 8 ball with a cherry stem). Very unprofessional and disrespectful. She continued to give us attitude the whole time when we asked questions. They changed the price because we were a little late , they change it from 60 to 80$ . Before you are going to argue with somebody in regards to a tattoo policy it'd be beneficial to ensure that you have read and fully understand the most recent policy. Especially if you're going to have the audacity to pull out an outdated order and demand that another employee read it to a customer. Never in my past 15 tattoo experiences have I felt so disrespected. I am glad that I walked out before receiving a tattoo here and you can rest assured that I will pass my experience here along to others who are looking to get any tattoo work done. For reference: MCBul 1020 (2 Jun 2016) Page IV, section (g), subsection 2 (b): Tattoos on a lower arm are limited to one of the following: A single tattoo which can be covered by the individual Marine's hand. A buddy recommended this shop to me so I came in as a walk-in with a group of friends. I was first thrown off by how rude the owner actually was. My buddy had some basic questions that were quickly shot down with, "I've been tattooing for over 20 years, let me do my job". Mind you this was his first tattoo.. overall the shop seemed pretty tense but all the tattoos before mine seemed to come out pretty nice! So I just ignored the vibe and decided on a simple line style tattoo. Now that I look back, my artist didn't really take the time to study the picture of understand it. He kept placing the stencil super crooked. I had to explain the picture to him a few times until he finally got it. As you can see from the pictures, what I asked for and what I got. I was SO disappointed. The tattoo isn't terrible, but it is not what I asked for and honestly super sloppy. Looks like a 40 dollar tattoo that I got done in someone's house that has never actually tattooed before. I guess tracing over a stencil is pretty difficult huh. As you can see, the lines were filled in, the earrings were removed, the eyes are just black circles it looks like and the work is just overall sloppy as hell. He ever managed to fuck up the simple tear! The worst decision I've ever made was choosing this shop because now I have to deal with having this cheap looking mess in the middle of my back for the rest of my life. Plus the lines are so thick and bold that a cover up tattoo is almost impossible.. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It's not worth the risk !! read more

Ron has been tattooing me for close to 20 years, and every tattoo still looks as perfect as the day it was created. When my son turned 18, I took him to Ron at Realistic for his first tattoo. It was a decently sized rib cage piece, and quite painful. Ron talked him through the first few minutes until he was calm enough to relax and get through that tattoo. My son was back at Realistic within a couple of months getting more tattoos from Ron. Realistic Tattoo is a family spot, where we will continue go to get our unique tattoo art. read more
