I had to even ask what diagnostics he did when he went to charge me for this. His codes were the exact same by the way. Just wants to start changing things without a deep dive - so you'll end up changing a bunch of items with them. Customer service was obviously terrible too. Don't go here

They seem like decent guys to joke around with (trying to be fair here). But what I experienced was anything but professional. It would take pages to document this past weeks experiences with ABC. It feels like it's been much longer than that. They wasted way a large amount of my time and money as a result of incompetence. Whether it was completely forgetting about my tow, or charging me for new parts that he GAVE back to me so that I could INSTALL THEM MYSELF because he didn't HAVE TIME, or telling me he'd be there at 4:30pm to check me out but he then leaves to go home early for the day, or telling me he didn't get around to the oil change I asked for because he didn't have time! (which is odd because he went home early!!!) OR MAYBE it was just the fact that the whole reason for the tow was because the fuel pump was going, and he didn't touch anything besides the brakes! Throughout this entire process, I made an in-person appointment, 2 weeks out. I then went back in 2 days prior to the tow to confirm (shouldn't even be necessary on my part). When i finally got ahold of them over an hour after my scheduled pick up time, they begrudgingly came to pick me up, and then proceeded to tell me that they aren't going to even work on it for a few days because they have certain customers that are a priority. WHY DID I WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT THEN??? None of it makes sense. Honestly, they truly seem like decent individuals. BUT this was the most unprofessional spot I've been to since moving to Maine. 2/10

I really appreciated the quick turnaround time, and the honest opinion on what was going on with my car. These guys really know their stuff and it was awesome being able to bounce ideas and troubleshooting off them. I don't live in the area, but would 100% recommend to all with car troubles.

My partner and I had a flat tire when we pulled into Portland for vacation. We had a hard time…read moregetting an appointment within 4 hours at other places, so we walked to a coffee shop to camp out and saw this place across the street. They were able to fit us in within the hour and gave us recommendations on what to do until then. Turns out there was nothing visibly wrong with the tire, no holes or anything, so they couldn't do anything on the spot. They didn't charge for the inspection and filling up the tire. We very much appreciated their help and are glad to know we can wait until we get back to deal with the tire instead of worry all weekend. We definitely recommend and would come back if we have a problem (hopefully we don't). Very friendly, great service.

I've been going to these guys for years and, honestly, I'll never go anywhere else for my car…read moreissues. I get my annual inspection here, I get my new tires here, but most importantly: I get things fixed here when other mechanics have messed something up on my car. Which has happened three times in the past two years! The most recent example: an auto body shop didn't put all the lugnuts back on my tire, and they didn't tighten the lugnuts they did put on after working my vehicle. I drove around, unaware of this, for weeks. When I went to get my inspection sticker, I recreated the strange noises coming from my tire (SIDE NOTE: they never laugh at me when I do this; I've seen other customers do it to them too ["thump, thump, thump" or "SCREEEEE"] and they take it very seriously). When they looked, they were appalled. They tightened lugnuts, added lugnuts, and checked my alignment for free because of how dangerous a situation it could have been (like... I was miles away from my tire falling off my car). When they told me (multiple times) my car was safe, I believed them. I always believe them. They have never led me astray. They're reliable, competent, considerate, friendly, patient, and have great senses of humor. One time I had to have SO MUCH work done on my car, they didn't want to say how much it would cost out loud so they wrote it on a paper and slid it over to me like we were in a movie. I've been offered ice cream, coffee, rides if I needed to be somewhere. But most importantly? I've been offered the best of humanity. (Nearly every single time I'm here, an elderly person stops in to ask if they could put air in their tires. And they do it immediately. For free.) Thanks for making me (and so many others) feel seen and heard, folks! Your customer service is unlike any other.
