In fact they are happy relying on word of mouth business entirely and do not advertise. This operation is a unicorn these days; a classic mechanic. No cheesy advertisements, no over-decorated shuttle service, no BS. They will not try to upsell you or claim expensive repairs for simple problems. They simply want to make you a lifelong customer with good service. I recently noticed a nail in my tire on a Sunday. Everything was closed except for a chain mechanic. They claimed the tire was not patchable and I needed a new tire. 30 seconds of googling refuted that, and pointed me in the direction of a wire patch. The next day Kimball's had me patched up and on the road in 10 minutes and for 10$, with an hour of notice.

Randy got me in within 48 hours, identified and fixed the issue within just a few hours. Unfortunately, the light came back on (no fault of SMC) the following day. I brought it back in and again, had a quick turnaround on getting it resolved. Randy called me off-hours to let me know it was all set, resolving all issues prior to me leaving Scarborough.
