Chicken liver mousse is a must!!!
    Liz W.

Lovely wine bar with a modern twist. It's dimly lit and still has a classy old timey feel to it. We shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc: smooth crisp and very refreshing. We weren't that hungry but ordered the 3 item charcuterie board with chicken liver mousse, and two cheeses. The liver was spectacular: covered in a thin layer of coagulated fat, it's creamy and flavorful. The liver had an interesting umami flavor that reminded me of chicken adobo - garlicky, shoyu, and slightly tangy. Very very good. The bartender was also nice - polite and informative. I would definitely come back.

Really really nice wines is an awesome addition to the neighborhood on Magazine Street. This was my first time experiencing this beautiful wine shop and bar and was pleasantly surprised. When I walked in, they had all the specialty wine menu on the board with a huge variety from various countries. It was sorted by type of wine and also region. I went straight for the bubbles and it was a great option. We also ordered the custom charcuterie board from the menu as well as the select olives. Yummy! Wow how awesome was this, they also make some of their cheese and meats in the house which I was so impressed with. Very cool vibe. I would definitely recommend checking it out . The service was great, and the bartender definitely provided personalized service and assisted with her favorite selections/recommendations from the menu. Those of you from New Orleans, this was the old Martin wine cellar location on magazine Street.

Great wine and even nicer people. I recommend stopping by to get out of the heat and enjoy some great snacks and wine by the glass. Wonderful atmosphere and I felt comfortable alone, at the bar. I will definitely return.

A true hidden gem! The service was exceptional, with polite and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. The ambiance was cool and dark lit, creating a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere. The highlight of my experience was the fantastic pairings of food and cheese, which complemented the extensive wine selection perfectly. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply looking for a relaxing evening, "Really Really Nice Wines" is a must-visit hole in the wall destination for its welcoming service, cozy but cute ambiance, and charming space.

Great service. Lovely wines. The menu provides for a broad selection of very tasty bites. And some great people watching to-boot.

We picked up a bottle of rosé and picked up some complimentary plastic cups for them. The prices are reasonable and the selection is aplenty. This didn't happen for us - but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that it existed. I'll have to take a closer look when I'm back. Reasonable selection, all things considered. It earns that bonus star by having several choices of regional beers sold by the can and chilled for $2.50. Even if you couldn't pour it into a cup and walk around the quarter with your beer, that's still a pretty good deal. Also, I was delighted they sold Herbsaint in small 200ml bottles. I'll confess to bringing my bottle back to the hotel, putting some in a plastic cup with an appropriate volume of water, and using that as my walking around town drink. Infinitely better (and more authentically NOLA) than the frozen slop that gets you sloppy. Anyhow, I'm sure to return to pick up some beverages whenever I'm back in town. It's a recommended stop for sure. Good stuff. Convenient location. Zero pretense.

I'm not sure about parking as I walked to the brewery on my recent visit. This brewery has a great feel that hearkens back to a cozy neighborhood pub - eclectic seating divided between a couple of rooms with a small bar and a simple setup including around 9-10 taps. I felt right at home. Flights included four 5 ounce pours for $19. Food is mostly supplied by Shift Kitchen but you're basically invited to bring in anything you want. I tried the following: * 90s Women's Power Ballads - IPA - New England / Hazy 6.6% ABV - Pretty decent hazy NEIPA, Guiyang body with notes of citrus, finishes hoppy and a touch floral. 4/5 * Tenant - Bitter/Best 4.1% ABV - Very nice sweet malty bitter, notes of toasted bread, slightly toasted peanut, finishes appropriately dry and somewhat mildly bitter. 4/5 * Mr. Words Is A Monster - Pilsner/Other 5.5% - Interesting XPA, crisp body, hint of orange peel finishing hoppy, hint of pine and black pepper. 4/5 * I Am A Donut - Sour - Berliner Weisse 4.2% - Light bodied sour, fruity body with notes of sweet mango. 4/5 * Notice Me Senpai - Porter - Imperial / Double 8.1% - Tasty porter with notes of dark chocolate, English toffee and roasty coffee, almost creamy body finishing dry. 4/5 In general all the beer I indulged in were good, I think this is probably the best brewery I tried in my recent trip to New Orleans. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions. I could tell this was a local spot - I engage in conversation with a few of the patrons and they mostly lived nearby. This is a top-notch hangout with a great local vibe.

This brewery is right on Decatur with a couple of tables in front good for watching the traffic coming through. There's also a patio in the back with plenty more seating options. I sat inside where there was plenty of space. There were a good selection of beers on the menu. And the options differed from other breweries with units of Liters. I, of course, had to have an IPA and I got in as a 0.5L (closest to a pint). The flavor was good with a good hoppy taste to it. This is a great place to chill with friends and enjoy some nice beers.
