Just discovered Port Orleans Brewing on Tchoupitoulas, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Parking is limited to street parking, but we managed to find a spot just a block away. As you walk in, there's a charming front porch seating area that opens into the interior, which features a full bar and plenty of seating--plus a cozy lounge area with a couch. Ordering at the bar was quick and easy, and our food arrived at the table in about ten minutes. We tried the Carnitas Nachos and the Hawaiian Chicken Quesadillas. The nachos were decent, but the quesadilla was the real standout. Who knew chipotle chicken, pineapple, and jack cheese would make such an incredible combination? The atmosphere was relaxed, and I especially loved the front porch seating at night when everything was lit up. I highly recommend this spot for date nights or group meetups.

Brewery has large indoor and outdoor space. Great for large groups. Order drinks and food at bar and food will be brought out to you. Casual dining experience. Restaurant is always open and they sometimes have a crawfish popup. Beer, seltzers, thc drinks available. Check social media for most recent updates. Get there early for crawfish. It's good and they always sell out.

Port Orleans was the first brewery I visited when I moved to New Orleans. They were open during Covid so it was a great escape from being at home and away from people. They have a wonderful array of beers, not so many IPAs but there's always at least one option. They also have Avo Taco which offers some of the best tacos in New Orleans. My staples when I come here is Queso and Elote Corn. Both have five stars from me! The Queso is super smooth and hot, with fresh chips to eat it with. The Elote Corn has the perfect amount of seasoning to really give it flavor! I have also enjoyed Taco Tuesdays with their 3/$12 taco special. Port Orleans also hosts a lot of events throughout the year which makes your visit that much more fun. Drinks: Lots of beer options! Service: You order your drinks at the counter and the food via a QR code at the table. Parking: Street Parking Outdoor Seating: They have a huge outdoor space with lots of tables.

I love checking out breweries wherever I visit. This one had plenty of space with indoor, patio, and outdoor with games to play with the family. They had a bounce house, corn hole, etc. there was plenty of seating as well. There were multiple types of beer to try (as expected). I enjoyed an IPA and my boyfriend got a sour mango beer. It's not my type of beer but it was definitely different and I encourage everyone to try it.

This place is such a vibe! I got the blueberry lemonade hard seltzer and this Hawaiian pineapple chicken quesadilla and both were so tasty!! The atmosphere was perfect, you get to choose if you want to hangout with your crew inside or outside. The outside area is amazing and super cool. They have a painted wall that is super cute for pictures!

YALL. NEED. TO. COME. HERE. I LOVE craft beer and this place hits on all notes. The food is phenomenal, the staff is amazing and the beers are all clean, delicious and taste like what they're advertised as. So good that we bought a case to go home. Check out Port Orleans when you can. And come hungry. Avo Taco is the kitchen and they serve a variety of delicious foods that will definitely fill you up!

Pulled pork guacamole and crispy onions. Shrimp tacos. Delicious.

This is one of my favorite breweries on the city. Nice set up with plenty of tvs to watch games, food onsite, lots of outdoor seating covered in front and open out back. Also nice inside area. They have fun with their beers and have some really nice options. I wish it was closer to where I lived but every time I'm over here I grab a beer or take sum TA GEAUX. staff is also very welcoming and nice.

We were waking around and thought we'd try this. Looked like it had a nice outside area but we stayed in. Big beer selection!!! Didn't they any food. Inside and bathrooms were super clean though. Cute place!

Beers and bros, came for trivia night and to try a new brew. The staff is always friendly even when they are swamped. Love this place.

I have probably been a dozen or more times, and they are always changing things up. New IPA's, Pilsners, stouts, and sours about every time I go. This last time I went they had a habanero-pickle sour, but I was too big of a chicken to try it. Their Soft Focus DIPA was phenomenal, however. The inside is small, but the courtyard is a really cool place to sit even on a July afternoon as it is shaded with plants and umbrellas. They have different food vendors all the time and crawfish every spring. On our last visit, we had a really good Detroit style pizza. I will keep going because they are always trying to brew new beers and because it's my girlfriend's favorite brewery in Nola. If they still have the habanero pickle sour, I may even try it.

Unlike most breweries, I don't think Courtyard has a signature beer, there are no standards Jucifer or Paradise Park. They just make new stuff all the time, then run out of it, and brew something else. I think I have seen Sonic Youth in 1983 there more than once so maybe that's the closest thing. Regardless I am saying this as a good thing because every time I go, there is something knew. Courtyard is like the ultimate dive bar of breweries. There is a pop-up style kitchen that has held a variety of eateries over the years that used to include Burger Nerds and now has a taco place. There is mismatch furniture throughout the indoors and front courtyard. Most of the seating looks like they robbed a daycare.
