If you use three hours and then enter into the fourth hour by 10 minutes, you do not pay 3+1/6 hours, you pay 4 hours. They tell you this before you start, and you sign off on the agreement before they start, and you denote on the contract the start time. However, the hourly rate they charge is REASONABLE, JUST LIKE THE NAME SUGGESTS. THEY TYPE IN ALL CAPS! ALL CAPS IN THE TEXT MESSAGES! BUT I DON'T THINK THEY ARE YELLING AT ME, IT MUST JUST BE THEIR REASONABLE STYLE, SO IT IS OK Y'ALL! Tipping the workers is important. I'm not sure they are paid enough with respect to the heat. Pay in cash too, else they will impose a fee for using a card. The business owners probably like this too ;-{|} ya know, tax reasons. They did a good job wrapping up my important stuff. I totally abused this service by loading boxes obnoxiously, with uneven weight distribution, far too heavy and too large of a box, and I had minimal damage to the cartons and no damage to any items. There was some gripes from their leader about the distance from the truck to the first floor door of the apartment, but this should not have been a surprise because we were asked about this distance before making the agreement. They wouldn't move my TV or monitors that were not in boxes, and they would not move boxes which were not tendered with sealed flaps. I did not know about the issue with not moving TV's prior to the move date. They were on time and called 15 minutes prior to arrival. I would use them again. read more

Finding a good mover is always a great challenge. When I called Reasonable Moving Services not only did they provide the best quote, but also sent three guys who were careful, considerate and kind. These guys, Antonio, Mike, and Henry, worked without complaint in the thick of August heat in Texas to move my furniture from one house to the next. If that was not hard enough, they also moved items to a storage unit the same day. All furniture was padded for careful transport, then unwrapped and placed in the designated area. Some pieces of furniture did not fit the allocated space and Antonio recommended an alternate pattern. When items were difficult to fit through the door, they figured out a way to get it in without any damage. These movers actually listened to my instructions. Items for storage and items for moving were mixed together and all three men were vigilant about keeping them separate. I appreciated that these movers were professional and respectful in the way they conducted themselves. Arrived late outside of their arrival window, damaged a bedframe and refused to accept liability for it (I found the piece of wood they broke off in a cabinet in my old garage). They claimed it was damaged when I had disassembled it myself in my room, but that was a flat out lie- especially when I found the damaged piece in the garage cabinet. I overheard them talking about damaging it, but none of them were honest about it. Stood around idly to add more time to the job they were being paid for by the hour. The worst thing that happened was they left the sink partially on in the upstairs bathroom after using it, which overflowed and flooded it, resulting in the ceiling in the room below it needing to be replaced. This company refused to admit fault for anything and wont help cover any damages resulting for their movers. Also, the movers were very pushy with asking about being tipped and insisted I did not tell their office about them receiving one. The entire process seemed sketchy. read more

Avoid working with these people at all cost. Very dishonest. They didn't disclose their payment terms in their confirmation email or over the phone. You find out about it when the movers pulls up. I'm gonna type in all caps cause that's how professional the manager is that he screams at you the whole time he's texting! They dont accept zelle, they only accept cash and credit card. if you pay by credit card they charge $30 because they dont want to assume the financial responsibility of doing business like everyone else does! Also more convenient to avoid taxes! Cause if they're dishonest with you why would they be honest with Uncle Sam? Heres the kicker, they dont prorate time like the other companies so if you go one minute into the next hour they charge you the hourly rate but of course the manager wont let you know that ahead of time!! I had a great experience with Reasonable Moving services. I was doing a within DFW move. The scheduling was easy, they gave me a window of 9-11 and showed up about 10:30. The owner sent an extra guy but only charged me for 3 so we moved our 2/2 and patio in less than 3 hours. I did pay for a 4 hour minimum but the owner checked with me first to make sure the extra guy was worth it to me (I said yes!). I didn't have issues with damage that I've sebut I moved most of my breakables myself since it was in town and I typically have low expectations with movers. It was pouring rain and these guys did their best to try to protect all my belongings. The movers were friendly and polite. Overall the experience was good and the price was SIGNIFICANTLY better than any other company I spoke with, it was less than $500 to move, including an $80 tip for the workers. read more

I had a very logistically difficult move today (on top of 107 degree weather!) but Steve, Gerald and Keith got everything done efficiently and professionally. I have had a bad moving experience in the past, but their demeanor really helped put my mind at ease. They assured me they would take care of me and I definitely felt like I was in good hands. Moving (and life lol) can be super stressful. So I really appreciated their ability to maintain a good attitude, despite these crazy Texas temps and the difficult logistics of my move.
