My wife and I have been lucky enough to work with Becca for the last few months for both our engagement photos and more recently our wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish. Honestly, I took a leap of faith when I hired Rebecca to take our engagement photos, but I couldn't be happier! We were only in Seattle a couple days and the photographer we initially hired could not make it at the last minute. We were disappointed, but she had recommended Rebecca as a replacement. Not only was Rebecca able to shoot us on a few hours notice, she was extremely flexible and accommodating (she drove through the horrible rush-hour traffic so I could get my shots in both Issaquah and Seattle). Fiance and I aren't very comfortable in front of the camera, put Rebecca immediately but us at ease. She's friendly, funny, and easy to work with. She has a great eye and helped set-up some great shots without making us look too posed or cheesy. She even went out of her way to lay on the ground and run into traffic in order to get a great shot. My wife and I found Rebecca online as we are California residents and we're traveling to Seattle for our anniversary. Rebecca was our wedding photographer, at a unique outdoor location on Bainbridge Island, and she was AMAZING. From the moment I met her at the Seattle wedding show, it was clear that she was the photographer for my husband and I. We were based in Baltimore, MD during the planning process, and she was able to schedule an initial Skype call with us to talk through things, and was super easy to communicate with despite the distance. My wife and I found Becca by chance, really, when we were conducting an early internet search for a wedding photographer. We were drawn in by the down-to-earth tone of her website and the stunning photographs showcased. When we met Becca for the first time, we had a very comfortable conversation about who we are as a couple and what our goals were for our wedding (at the time, we didn't know much more than that we wanted great photos!). Becca discussed her approach, her training, and the different services she offers. We COULD NOT have picked a better photographer than Becca. Hiring the perfect photographer was one of the most important things on my list when planning our January 2017 wedding. We met with several photographers, but in our initial meeting with Becca not only did we click (I think we chatted for at least an hour) - she was SO organized and full of good ideas. By the time I left, she had pretty much planned out my whole day-of timeline, helped me understand exactly what I needed in a photographer in terms of hours on site, etc. and given me several great suggestions for photo locations in and around our venue. For a Type A person like myself, this totally won me over - and I didn't feel like I got this level of organization and professionalism from any other photographer I'd talked to prior to our meeting, and the people I met with after our meeting didn't even come close to comparing. So, choosing Becca was an easy decision. When we booked with her, I shared with Becca that my fiancé was extremely photo shy and hated being the center of attention, so I was worried that photos would be a super painful experience for him. Becca suggested an engagement photoshoot so that when the day-of came, he'd know what to expect and be more comfortable in front of the camera. Best advice ever. While he was pretty uncomfortable during our engagement shoot, you wouldn't know it from the images Becca was able to capture. And, when our wedding day rolled around, he was noticeably more relaxed and was able to have more fun with the photos. We had so much fun with Becca on the day of - she made sure we looked great, stayed relaxed and laughed a lot. She was extremely accommodating with our families (dad in a wheelchair and a fussy 6-month-old niece presented some fun challenges for her) and captured even the smallest details of our day, which we wouldn't have otherwise seen in the hustle of it all. In our final planning meeting with Becca, she even took the time to build a list of group pictures we wanted at the wedding (i.e., friends from college, extended families, etc.) and made sure to grab us throughout the night so we didn't forget to get these shots. Our photos turned out AMAZING and everyone raved about what a good job she did. We've had the images for a few days now, and I can't stop looking at them! I would highly recommend Becca for anyone who's looking for a true pro - a creative, professional, fun, artistic, willing-to-lay-flat-on-the-ground-on-a-cold-January-day-to-get-the-shot photographer. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! I worked with her before to take some boudoir shots for my man and we loved that experience so much, there was no question who we wanted for our wedding. Rebecca really took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals to make personalized photos of our special day. We enjoyed our time with her for our engagement photos and visiting before the wedding. She knew just what to ask and suggest; we've never done this before! More than once throughout the day, Rebecca would come grab us and make sure we got the photos we had asked for when we were in no state of mind to think of anything other than what was right in front of us.
