First, I was late to my facial apt which the owner was so understanding about, and she handled it with kind humor and professionalism. It was me inconveniencing her for being late, but she left it at the door. Her specialty is extractions and annihilating blemishes effectively- something that isn't easy to do on your own. I love how efficient and thorough she is with each step. I've enjoyed two facials by Elisabeth and they were very nice, unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy my third. The past few months have been rough and I needed to do something for myself. I have young kids and it's not easy to find the time. I booked my appt online well in advance and looked forward to my visit with increasing anticipation every day. Finally, it was the day for my facial and I couldn't wait to relax and be pampered. Unfortunately, nothing went as planned - I was left waiting for 45 minutes only to be turned away. I arrived early, per instructions on her site, and waited while she went over with her previous client by 30 minutes. When Elisabeth finally ended her appt, you could see that she wasn't expecting me. She checked her schedule and then blamed me for booking a facial for children under 12 - yet her online booking tool gives no indication that the facial I selected wasn't intended for adults. I tried to explain this to her and she shook her head, saying that it did and then insinuated that I was trying get a cheaper facial. Ultimately, it was the end of the day and she needed to get home, I should've known that they don't stay past 7pm - even though her nail tech was still there and never said a word to me that there might be an issue as I sat there waiting for 45 minutes. I posted pictures of the online appt tool and as you can see, the Angel Facial does not indicate that it's for children under 12. Actually, it states that extractions and glycolic acid are included...really, glycolic acid can be used on children? There's also no mention of the costs or time for any of the services. In summary - after booking an appt in advance, arranging for childcare, leaving a work meeting early so that I could drive an hour in the rain, skip dinner, wait 45 minutes just to get turned away and drive another half-hour home. It was an extremely disappointing experience and so not worth it. Billing herself as a top aesthetician, it wasn't what I expected. read more

I have had many facials, including facials at high end resorts like Four Seasons and The Ritz, and unfortunately, I feel like you often end up paying for the spa facility (ie. hot tubs, sauna etc) instead of the treatment which often feels rushed and not personal. Just the opposite here. Elisabeth opened this business about 6 months ago and you can tell her passion for it from the time you walk in the door. The inside of the spa is charming and very clean. Elisabeth welcomes you with sweet treats and tea and takes the time to get to know you and your concerns prior to the facial. When it comes to the facial itself, Elisabeth is so detail oriented and works on you the whole time - unlike other salons I have been to that put a mask on your face and then ignore you for 15-minutes while it is on.
